Chapter 32

Song: Vanic X Aquilo – Losing You

Okay so this book is closing but I will have a lot of time jumps after this maybe even the birth of the new bloodhound.
There will be no other book in this series. I love you guys.

...

The darkness pulled me like the ocean backwash, dragging my soul into oblivion. Darkness like an enormous unending night that closed when the fire burned low and out. There was no light but it's during our darkest moments that we must focus on the light and the good, our happiness.

Then light at the end of every tunnel the light was a spot of hope. I could feel touch my soul, caress it.

I moved to it and I saw it.

Heaven...

That house that I had become so familiar with. The tress, the porch swing, the rose bushes. My home but I knew it wasn't so much the place but the person awaiting my arrival inside that was my home.

I stepped inside, I was home or going home...

"Pandora..." I heard his husky whisper. He looked the same, his same handsome self.

"Oh baby please tell me you're just visiting." He pleaded. I choked back and shook my head.

"It happened so fast." I whispered. Then it fully hit me. The baby...

"The baby." I cried and crashed into his chest. His arms wrapped around me without hesitation.

The baby...Castiel...My family...

"MAMA!" Castiel cried out as he clutched the bloodied body of his dead mother. She was gone. His mother, the woman who spent sixteen years searching for him with no giving up. Dead.

"Pandora, gorgeous..." Leslie whispered and he dropped on his knees before his daughter. No parent should outlive their child and yet he was cursed to live that very fate.

"If I can't have her then no one can." Sean laughed. Micheal picked up his gun and shot his leg, then his arms, then finally his head.

The cries of the bloodhounds filled the air in sombre clouds. Evelyn quickly came to Pandora's limp body.

"There's still time." She said and placed her hands on Pandora's heart and started to chant.

"It is not her time, bring back in which you took." Evelyn said and threw her head back and started to chant. A force of power threw everyone back as a ring of fire lit up. The pentagram along with it.

A bead of blood like rubies started to drip from her nose and her eyes like tears.

"Lucien." Pandora said as she felt a sudden pull.

"What is it?" he asked in concern.

"Something's not right." Pandora alerted him then her body was pulled with an unknown force.

"I'm going to hell." Pandora cried as she didn't know what other explanation there was.

"No no, I'm not letting you. Hold on baby." Lucien cried out and held on only for him to be pulled to until they were both pulled into a dark abyss.

Pandora's body shot up in gasps as she suddenly clutched her chest, Lucien's body had fallen next to her.

"Take care of my Lana, I'm sorry..." Evelyn cupped Pandora's face then fell limp. The little girl screamed for her sister but there was anything that someone could do. She paid the ultimate price because all magic come with a price.

Hope illuminated from Castiel as he watched his mother gasp for air. He basked in the fact that she was in fact alive. She was alive. The adrenalin that instantly awoke her body made her turn ridged and more aware. Her eyes instantly finding her husband's limp body that soon too, shot up with gasps as if drowning with life.

"Pandora!" he called for her.

"Lucien." She answered him with her own relief filled voice. He immediately crawled to her body ignoring the presence of anyone else.

"You're here! You're here..." Pandora stated as she rested her head on his.

"Mom." Castiel exclaimed as he witnessed the love of his parents. Instant bliss filled his veins and Lucien brought him closer and hugged them.

The Bloodhounds couldn't fathom the fact that Lucien had been brought back, it was impossible but is anything really impossible.

"The Baby!" Pandora cried out causing everyone to jump into action.

"The helicopter!" Leslie yelled for them. Lucien acted faster than anyone and took her in his arms as if she were a feather and took her into the helicopter, Castiel on his tail as he moved.

"Honestly I don't know why you are here?" the doctor said as he checked o everything.

"What do you mean?" I asked he as Lucien clutched my hand tightly.

"I mean there's absolutely nothing wrong with you, the baby is completely healthy." He said, his word instantly caused relief and bliss to flood my veins. Next to me Lucien sighed and dropped his head on my shoulder. I feel his relief as he sat next to me.

"You are free to leave." The doctor told me and walked out of the room and as he left the room was flooded with m- our family.

"Is everything okay?" Castiel asked as he carried in Lana in on his hip.

"Everything is okay." I told them with a smile. Lana looked around confusedly and immediately reached for Gia who took her without hesitation and cradled her to her chest.

"She's going to need a mother." I said softly to Gia, who nodded sadly.

"Maybe you, I don't think I could do much in my condition." I confessed to which she looked at me in hesitation.

"What do you think Benjamin would say." She asked me. It was clear that she attached to this little girl.

"He'll be happy." I reassured her.

Things were finally falling into place.
