In the morning

Sonia got up from her slumber to find the bed empty. She then heard water noises from the washroom.

She smiled remembering last night events. How Vinay calmed her and took care of her.

She touched her lips and imagined his cupid bows caressing her lips.

She blushed at the thought.

Just then Vinay came out and looked at her with a blank face.

She smiled at him and wished him "Good morning"

He nodded with creased eyebrows and went to the closet to get dressed in his formals.

She asked him "Where are we going today?"

Vinay stopped what he was doing and spoke without looking at her "I am going to talk with the engineers of the site. You can relax in the room. I will arrange for your refreshments. Hm..."

Saying so he grabbed his phone and looked at her for the last time before leaving.

Sonia was not understanding his behaviour. He was okay till last night.

What happened to him suddenly?

At the site

Vinay was thinking about the events that had happened the previous night. He was feeling so much regret at his actions. He should have not kissed her, was the thought doing circles in his head.

He tsked and got up from the meeting and excused himself for a headache.

He told Rocky to take him to the hotel.

After reaching the hotel, he went to the bar and told Rocky to check on Sonia. Rocky took his phone to call Sonia to check her.

He then ordered his drinks to forget that night.

Aparna had not joined for the meeting, as Vinay had told her to interview the employees who would be working in the resort.

When she came back to the hotel after her schedule, she met Rocky and asked him about Vinay's whereabouts.

Rocky told her that Vinay was in the bar lounge of the hotel and was not to be disturbed.

But she being an opportunist, fake smiled and agreed for the same.

When Rocky was out of her sight, she sneaked to the bar lounge to have a chat with Vinay.

Vinay was getting angrier by his behaviour and wanted to avoid Sonia for the upcoming days that they would spend in the island.

"Mr. Vinay, what are you doing here?"

Vinay looked at the owner of the voice.

Aparna gave her best smile for him. Vinay just went back to his drink ignoring her.

"Mind if I join you?" Aparna was not the one to give up so easily.

Taking his silence as an acceptance, she occupied the vacant seat beside him.

She ordered her drinks and spoke

"Are you lonely, Mr. Vinay?"

Vinay maintained his silence, twirling the hard liquid in its glass.

Aparna touched his arms and spoke

"Such a beautiful island, should be explored with beautiful people. Hm... Don't you think so, Vinay?"

Vinay looked at her hands clutching his arm and then gave a sharp glare at her.

He leered at her, tilting his head.

Aparna was overjoyed at her attempts. She knew that men would ultimately fall for beauty with grace.

He spoke "That's why I have my gorgeous wife with me here. Ms. Aparna."

He loosened her grip on his arms and walked past her.

Aparna was enraged by his rejection. No man had ever rejected her so ruthlessly.

She thought that she had to go for the kill, that was the only way to win him over.

Thinking about her evil plan, she simpered and looked at his receding figure.

"Tonight, you will be mine, Vinay! Let's see how well you reject my moves!" she spoke those venomous words with a glint in her eyes.

At the flea market

Sonia was bored sitting at the hotel room. So, she got dressed and went out of the room to explore the island.

Sonia was randomly shopping at the flea market that she was informed about by the hotel manager.

She thought of Vinay's behaviour in the morning. Everything was good till yesterday, what annoyed him suddenly.

On top of that, the weather was draining her! She was feeling parched at the scorching sun hitting her eyes.

She had bought all full-length dresses for the trip.

So, she thought of shopping for some that would suffice with the weather of the island.

She entered a clothing store and bought some shorts and loose shirts to go with them.

In college, she used to always wear short dresses. But ever since, Ronny came into her life he used to always object to her wearing western clothes.

'What are you wearing?!! Are these supposed to be worn in public?'

'Please, Sonia discard these and wear something decent next time, yuck!!'

'This is a party! Not a stripper club, that you are wearing that!'

'Seriously, Sonia! You have no sense of clothing!'

Sonia shrugged the vile thoughts of her past and bought more short comfortable dresses.

She got a call from Rocky but by the time she could grab her phone, the call got cut. She messaged him stating her location and purpose.

Then as she was moving out of the store, she saw a similar store that she had visited when she went for shopping in the mall with Latha and Rekha.

She thought to buy some of the clothing that she couldn't buy the last time.

She bought two sets of each in pink-black and white with feathers.

She liked the intricate design and the beautiful display of laces and bows on them.

She thought to try them once she reaches the hotel room.

She never thought that shopping would actually relax her so much.

In the afternoon

Sonia was in the washroom; she had showered for almost an hour relaxing in the hot tub. She wanted to relax her tensed muscles.

She grabbed her shopping bag and tried some of the clothing that she had bought.

The first one that she grabbed was the one that she had bought from the special store.

The first one that she wore was crafted soft white silk night gown with white ostrich feathers on the sleeves.

The next one she tried was peignoir set made up of stretch satin of gorgeous burgundy (marsala) color. The flared kimono robe has wide three-quarter sleeves; the hem and the sleeves were decorated with Chantilly lace adding it more feminine touch. The satin nightgown had transparent lacy bodice.

The fabric was softly placed on her body. She grazed the fabric and loved the way it complimented her new look. She removed the kimono robe and observed herself in the washroom mirror.

She was aware that Vinay had gone to the site for a meeting as told by Rocky. So, he won't be around for another 2-3 hours.

So, she thought to relax a bit in her new dress in the room on the bed and sleep in them.

She would remove them and keep them hidden from his sight till they reach home.

She came out of the washroom and sat on the edge of the bed. She let her long wavy hair down and caressed her neck and hummed to relieve her stress.

She was so engrossed in her thoughts that she didn't realise the bedroom door open.

She tilted her head sideways and hummed a song to match the cool breeze that was hitting her soft naked part of her body.

Few minutes back.

Vinay was frustrated at the conversation that he had to endure with his touchy team mate. He thought to sleep off to drive off the vile words that Aparna had just told him.

How could she think that he would think of any other woman than his beautiful and gifted wife?

She was a fool to not notice a smart, funny and loving person that was his wife.

He opened the suite door to find it weirdly quiet. He scanned the room to find no one. He thought maybe Sonia would have gone out to refresh her mind.

He mindlessly opened the bedroom door to witness the most exquisite sight in front of him.

Present scenario

Vinay only saw her bare back side which was not at all hidden and shined with the sunrays hitting it giving a honey glow.

She had parted her hair to the right side of her shoulder and caressing her bare neck. Her stray wavy hair was falling on her serene face to her shoulder blade enticing the man looking at her.

She had crossed her leg on top of the other giving it a slant look from the mirror adjacent to the bed which was clearly seen by Vinay. She had graced her eyes with light kohl and her lips were painted with a tint of wine-red color.

Vinay just looked at his lovely wife who was embracing her flawless self.

He gulped the saliva that had formed in his dry mouth. He closed his eyes momentarily to stop the physical ordeal that he was going through.

How can she sit so calmly awakening the tiger behind her?!!

He shaked his head and approached her.

He prayed to not grab her and take her there itself!

He went near her ears and whispered

"Black looks good on you, wifey!"

"Mhm, I know," Sonia softly hummed at his cool breathe near her ears tickling her. She jerked her head giggling to his whisper when he huffed a chuckle.

Suddenly she realised that she was actually responding to the person whom she never imagined to be present at that moment!

She looked at him from the mirror and straightened herself. She got somewhat scared at his appearance.

Her eyes shaked for a possible excuse and she bit her lips in nervousness.

Vinay lost it when he saw her biting her lips.

He went in front of her and knelt speaking

"You look gorgeous in this. Ma Reine*!" he sank in the details of her attire. Her wavy hairs were doing an excellent job of hiding her true self from his loving eyes mystifying him. She looked down blushing badly.

Sonia was breathing heavily at his stare. She was fiddling with the satin ends of her dress.

He touched her chin with his index finger and thumb. He placed a soft and long kiss on her forehead and said "But I like baby pink more,"

He looked straight in her doe eyes which were pouring innocence.

He then looked at her lips which were tainted with wine red to match the outfit.

He tilted his head and smiled at her bobbing his forehead with hers. Sonia had a sparkling sensation at this and she closed her eyes.

Then he just got up and went outside the room. Sonia opened her eyes missing his breath.

It took a while for Sonia to understand what just happened in the room.

She was sitting almost bare in a skimpy outfit and this man didn't even touch her!

She huffed a sigh of air at his will power.

She looked at the door and smiled thinking about the pure soul that left her untouched - her husband.

She went to the washroom to change in her regular outfits.

She chose to wear some comfortable clothes that she had bought.

Vinay had informed her that they would have their lunch at the seaside restaurant near the beach.

Vinay was watching some random stuff in the tv waiting for Sonia to join him for lunch.

He heard the bedroomdoor close and turned to get another surprise.

Sonia opted for a denim short with a white camisole donned with a pink blazer.

She had white sneakers to cool her heels. She tied her long hair in a loose ponytail.

They both smiled at each other and went out to have their lunch.
