In a house in Inkopolis, lives a family if Inklings called the Geminks, the last name is seif-explanatory. The eldest of the Gemink children is Lapis, an inkling with a love for the color blue, and Turf Wars.
Lapis: Pew! Pew! Pew! Lapis Gemink going for the splat, *uses her Splattershot*
Garnet: Uh, Lapis.
Lapis: Not now Garnet, I'm practicing.
Garnet: You inked me.
Lapis: Oh, sorry Garnet.
Garnet: Its fine, you are good at redecorating though.
Diamanda: Hey you two, why are you cooped up inside this ol' room? We're filling up our old inflatable pool.
Garnet: Awesome. *drops his Burst Bomb*
The two changed into their swimsuits, Lapis changing into a raindrop bikini and Garnet changed into squid swim trunks.
Spinel: Hey dudes.
Lapis: Hey Spinel, hey everyone.
Jasper: Wassup Squiddos?
All the kids: Dad!!!!!
Diamanda: Are you ready.
All the kids: Yeah!!!!!
Diamanda and Jasper inflated the pool and filled it with water, but not too much water.
Jasper: It's *breathes* done.
Diamanda: Oh, it makes me feel nostalgic re-inflating this old thing, I remember when Lapis and Garnet used this as a wading pool 10 years ago.
The family sat in the pool, relaxing a d enjoying the afternoon outside.
Lapis: Hey guys.
Garnet: What Lapis?
Lapis: Lets get our Splatttershots and have a little Turf War.
Spinel: You're on!
The kids got their weapons and started a Turf War in their front, covering almost everything there, even the pool, accidentally splatting their parents.
Amethyst: Oops.
Diamanda: *breathes deeply* Kids, stay in the pool, no Turf War please,just sit and relax.
Opal: Aye aye mom.
The kids were relaxing in the pool, sitting there and doing absolutely nothing. 
Spinel: I'm super bored.
Lapis: I understand sis, but I suggest we listen to mom before she grounds us from our weapons.
Peridot: I have an idea, Ink it up.
Spinel: Gemink siblings, Multisplatter.
The kids combined their ink into a rainbow color.
Jasper: Kids I brought soda, *looks up at the sky* oh no. *gets splatted*
Spinel: We messed up.
Diamanda: Jasper! Oh thank the Great Zapfish you're ok, but you kids shouldn't be using your weapons outside, these are indoor weapons for your room.
Lapis: Alright mom.
The kids went back to the pool, going back to chill in silence.
Lapis: Lets try one more thing before we give up.
Spinel: Diving board?
Garnet: Diving board.
Lapis set up the diving board, she climbed up on jumped off, turning into her squid form, landing in the water.
Amethyst: You ok Lapis?
Lapis: No no no, I'm sinking.
The other kids: Dad!!!! Mom!!!!
When the kids were screaming, their parents couldn't hear a word
Jasper: You  hear something?
Diamanda: No, *listening* never mind sweetie, one of the kids must need us.
The two came and found Lapis in the pool, trying to grab her.
Diamanda::Lapis Lazuli Gemink! What made you think you could swim in squid form.
Lapis: I don't know. *dissolves and reappears on the front steps*
Lapis: I'm sorry mom, I just wanted to have a good t8me.
Diamanda: Its ok sweetie, maybe we should try something different, who wants to play with the sprinkler?
Everyone eise: I do!!!
The family ran around the sprinkler excitedly, getting to bond.
Garnet: I font know why, but I feel like I forgot something.
A window left open in Lapis and Garnet's room let out a bunch of red-orange ink.
Everyone: *chuckles*
