Vinay was getting ready to go to office when his phone rang.

"Shiva, how was the trip buddy? When did you come back?" Vinay smiled at his friends voice.

He came out of his room conversing with his friend and went to the dining room to have his breakfast.

"Ok, see you in the afternoon," Saying so Vinay relaxed to have his breakfast. He frowned at his plate and shouted "Who served this?! I don't like salad! Do you serve salad for breakfast, huh?"

Sonia came to him and spoke "Its egg salad. I thought you might want to have some protein in the morning,"

"I don't like salads," Vinay got up from his seat angrily, avoiding any eye contact with her.

Before he could leave, he said "Don't serve me food, next time," and left for the office.

Sonia was heartbroken at his words. She wiped her tears and went to resume her work.

Mrs. Menon came to visit the Nair house. She was playing with Trishna who was busy pulling Sanal's hair. Sanal cried and complained to his mom, Latha who consoled him smiling at Trishna.

Sonia came to sit beside her mom as she didn't get a chance to converse with her.

Mrs. Menon ignored her and turned her back to her.

"Mumma, I will come to meet Dad once Appupa comes back from hospital. I want to talk a lot with all of you." Sonia wanted to gain her mom's attention.

She told a lot of stories about her stay in Shimla but Mrs. Menon was not at all paying attention to her.

Mrs. Menon got up suddenly and spoke "Nandini, I will leave. Sameer might come early today. As both Latha and he were planning to attend a birthday party. I will come some other time,"

Sonia was feeling sad at her mom's ignorance. She didn't dare to look at her mom-in-laws eyes. But Mrs. Nair came near her and spoke "She is little angry with you. Don't worry she will understand your reason for going away. Don't be sad, hm...?"

Sonia smiled weakly and picked Trishna to her room.

For the coming days, Sonia was getting the same amount of ignorance from both her mom and Vinay.

Maybe, because these two were the most hurt by her actions.

She thought to persuade both of them in her own way.

She told Latha to bring Mrs. Menon to the shopping mall and not let her know that she would too accompany them.

At the shopping mall

Latha and Mrs. Menon reached the mall and stood near the clothing store.

Mrs. Menon asked Latha as in why they were standing outside instead of shopping inside the store.

Latha made some random excuse praying for Sonia to turn up fast.

Her prayers were answered as she saw Sonia jogging towards them with Trishna in her hands.

Mrs. Menon wanted to leave the minute she saw Sonia but waited as she missed her grandchild badly.

She took Trishna from Sonia without looking at her daughter who smiled at her mom's little tactics.

The trio went inside the clothing store and started shopping some random clothes.

Sonia knew exactly how to make her mom break the ice.

She went to the changing room clutching a size smaller top.

After some time, she angrily came out and told the salesgirl that the top tore when she wanted to try it.

The salesgirl got furious and told Sonia to pay for the top. Sonia took her stand saying that she had picked the correct size but the material was of cheap quality.

Like that Sonia and the salesgirl started a verbal fight.

Mrs. Menon went near Latha and told her to interfere. Latha nodded her head but when she approached the fighting duo she was mercilessly pushed back by the salesgirl. Mrs. Menon gawked at the scene. But the next act made her blood boil to the highest, the salesgirl had pushed Sonia too harshly. The impact made Sonia fall back with a thud hurting her back.

Mrs. Menon marched at the salesgirl and slapped her hard.

When the salesgirl marched at the elderly lady, she was stopped by the manager. The manager apologised for his employees rude behaviour and made them shop at their fulfilment. But Mrs. Menon was so furious, that she ignored his offer and went outside the store taking her two daughters.

After coming outside the store, Mrs. Menon checked Sonia for some bruise or scratch. But to her satisfaction, not a single scratch was endured by Sonia. Mrs. Menon then hugged her tightly crying.

Sonia consoled her mom saying that she was alright.

Just like that Sonia was able to win her mom back.

Now she was confident that she would win back her Vinay too.

Nair's house

In the evening

Vinay went back to his room totally ignoring Sonia. Sonia was adamant to make him realise his love for her.

Little did Sonia knew that Vinay was hurt by the harsh words told by her. He wanted her to realise that whatever he did was out of pure love.

In Vinay's room

Vinay was busy texting his assistant about the details of the current project. He was simultaneously typing on his laptop.

He slumped back on his chair rubbing his tired eyes and limbs. He rested his head on the chair headrest.

He suddenly left two soft hands massaging his forehead in a smooth manner. He liked the movement and hummed softly.

After some time, he realised the owner of those soft touches, he grabbed her hand and looked back.

He was shocked to see her in a new attire.

She was wearing a night suit which was like a lingerie. Sonia smiled at him and tried to caress his cheeks.

He moved away from her. He spoke with an anger tone.

"Why are you here?"

Sonia huffed a smile and said that she wanted to meet him. She touched his arms lovingly. He moved back and tried to keep his distance.

Sonia didn't give up and back hugged him resting her head on his upper back.

She was softly caressing his chest who was resisting her advances.

He removed her hands and held it asking her "Go to sleep. Its late,"

"Sleep with me," Vinay turned around and looked at her surprised.

"No, Please go," he put her hand down.

He again tried to move but was back hugged again by her.

She slightly kissed his upper back and spoke "I missed you, Vinay"

Vinay scoffed and turned around saying "Am I seducing you that you came to me...like this..." he moved his eyes up and down her attire.

Sonia wanted to negate his words.

"Oh... sorry, maybe my voice is sexy for you, right?! or my eyes, hm...? Which one? Please elaborate. Coz, I don't want you to accuse me of seducing you!"

"Vinay, I am sorry for saying those horrible words. I was not aware of..." Sonia tried to clarify but her words were cut off.

"Aware?! I am sorry. Coz, you told me that you know very well as to why I am like this! right? A man who only wants a woman for..." Vinay clenched his jaw looking at her with teary eyes.

"Ms. Sonia, I promise you. Even if you come bare in front of me. I won't touch you," Vinay glared at her making his final words.

He moved out of the room shutting the door with a bang. Sonia came to know that day that she not only hurt his heart, she hurt his pride too.

Sonia cried her eyes out and cursed her tongue for saying those harsh words to her husband who only loved and worshipped her.

For the next few days,

Sonia and Vinay were getting distanced from themselves. The only link which bonded them together was their sunshine - Trishna.

Sonia was getting ready to go to the community program with Mrs. Nair and Reena.

Reena was busy getting the kids ready and packing their snacks in case anyone of them gets fuzzy and tired.

Sonia came out of her room and was walking past Vinay's room. Vinay came out of his room at the same time. Both looked at each other without speaking a single word - as usual.

Vinay moved to go downstairs when

"I will be going to the community program with Amma and Chech. We will be back only in the evening," Sonia said to gain his attention. Vinay just looked back and nodded.

Sonia was disheartened at his continuous ignorance. But with a heavy heart she moved to join her family in the living room.

At the community hall

Reena was making the kids comfortable with the help of the nanny.

Mrs. Menon and Mrs. Nair were simultaneously gossiping with each other and laughing in between to earn a smirk from their daughters.

Sonia was getting ready to perform her dance after a long time. The last time she performed was in front of her husband which she was not aware of.

How she wished he would come to see her performance. But she knew his hatred for her, so she got back to her stance and moved to the stage.

She went to the centre stage and waited for the music to start.

Her family applauded her performance along with the audience who missed their Sonia and her graceful performance.

To her unknown a shadowy figure watched her performance from afar with tears in his eyes. He watched how elegantly his wife danced to the music. He always loved to see her dance with so much beauty, refinement and with a free spirit.

After her performance, he quietly moved from the place and went back to his office.

Like every evening, the couple quietly ate their dinner with the regular chit chats of their family member.

Reena picked her call to get a surprise from her caller. She smiled and said that she will be waiting.

Vinod asked "Who was it?" Reena just smiled slightly and shaked her head.

"Reena was it Vanitha?" Reena shaked her head to her mom-in-laws question.

"She will be here in about...10 minutes," Reena exclaimed looking at her watch and smiling.

"Hello people, miss me!"

Sonia smiled remembering her weird friends voice. She ran to her and hugged her tightly.

Both of laughed and sat on the couch.

"Nia, I am very angry at you! You should have informed me about your return. I would have left everything and came back to you!" Rekha complained to her bestie who pursed her lips shaking her head.

Sonia's eyes teared hearing her bestie's words.

"Nia, what is it?! I am sorry if I hurt your feelings! I didn't mean to," Sonia just hugged her bestie saying sorry repeatedly.

Rekha just caressed her hair and smiled saying that it was okay.

The other family members smiled at the besties friendship.

Vinay screwed his eyes and got up from his seat walking towards them.
