After some time, he came out of the washroom to let Sonia to use it.

Sonia was still on the bed thinking deeply.

He was drying his hair with the towel when he noticed her still in bed and asked her

"Are you not taking a bath? The washroom is free. Go ahead."

Sonia looked at him and spoke doing a hand movement

"Um...Mr. Vinay can you...like...turn your back.... till I go to the washroom."

Vinay stopped whatever he was doing and looked at her with a blank face.

"It doesn't matter to me whatever you wear, Sonia. Just go and use the washroom. We are already late!"

Sonia just pouted and gave a begging look to him.

Vinay thought it would be time consuming to start an argument like last night. So, he turned his back shaking his head.

Seeing that Sonia immediately ran to the washroom.

After the door closing, Vinay continued to dress himself. He was looking at the mirror to check for the last time. He worn a full black suit matching it with a blue undershirt. He wore his Rolex and was about to leave when,

Sonia came out of the washroom in the simple kurta which puzzled Vinay. He asked her the reason.

They were supposed to visit Menon family as a part of the wedding ritual, so she was supposed to wear a saree.

"I don't know how to wear a saree," Sonia looked down and put the saree on the bed. She folded her hands near her chest and massaged her neck.

Seeing her plight, Vinay went out, not gaining any attention from her.

After some time, Reena knocked on the door. Sonia went to open the room door and welcomed her in.

Reena told her that she would help her with the saree. Sonia thought that maybe she would have realised their delay and came to check on her.

After getting dressed with the help of Reena, both of them went out to have their breakfast at the dining table.

The other family members were already seated on the table waiting for Sonia and Reena.

Mrs. Nair looked towards the stairs and gaped at her sight. All of them looked at her puzzled as she suddenly halted her moments.

They travelled her gaze getting equally wide eyed.

Vinay saw their facial expression odd and moved to their sight to be stunned at his vision. 

Sonia was wearing a light peach organza saree having digital paint with embroidery sequence work lace border. She donned a pearl necklace to keep her look simple. She left her hair loose as suggested by Reena giving her a fresh look. As usual she kept her makeup minimal with light kohl eyes and baby pink lip gloss.

She descended the stairs and moved towards the dining table. She seated herself beside Vinay who was not taking his eyes off her. He could smell her jasmine scent which would immediately relax his senses.

Reena cleared her throat, to which Vinay looked down smilingly. She told them that they would be required to visit the Menon house and then would return back home to pack their bags, for their honeymoon trip to Maldives.

After having their breakfast, Vinay and Sonia went to the parking lot to drive off to the Menon's house.

The whole car ride was silent, with Vinay glancing at her from time to time. He couldn't stop himself from looking at her, as this was the first time he had seen in a saree. She was looking breath-taking the moment she descended those stairs.

He smiled at his awkwardness and continued driving.

At the Menon residence

The Menon family was eagerly waiting for the newlyweds to arrive to meet them first time after the wedding.

The most anxious being Rekha as she had seen the tensed face of Sonia for the past so many months and she just wanted to console her as much as she could.

The newlyweds arrived at the Menon house, Vinay stopped the car engine and looked at Sonia who was in deep thoughts not aware that they have reached.

Vinay clutched her hand softly to which she jerked and looked at their joined hands. She immediately took her hand back and looked outside to see that they have reached her house.

She opened the car door, but before she could come out. Vinay had already raced to her side. He smiled and offered his hand to help her. As she was finding it little difficult to carry off the saree, she took his hand and came out of the car. She didn't realise that this action would bring them closer. Vinay clutched her hand tightly looking at her face and adoring her. She just distanced herself from him and walked towards her house.

He followed her shrugging his thoughts, giving a daze look in the sky.

When she went inside, she immediately hugged each and every family member. When she turned towards Rekha, her eyes automatically teared, she hugged her the tightest as she was suddenly feeling lonely in the Nair family.

Vinay was invited in by Mr. Menon and welcomed him to sit on the couch adjacent to Sameer. Seeing this, Sameer immediately got up from his seat and left the living room leaving for the reading room.

Mr. Menon was slightly angered at his son's behaviour but he laughed it off saying that he was tensed because of the recent office project.

After talking for some time, Vinay said that he had to leave for office.

"But, aren't you both going for your honeymoon to the Maldives?" Mrs. Menon enquired with Vinay. Vinay shaked his eyes and looked at Sonia who was shocked at her mom's words.

"No, Amma, I have some urgent work in the office which I cannot avoid. So, we have cancelled the trip for now." Vinay tried to convince her.

Everyone was shocked at his way of addressing Mrs. Menon. Mrs. Menon smiled from ear to ear confusing him.

Vinay suddenly realised his blunder and apologised to her.

Mrs. Menon held his hand in hers and loving spoke

"Why sorry? You have the right to call me Amma. As I am also your mother from now on. hm...?"

Vinay nodded in affirmation. Everyone was happy at the tender affection shared by the mother and son, except Sonia.

Sonia was keeping her head down the whole time. Speaking only when required. Rekha was worried about her bestie.

Appupa came forward the newlyweds and blessed them saying

"Now both of you have not just one but two families who will love and care for you. So, it's your duty to love them back equally and sometimes more."

Vinay smiled at his words and nodded.

Sonia just stood silently.

Vinay and Sonia bid their goodbyes to the family and left for their home.

Vinay would drop her home and leave for office.

When they reached the Nair residence, Vinay spoke

"My assistant has told me that Ronny maybe in Goa. He had hired a detective to find his whereabouts. He informed me today morning. So, I can go look for him and find out the reason behind his sudden disappearance."

Sonia looked at him with hope.

"You found Ronny! That's great! I will come with you. I want to ask him why did he leave me suddenly without informing. I want to know the reason why. I want to bring him back."

Vinay gave a disappointing look to her saying that he would manage himself. As she would tire herself.

But she didn't budge from her decision, staying adamant on accompanying him to Goa to search for Ronny.

Finally, Vinay agreed and told her that they would leave the next day evening.

She agreed and went inside the house to start with her packing.

In the evening

Vinay had reached home after discussing his travel schedule with his assistant.

As he entered the house, he was welcomed by Rekha who was chatting with Reena and Vinod. Rekha had apparently come on request by Sonia to bring her some of her old kurtas from the Menon house.

"Rekha, what a pleasant surprise! How are you?" Vinay took her for a side hug and asked.

"I am fine, Mr. Yashuu. Just came to visit my bestie's new house." Rekha told him.

Vinay nodded and started conversing with her.

Sonia came to the living room and went towards them to join the conversation.

Rekha was informed by Sonia that they would be leaving to Goa to search for Ronny.

At the dining table.

The family accompanied by Rekha were having their dinner, when Vinay cleared his throat and told them that he had planned to go to Goa for his trip along with Sonia.

The family was excited at this. They were happy that finally the new couple would be able to spend some quality time together alone.

Vinay looked at Sonia when he announced the news.

Sonia gave him a worried look which didn't go unnoticed by Rekha.

After the dinner, Rekha left for her home. Vinay excused himself to continue with his work in his room.

After some time, Sonia entered their room and went to the washroom to do her night routine.

When she came out, she saw Vinay totally engrossed in his laptop. She was wiping her hair dry with the towel and trying to start a conversation with him.

"What is it?" Vinay asked her seeing her struggle. Sonia was startled at his alertness.

"Mr. Vinay we will able to find Ronny, right?"

Vinay shifted his attention to her saying "Of course, we will. Don't worry we will find him."

Sonia felt relaxed at his words. But then at the next moment, she again tensed and became hesitant to ask him about the sleeping arrangements.

Vinay looked at her raising his eyebrow as in asking her the reason for her hesitation.

Sonia pursed her lips and tried to speak by looking at the couch.

Vinay creased his eyebrows not understanding her. Then he looked at the couch and deciphered that she was asking him about the sleeping arrangements.

He thought to tease her to relax her. He poked his tongue to his left cheek and said,

"Um...I can't sleep on the couch,"

Sonia gaped at his words and said, "But, yesterday you slept on the couch! What is the problem, today?"

Vinay closed his laptop getting up and strode towards her saying "Yesterday, I was being lenient with you. But today I can't sleep on the couch. So, you can sleep on it. Ok?"

He then slumped on the bed keeping his hands behind his head. He gave his best smile at her mocking her. Sonia just glared at him, saying

"How can you do that? You want me to sleep on the couch? I can hurt my back!"

"So, you want me to hurt my back, hm...?" Vinay asked her raising his eyebrow.

Sonia was lost for words at his question. She just marched to him snapping her finger and said "Listen, Mr. Vinay, I am not going to sleep on the couch! So, get up and empty the bed!"

"Hmph, you are threatening me, The Vinay Nair! Do you know who I am and what I am capable of? Miss Shorty!" Vinay again teased her.

Sonia looked at him wide mouthed, "You did not just call me Shorty?!!"

Vinay chuckled at her saying "Hm...you are short of hearing too. Pity!!" He shaked his head looking at her with disappointment.

Sonia couldn't take it anymore; she grabbed the pillow nearby and started hitting him with it.

He tried to dodge her and attempting to catch her hands giggling.

When he finally caught hold of her hand, they both landed on the bed on their knees.

Vinay tightly held her hand and was enjoying her struggle to come out of his hold.

This constant pull made them loose their balance and she fell on top of him.

Their faces were quite close to each other. One wrong move, they would end up kissing. They could feel and hear each other's breathing. They gazed at each other lovingly.

The heavy breathing was making their heart to burst out.

Sonia realised their position and tried to get up. But Vinay didn't leave her. She was shocked at his behaviour and tried again, but he didn't leave her holding her softly in his strong arms.

He could feel her soft skin which were hidden under the layer of her kurta. Her jasmine scent invaded his senses not letting him to separate her from his heated self. She was looking at him scared which annoyed him as he didn't want her to feel that way with him.

He slowly caressed her back saying, "Don't play with me, Ms. Sonia. I am not always a patience guy, Her eyes widened at his statement.

He looked at her lovingly and then left her. She immediately got up from him saying "I will sleep on the couch." She was avoiding his gaze and crossed her hands on her chest.

Vinay slowly got up and said "No need, I will sleep on it. Moreover, it is just a temporary arrangement, right?"

Sonia looked at him puzzled and then understood that he meant their separation.

"I have ordered for a single bed which we can occupy in our room. Hm...?" Vinay said to her clearing her doubts.

She looked down and nodded.

Vinay moved to the couch and got ready to sleep.
