At the same time but in a different place, Renki (Golden Knight Reshigi) also arrived at a small town called Town B. He just finished a mission not long ago before he arrived here for a new mission. He entered the bar and sat down. A waitress approached and showed him the menu.

Then the waitress just walks away and prepares the order from Renki. Renki just looked around and observed. The bar is actually quite crowded but also silent at the same time. Everyone was just enjoying their meal without saying anything. Shortly after, the waitress appeared in front of Renki with a glass of beer in her hand.

Waitress: "Here's your order, sir."

Renki: "Thank you... Gulp..." (the sound of drinking).

Waitress: "Uhm.. seems like you aren't local people. First time here?"

Renki: "Yeah..."

Waitress: "Business or vacation?"

Renki: "Well... Just some business to attend."

Waitress: "Oh, I see... Find a place to stay already?"

Renki: "No, actually I'm still looking for it. Any suggestions?"

Waitress: "Well... a few blocks from here, you can see a motel. I guess it is quite nice there."

Renki: "Okay.. I'll take a look later. Thanks..."

Waitress: "You're welcome..." (grin a smile).

Then the bartender is walking towards Renki, and tries to carry him. But when he is just going to touch Renki, suddenly Renki awakes and grabs the bartender's hand. The bartender was so surprised.

Renki: "Uhm... What are you doing?"

Bartender: "Huh? Yo-you..."

The bartender quickly pulls his hand away from Renki before he finishes his words, then he tries to punch Renki. However, Renki can evade it. That's where the fight started with bare hands.

Bartender: "Hyaahhh... baaggg... biiggg... buuggg..."

Renki: "Baaggg... biiggg... buuggg..., hyaahhh... thuuggg..."

Bartender: "Duagghhh... argghhh..." (knock back and fell down unconscious),

The bartender was easily defeated by Renki in just a few minutes. Then he looked at the waitress.

Waitress: "Yo-you're not drugged? How can it be? It's impossible... I saw you drank it."

Renki: "What you see, it isn't what you think. Pthu..." (the sound of spit out the drink).

Waitress: "What?? How dare you fool me?"

The waitress yells at the people inside the bar.

Renki: "Huh?? Him? It's she mean..."

Suddenly, all of the people inside the bar are standing up and running toward Renki as they are going to take him down. Of course Renki would not just stay silent. He takes all of them down by himself. Suddenly, all the people turned into the terror's minions after defeat. As Renki expected. For the record, the minions of terror do not need to possess humans to take a physical form, oppositely they were summoned from the beneath of earth. However, they can change human form, only they don't have the intellect and logic like normal humans. They just look like zombies after all.

Renki: "Huh... Just minions. Anything else?"

Waitress: "Whe-when did you find out?"

They're stunning with the shining armor, a golden rank has arrived in their town. Then Reshigi changes back into human form, Renki. Actually they're from the ECG's branch camp in this town. Soon the conversation between them started. Renki told them about the mission of sending him to this town. They also received the same message from the HQ ECG, and to assist a Knight that had been assigned to here. But they never expected it to be a Golden-Knight. Usually ECG sends a Bronze rank or Silver rank to do the mission. And the Golden rank used to be sent only for secret missions or emergency incidents. Maybe this time the missions' have included some big disaster, that's why ECG sent the Golden Knight here. Afraid if the battle occurs and can't be avoided, then a Golden rank Knight it's much better than other lower rank. After a short introduction, they lead Renki to their camp to discuss further. At the base-camp, they told Renki that they were already tracking the terrors for several months. But the result is nil. They kept moving from one location to another (just like the town that Kyoga's in). No one knows where the next location would be. And somehow it's related to another town nearby. Possibly there is a connection between those two towns. However it seems difficult to find out what they're up to, but the camp elders here suspected it might be related to the pillar that they guarded in this town for a long time. Renki realized this mission was somehow difficult, so needed to handle it very carefully. The next day at the middle of the night, the ECG branch camp in that town got information that some high ranking Terrors were gathering at an abandoned warehouse near the pier. So the camp people and Renki go together to the warehouse. Renki with two others from the camp are peeping the terrors from outside the building at the top. However Renki with his companions can't hear clearly what the terrors are talking about since they can't get closer, afraid of being exposed. At first, the terrors didn't realize Renki and others were peeping at them. But a moment later, one of the high-ranking terrors smelled humans' odor.

Unknown S terror 1: "Sniff... sniff... (a sound of smelling). I smell humans around."

Unknown S terror 2: "Are you sure?"

Unknown S terror 3: "Yeah... I smell it too."

Unknown S terror 2: "Where?"

Unknown S terror 1: "Might be on the roof."

Then suddenly one of them is walking out the door. Renki realized something was not right. But he couldn't tell what it was. Not for long, the unknown S-rank terror appeared behind Renki and his companions. Then, without wasting time anymore, the S-rank terror tries to ambush Renki and his friends from behind. Luckily, Renki realized that and quickly evaded the attack right away. The fight between them can't be avoided. After a quite tough battle, finally the battle is over. One of the Knight-Agents and another one A-rank terror was killed that night. The three of the S-rank Terrors flee away. It seems like the terrors were just trying to measure the power of Golden Knight Reshigi, even if they have to sacrifice one of their companions, it is still worthy. Renki also realized that the terrors just tried to measure his ability. If not, it won't be only one knight getting killed, it could be more. It was just one thing he couldn't understand, what was that for. Why do they want to measure his power, what are they planning to do in this small town? It's still a riddle.
