Authors note: before anyone says anything no there will not be a sequel this was just a story based on Kol and the love he should have deserved in canon and the love of a sibling Kai should have deserved in canon as well. That's why no one else is in this.

Chapter Thirteen, Baby Mikaelsons

When Evie and Kol returned home after their month-long honeymoon (which Kai hated, as he missed his sister), they were also in for a shock at what they found when they returned home. Not only had they decorated two beautiful nurseries for the baby Mikaelsons but that would arrive anytime soon. There had been many blossoming relations while Evie and Kol had been away. The first had been Holly and Kai, who had finally admitted to their feelings (Evie was beyond thrilled for her big brother).

The second were Davina and Josh who were just sooo cute together (apparently Josh had been wary of progressing their friendship at first for two reasons; one, he didn't want to ruin their friendship, and two, he was Bi. What he thought Evie could only guess at but Fabian soon purged him of that notion when she accepted him wholeheartedly. And the third surprising relationship was a little less than a happy occasion when Kol spotted his younger twin sister Rebekah coming down the stairs of the compound, and stepped in front of his pregnant wife protectively. Kol soon wished they'd stayed at home instead of heading to the compound after unpacking and resting for a while at home once their welcome party had left earlier that day.

At once Kai, Holly, Josh, Davina, Thierry and Sampson stepped up and stood on all sides of Evie protectively, causing the blonde Syphon witch to roll her eyes fondly, however, as didn't escape their notice that Marcel didn't stand with them, meaning only one thing; he knew. Immediately veins appeared in the vampire's faces and their eyes changed colour, while magic surged from to only Evie and Davina hit also from Kai and Kol too which shocked Rebekah.

"What're you doing here?" Kol snarled. "Are the others here?"
"Of course not." Rebekah scoffed, before she calmed down. "I just wanted to find my twin. I wanted to see my twin, make sure you were okay."
"Yeah?" Kai demanded, crossing his arms over his chest with an eyebrow raised sardonically.

"And who the hell are you?" Rebekah demanded, staring at them all incredulously.
"Bekah, meet my brother-in-law, Kai Parker. Kai, meet my younger, annoying twin sister Rebekah, who always sided with our older brothers instead of her twin." Kol groused.
"Brother-in-law?" Rebekah asked shocked, before eyes connected with the petite blonde with icy blue eyes, who was not only beautiful but was - to her immense shock - pregnant.

"Eyes off my wife!" Kol snarled heatedly, fangs bared and Heretic eyes exposed. "And you!" He added to Marcel. "How could you not tell us!! Too wrapped up in an old flame to care about us, huh?" He scoffed, as a sense of betrayal swamped all those who stood around and beside Kol and Evie.
"Kol, you know I would never do anything to endanger you, Evie, my niece and nephew, or anyone in our coven, I was as angry as you were when she arrived. But please, just listen."
Everyone shared a look as they silently communicated.

"Fine. Five minutes. Bekah, you have five minutes to explain." Evie said in a soft, whimsical voice that had a firm note to it. "I'm Evangeline Faith Mikaelson née Parker from the Gemini Coven, but I prefer Evie." Evie introduced.
"Thank you Evie, it's nice to meet you." Rebekah smiled, while inside shock stirred within her that her brother had married the strongest Gemini the coven had produced to date, before she turned to her twin. "I know you weren't included in Always and Forever, and no one understood what you were going through at the loss ..."

"I never lost it." Kol interrupted. "Mother locked away my magic like she did Klaus's wolf." He spat, shocking Rebekah, before anger overtook her at what both her brothers, especially her twin, he'd gone through at the hands of their parents.
"I'm so sorry Kol -"
"Don't be. My amazing and beautiful wife unlocked the Curse." Kol interrupted once more.
"I'm glad you found someone Kol, and I'm sorry for everything, I mean it. Truly I am. I want to make it up to you. I want to be twins again. I just hope it's not too late." Rebekah whispered sadly, knowing how much she'd messed up.

"Really, just like that?" Holly and Josh scoffed.
"I know it'll take time, but I swear, I never wanted any of this. Please Kol, and I think it's amazing that you accepted Evie's ..."
"They're my children, Rebekah. Once my magic was unlocked I somehow was able to gather our twins." Kol explained happily.
"Really?" Rebekah asked excitedly, eager to meet her niece and now ogre and her to know her sister. But she could see the fear in not only Kol's eyes, but everyone else's too. "I will never tell them, I swear it, Kol. On Always and Forever." Kol's eyes widened at Bekah's proclamation.

"Fine! But you'll have to earn it." Kol sighed.
"Thank you, Kol. Thank you!" Bekah exclaimed with relief, smiling brightly, especially when Marcel kissed her temple.
"See, I told you it would all work out." Marcel told her.
"Okay, but if you don't mind, I'm going home to sleep." Evie told everyone, turning to leave only for Bekah to call her back.
"Evie? I was wondering if we could hang out later or tomorrow?" Bekah asked unsurely. "I've never had a sister."
"Of course. I didn't have one that cared until I met Holly and Davina, so it would be nice." Evie smiled.

It was a few days later as Evie was having a third girls day in a row - which included Bekah, who the three girls got on exceedingly well with - when Evie suddenly went into labour. At once a flurry of activity filtered through Kol and Evie's joke as they prepared Evie for the birth and the right people were notified.

After hours of Evie screaming to the point of becoming hoarse in absolute agony causing those waiting in the living room - Kai, Josh and Marcel - Andy those waiting outside the house protecting Evie and the twins as a precaution - Thierry, Sampson, Roscoe and Scott - to wince with every scream. While in Evie's and Kol's bedroom, Kol winced in pain as his hand was almost crushed in his wife's surprisingly strong grip (not that ye uttered a sound about), and at her screams that broke his heart. The girls and Dr Matilda Smith tried to keep a strong façade as they helped her deliver the twins.

"That's it Evangeline, you're doing so well. One more big push and you'll have your first twin." Dr. Smith encouraged.
"WHAT DO YOU THINK I'M DOING!!" Evie screamed in agony. "AND DON'T CALL ME EVANGELINE!!"
"Shh, Shh, it's alright, love. I'm so proud of you." Kol encouraged, kissing her sweaty forehead.
"AND YOU!!" Evie hissed. "YOU'RE NEVER TOUCHING ME AGAIN!!!" Evie screamed at Kol, causing Bekah to try not to laugh as she smirked at her elder brother. With one more push a baby's shrill cry wrenched the air causing Evie to slump back against the pillows for the moment; exhausted.

"It's a boy. Congratulations." Dr. Smith announced, as she quickly cut the cord, and checked over the baby; once she'd framed he was healthy she passed him carefully to Holly to clean and dress him before he was placed in Evie's arms. The moment he was in Evie's arms he opened his eyes showing his mother's lye eyes but the rest was all Kol.
"He's gorgeous and looks like a mini-Kol." Bekah whispered reverently, a wide smile on her lips and tears in her eyes as she watched Evie and Kol bond with their son.

It was at that moment that she realised she didn't need to be human to have a family as she already had one right here and she wouldn't give it up for the world.
"What's his name?" She asked curiously.
"Henrick." Evie announced. "Henrick Evander Mikaelson."
"It's perfect, love." Kol smiled, kissing Evie longingly. He held his son only for a matter of minutes before Evie went into labour once more. Carefully he passed Henry to his twin sister - knowing Rebekah would protect him - as his wife needed him.

And so it went on repeat as Evie's screams wrenched the air once more; although thankfully it wasn't as king as before, because not twelve minutes later their daughter was born without any complications for both Mum and baby. When Evie and their sweet daughter - who looked like Evie's mini-me but with Kol's eyes - had been cleaned up and both babies had been fed, Evie called everyone in to introduce her twins to the rest of the coven.

"They're gorgeous, little sister, and my beautiful niece looks so much like you and mother." Kai praised, kissing his sister's forehead.
"What did you make her?" Thierry asked curiously, looking at his niece in Kai's arms.
"Kaileena Valkyrie Mikaelson." Evie and Kol introduced their daughter together, causing an avalanche of emotions to rise in Kai as tears escaped his eyes.
"Or Kai for short." Evie added.
"Kai 2.0." Sampson teased.

"You named her after me?" Kai croaked, looking at his sister and Kol.
"Of course we did." Kol stated as if it were obvious. "You've always loved and cared for Evie more than the role as a big brother but as a father and best friend too. Evie adores you and I saw no reason against it." Kol said firmly, clasping Kol's shoulder.
"Thank you." Kai whispered feeling incredibly touched. "Seems we've all got our Always and Forever, huh?" He remarked, a wide smile on his face.

"And the baby Mikaelsons certainly complete it." Sampson added, grinning widely at the mismatched family.
"I love you, Kol. I love all of you." Evie smiled tiredly at her family.
"Get some rest." Marcel suggested, kissing her forehead.
"I love you too, E." Kol agreed.
"Always and Forever." Everyone whispered, smiles upon their faces as Evie rested after the long birth as an air of contentment filled the air as for the first time in years, for some, they were all incredibly happy. More so than they could ever remember being and I was all thanks to one Evangeline 'Evie' Faith Mikaelson née Parker, who fell in love with the Wildest Mikaelson and had brought them all together.
