I realize that I had forgotten to move the announcement here after making it on my page a while back...

But I have some sad news.

There is no sequel, as of right now it's been taken down. Unfortunately I felt a creative block, and the sequel felt forced. Everyone wanted a sequel, so I wrote one—and that's not how writing works. I am not here to please fans desires, I'm here to write what I love and put it out into the world for others to enjoy.

Not to say I didn't like writing what I did of the sequel, but it felt like a completely different story entirely and I didn't like it. So I decided after months of hiatus to drop it.

I may bring it back later and revamp it, but for now there is no sequel. This book is beautiful stand-alone or paired with a sequel. I may write an epilogue just to make up for the lack of a sequel and wrap things up (in fact I like this idea the more I think of it).

I am very sorry to those of you who wanted to read/enjoyed and wanted to see the end of The Dragneel Life. I could just spoil the plot now for those who really want it since it's not what I am thinking of for the epilogue.

Again, I took it down because it felt forced and unnatural and it wasn't my best work. I sincerely apologize, and hope you all can enjoy The Geek's Game by itself.
