In the abandoned factory, Rocky was moving inside to check on the captured man.

As he entered, he heard muffled groans. He snickered thinking that the injured man would be groaning with pain.

But he was in horror to find few of his men lying down with their injured limbs clutching it.

When Rocky approached him, the man got worried and spoke "Sir, he escaped! I couldn't stop him!"

"What happened here?!! How can he escape?! You were four of them taking one person captured! How is that even possible?!!" Rocky tried to make the man sit straight. He then tried to call for medical care for the man.

"Sir, he took us by surprise. We had gone for a break. We didn't realise that he had managed to untangle himself from the binds! Sir, we are sorry for our mistake!" The man groaned in between.

"Its fine! We will catch him. He would not have run far. We would get him back and make him pay for his deeds! So, don't worry! Just get yourself healed. I will take the other men and get him." Rocky made the medical assistant to heed to the injured men's bruises.

Rocky tried calling Vinay but he was not able to reach him on time. So, he called Grandpa to tell him about the current scenario that he had witnessed.

"I will send my men to search for that bastard! Don't move from there. Just send for the search party. He would be still in the forest; he won't have any clue to get out of that bewilderment. We have him in our range. Just call Vinay and tell him to join you asap. This time we go for the kill!" Appupa instructed Rocky on the phone and moved out of the house calling his most trusted man.

The injured man huffed desperately for air in the wild with ever growing trees towering him.

He looked up the sky which threatened to pour heavy grains of water to make his escape more challenging.

He dragged his twisted limbs through the mud and moved ahead hoping to find hard road to escape from the man who had managed to trap him from the human existence for almost two months.

He was also malnourished as he was given only water and some biscuits like a stray dog to keep him alive. They probably wanted to keep him alive for the final brutal kill.

He feared for the same and wanted to run from them for long.

So, with a bruised leg, half-severed arm, and ruptured right eye, the man limped forward at a tortoise pace to freedom. But alas!

He had made the worst decision to fall under the vision of Vinay and his men.

They were known for being heartless to their enemies. You would prefer death than being in their clutches.

Thinking about freedom and determination, the man moved forward.

After some gruesome hours, he could finally see the road where he could get the necessary help.

He saw a group of bus travellers trailing around their bus to probably stretch their stiff limbs.

Just when he was about to call out for help, he was grabbed from behind and held securely by the men.

Rocky told the men to take him to their hideout where Vinay and grandpa would deal with him.

He struggled in their hold but got brutally hit on the head making him unconscious.

Grandpa Menon was calling Vinay on the phone to get him to deal with the man once and for all. He was tired of the living corpse making it difficult to concentrate on the Mittal issue.

In Nair's house

Vinay's room

Vinay got up groggy missing her scent. He looked around and thought that Sonia would have proceeded to his family to do her daily deeds.

He went to the washroom to refresh when he heard some grunting sound. He opened the door to see Sonia nauseated near the washbasin. He ran to her to realise that she had vomited all morning with a severe headache.

He made her reach the bed and pulled the duvet over her.

"I will call our family doctor to take a look at you. Maybe you have got some infection. I don't want to take any chances!" Vinay began to dial their family doctor. Sonia stopped him saying

"Vinay, I am fine! It is the chicken soup that I had for dinner. You know I can't have it. It reacts with my system. I will be alright after having my herbal tea. So, don't worry!"

"Then why did you have it in the first place! I told you to be careful with your health. You have become thin too! Why don't you listen to me, Reine!" Vinay caressed her face worried.

"How could I not?! Chech made it with so much love! I need to try it! Tsk. Now don't worry. I will have my herbal tea and will be fit as a fiddle!" Sonia smiled weakly at him.

Vinay was still worried, so he made an appointment with the doctor to be sure.

In the afternoon, Sonia was feeling somewhat relaxed as Mrs. Nair had made her have some of her herbal soup which would cure any kind of indigestion.

Sonia was playing with Veena in the living room alongside Reena who was typing on the laptop. They were preparing the itinerary for the community annual program and discussing the events to be held.

Rekha arrived to help them with the same. Plus, she also missed Veena who was equally missing one of her favourite aunts.

They were randomly talking about the program. When Sonia suddenly got up from the couch holding her mouth and rushed to the washroom across the living room.

Everyone got worried at her actions. Reena told the worried Rekha about the morning event of Sonia being sick because of the chicken soup that she had the previous night.

Sonia came out of the washroom to be held carefully by Mrs. Nair.

Mrs. Nair didn't want to wait any longer and risk Sonia being infected. So, she called their family doctor to check on Sonia.

Vinay's Room

The doctor was checking Sonia and asking her some random question about her health for the past few days.

The doctor had requested all the family members to leave them alone during the check-up.

After taking down the notes, the doctor made her go through some home test.

When Sonia came out of the washroom, the doctor checked the kit and told her the result.

Sonia was overjoyed after hearing the news.

She requested the doctor to not disclose the happy news to the family members. As she wanted herself to disclose the news to the family, especially her loving husband.

After few days

In the hideout

Appupa was getting furious at Vinay's men to be so clumsy and not having the ability to keep a man under their grip.

"Son, I told you! We should have taken care of this infuriating man that day itself! But you and your ways! Why did you not kill him!"

"Appupa, I did this just so he can know the amount of pain that he has given to her. He should know that he messed with the wrong person!" Vinay tried to persuade grandpa.

"And we have to deal with this mess that has been created here!" Appupa confronted him.

Vinay was also irritated by the events that happened because of his men's carelessness.

He made sure to understand that it was time to end this issue asap before it reaches the one person from whom he had hidden it for a long time.

But he was interrupted by a call from his mother who wanted him to reach early to Sonia.

Sonia was weakening by the constant nausea and headache for the past few days which scared the Nair family.

Vinay had to halt his work and rushed to Sonia.

After reaching home, he went straight to their room.

He found Sonia sleeping peacefully on the bed. She was looking tired and pale from few days.

It worried him. He went to his mother to enquire on the advice given by the doctor for Sonia. Mrs. Nair told him that the doctor told it was just tiredness which was due to stress and prolonged travel schedule.

Mrs. Nair was happy to see the couple finally being so much in love and care for each other.

The next morning

Sonia got up little refreshed after her long rest the previous day. She was still weak so she opted to not go outside much.

Reena had told her that they would visit the grocery shop if she felt better for some shopping.

Vinay came out of the washroom drying his hair. He looked at his lovely wife and went near her.

"Are you feeling, ok? hm...if not, we can visit the doctor?" Vinay asked her while lightly hugging her.

Sonia smiled to calm his nerves saying "I am ok. Quite fresh actually. I had my rest for so many days. So today I can do my daily work."

"Ok. but don't stress yourself. Hm...? If anything, call mom or chech." Vinay kissed her forehead and patted her cheeks lovingly.

Sonia had planned to disclose the good news to her loving husband with a surprise dinner in his favourite restaurant.

The Living room

The family members finished their breakfast one by one and left for their work.

Vinay was called by his father to the living room to discuss some office work. He left his phone on the dining table.

Sonia was helping the maid to clean the table.

Vinay's phone ranged showing Rocky's call.

She called for Vinay but he was not able to hear her as he was totally engrossed with his dad.

After some time, the call went blank.

Again, it ranged. This time Sonia thought to attend the call and convey the message to Vinay.

"Boss, Ronny fainted! He is not responding! Should we take him to the hospital?" Rocky sounded desperate shocking Sonia.

Sonia looked at the phone and again bought the phone to her ears.

She could not believe what she heard.

"Boss?!!" Rocky called not hearing any sound from the other end.

Sonia sensed the unstoppable tears from her eyes. She cut the call and messaged asking him the location.

Rocky was puzzled at why his boss was suddenly asking him the location. Without thinking much, he messaged him his current location. He didn't want to anger his boss again after the other day's issue.

Sonia sent the location to her phone.

Sonia saw Vinay approaching her so she immediately kept the phone on the table.

"Vinay, take this file with you. You might need for today's meeting." Mr. Nair called him back.

Taking this chance, Sonia immediately took her phone and saved the location to her phone. She then deleted the message from Vinay's phone.

She was amazed at her skill of being so discreet.

Maybe she wanted to know the reason as to why her husband kept such a cruel secret from her.

Why would he capture Ronny and not tell her?

Why would he go to all the trouble to find him?

Why would he not let her confront him personally?

She wanted to find the answers to all her questions.
