Crazy Karaoke Night
There is no need for any explanation. The title says it all. I can't wait to get it started! By the way, this happens two hours later after the end of last chapter. Let's get started....
"All right, is everyone here?" Rondi asked to the group of people. It was finally time for Rondi to exploit his secret plan.
"Present," everyone replied in one accord. They were either on the couches or sitting on he ground of the living room, eagerly awaiting the fun that they would have.
"It is time to do something amazing," Rondi announced, "something like...the karaoke!"
"Oh!!" the Gamers exclaimed in some excitement. For them, karaoke was something that they can do, just when nobody's around. If it's in front of other people that they don't know, nervousness and excitement fill their bodies. But they still do fine. As for the others in the room, they were filled with bewilderment and looked recoiled.
"Wow, when was the last time we sung?" James asked as he helped Rondi get the equipment.
"Dude, that was a month ago," Bryan noted as he turned on the television with a remote.
"Oh yeah!" Summer agreed as she recounted the event in her mind. "That was some party."
"I can't believe we're doing this," Marth complained with crossed arms. "This is completely idiotic!" Everyone immediately paused from their current assignment and stared at Marth in surprise.
"We have been doing the most craziest things for the last week, and you call this idiotic!" Link argued with a fierce tone.
"Should we run?" Jewel asked Shizuka with frightened eyes as she hid behind a pillow.
"Actually, all that we are doing is idiotic!" Marth commented.
"Yup, let's get out of here!" Lizzy whispered to her older brother. The people who were not involved to quietly walk away when...
"That's it! I had enough!" Ike shouted to everyone. "You two are coming with me!" He grabbed both Marth and Link by the collars and dragged them out of sight. Everyone could hear Ike's faint shout, "If you guys try to get away, I swear I'm gonna knock you out and throw you outside!" The room grew quiet as the noise was dragged away. The group glanced at each other in consternation.
"Oh my goodness!" Shizuka gasped, breaking the sudden silence. She was absolutely right. This was unusual.
"I guess we just took a little preview of Ike's "other side" is," Jarod proclaimed to his friends.
"A side that we never knew," Lizzy added, still a little surprised.
"Should we start without them?" Jewel asked Rondi, who began to get the karaoke set out again.
"I think that would be a lot safer," Bryan mentioned, joining Rondi. The rest of the group came to an agreement and waited to have fun.
10 minutes later.................
"We are the champions, my friends!" Jarod and James sang loudly in the microphone. "And we'll keep on fighting, till the end!!"
"Bum, bum, bum!" Jewel sang according to the beat of the song.
"We are the champions! We are the champions!!" the two sang continually. "No time for losers! 'Cause we are the champions!" That was the end of the great song. Suddenly...
"I want Bohemian Rhapsody!" someone in the background exclaimed. As an agreement, everyone started singing the song together. Although everyone was very loud, and I mean VERY loud. You would've been able to hear Jarod the loudest. Near the end of the song, Ike, Link, and Marth decided to join them after the violent fight.
"Aww, you started without us!" Ike complained.
"Yes!" Summer exclaimed loudly. "Yes we did!!"
"If your ears are almost deaf," Bryan began with a sigh, "blame the man with the hazel eyes."
"Are you blaming yourself?" Link questioned him with a surprised look.
"The other guy with the hazel eyes! Don't be so specific!"
"Oh!!" everyone said in unison.
"Why am I always blamed?" Jarod asked everyone in disgust.
"Because you're the leader," Marth answered plainly. "It's pure logic."
"That's terrible!" Keiza gasped.
"I can't disagree with logic, guys," Lizzy replied with a microphone in her hand. "By the way, are we still singing I Will Survive?"
"Yes we are," Rondi said as he prepared the electrical machine. When the song started its piano solo, the hylian ran to the TV and suddenly fell to his knees, which made him do an epic slide. He accidentally ran into Jarod and Lizzy, who were in front of him. The two siblings immediately fell backwards and toppled on top of Link.
"Are you guys okay?" Bryan asked with concern as he turned off the TV.
"Me and bro?" Lizzy said as she helped her brother off of their friend. "Yes. Link...probably not." Everyone gathered together in a football huddle formation around the body and tried to discuss what will happen next.
"What should we do with this poor body?" Bryan asked. "He probably has a fatal concussion and is doomed to die or is already dead."
"Maybe," Summer replied. "I think we should put him upstairs for safe-keeping."
"Or cut out his entrails and burn them," Lizzy suggested while she took a knife out of her pocket.
"No!" everyone else yelled in unison.
"Too much information!" Rondi exclaimed in astonishment. "Why would you do that?"
"I was joking!"
"You used it in a serious manner, though."
"Alright! Time to take the body to a nearby resting place," Jarod announced, grabbing Link and throwing him on his shoulder. He began to walk away from the scene when the injured person groaned,
"What happened to me?"
"He's alive!" Lizzy screamed at the top of her lungs. Jarod immediately turned around, causing LInk's head to be banged to the wall and knock him unconscious again.
"He's not dead?" Jarod exclaimed in question.
"He probably is now after you BANGED HIS HEAD!" someone said in the background. Their leader glanced at the wall where Link's head was hit, which had a hint of blood that wouldn't cause any concussion. Jarod immediately ran up the stairs with Link on his shoulders, leaving his friends downstairs.
"Why does everything happen to him?" James asked.
"I bet his good friend knows the answer," Marth replied, staring at Lizzy.
"He always gets into the most craziest situations," Lizzy explained with a sigh. "Either he gets injured mentally, physically, emotionally, or does something hilarious. Today, he has done both."
"Does he recover quickly?"
"It depends. If it's mentally or physically, he can recover surprisingly fast. If it's emotionally, that could be an entirely different story. There was this one time that after an emotional breakdown that he couldn't recover for days! Thank goodness his birthday was a week after the incident! It could have been weeks before he would've recovered."
"I guess that's nice," Mr. L remarked. "What was this incident?"
"That information is classified," Lizzy answered quickly.
"Hey!" Jarod yelled from upstairs. "Our friend's all right!"
"That's a relief!" Ike yelled back. "How's he doing? Is he awake?"
"He happens to be awake! Say hello!" However, no other voice came from upstairs. "Don't tell me you're asleep!" Jarod exclaimed.
"Not again!" Summer screamed in annoyance. Everyone ran up the stairs and into Jarod's small bedroom, where Link was sound asleep on the bed.
"Is this normal?" Rondi and Mr. L asked as everyone else tried to wake him up by shaking him.
"Oh yeah!" Jewel replied frankly. "We had to use the Hitman Reborn Awakening technique to wake this guy up! He's like a bear in hibernation."
"That's bad," Rondi pointed out.
"I think we should get a bucket of water," James suggested. "Since he's weak."
"Good idea!" Summer exclaimed. "A cold splash will do the trick!"
"Hold on a second," Keiza announced. "That might not work. Let me do some water-bending to get this guy awake." She came close to the bed, about a couple of inches away, and drew water from a clear bottle with her delicate hands. She bended it until it completely washed onto Link's head, but not on his face. "How long should I hold it?"
"I don't know," Lizzy replied, in thought of what Keiza should do. "As long as it is cold enough for him to wake up."
"That might take awhile."
Two hours later.....................
"This is taking forever!" James yelled loudly, waking up the group. He and Keiza were the only ones awake and kept watch to see if their friend would emerge from slumber.
"That man is incredible!" Mr. L yawned. "I think it's time for Plan B."
"What's Plan B?" Jewel asked, following her dad as he crept to the other side of the room and opened the window.
"Don't commit suicide!" Keiza exclaimed, still using her exhausted arms to waterbend.
"I'm not," Mr. L replied. "I'm just finding another suggestion."
"We throw him outside through the window," Jarod clarified. "That seems a bit extreme."
"As long as it means I can finally stop doing this," the waterbender added as she slowly sent the water out of Link's head.
"Of course you can." She suddenly jerked her shoulders and elbows back to completely remove the water and put it into the plastic bottle. The rest of the group gazed at the sleeping body for a couple of minutes, until...
"Why did you guys try to wake me up?" Link asked with a yawn.
"Aaaahhh!!" everyone screamed at the top of their lungs. Link opened his blue eyes in confusion at them.
"Aren't you suppose to be asleep like every other time you're on a bed?" Marth asked in a serious tone.
"I was!" Link replied innocently. "Just not in a deep slumber!"
"Why is that?"
"Because I was trying to recover from my head injury! I almost fell asleep with the water in my head!"
"........."
"Okay, sounded very questionable," Bryan remarked after a few moments of dead silence.
"But it makes sense," Lizzy replied with shrugged shoulders. "Water can at times relax you, even when it seems completely unnecessary."
"I knew we should have used the Hitman Reborn Awakening!" someone in the group said.
"Nope! Bad idea!" Ike responded quickly, remembering the incident before they came to Earth.
"I never get to ask this question," Shizuka mentioned as she leaned on Jarod's shoulder. "What else do you do here?"
"Around us," James began to explain, "almost anything is possible. But there are a lot of other things we can do this summer."
"Guys, summer vacation is almost over," Jewel commented sadly. "We only have a few weeks left."
"What?!" the Gamers exclaimed loudly. They never watch the time pass by. Then again, their group name would give a logical explanation for that.
"So what do we do now?" Bryan asked hurriedly. "We're wasting time!"
"Jump off a....wait, never mind," Summer said.
"Jumping off a cliff will not help us today!"
"Well, how about the upcoming Summer Festival?"
"I totally forgot about the festival!" Jarod gasped suddenly.
"What?" Shizuka, Marth, Link, and Ike said in confusion.
"It's basically a time of the year where we can celebrate the summer season," Keiza explained. "Usually they have plays for everyone to participate in. Last year, we tried out for a Star Wars play."
"That sounded exciting," Ike remarked. "How'd it go?"
"We weren't able to participate," Bryan replied. "The director has a daughter who gets anything she wants. She chose the crew, but it wasn't us."
"Yeah!" Summer agreed with clutched fists. "She was a bully and threat to us all!"
"But you guys are so good at improvising," Link pointed out. "How did you not get picked?"
"Not sure. Maybe she didn't like us."
"But who cares? We got the whole universe in our hands!" Lizzy exclaimed proudly. "We can do almost anything."
"What can't we do?" James asked.
"I don't know. I gotta figure it out."
"We don't have to audition if you guys don't want to," Jarod added. "Let's just go and have a blast!"
"I think that's the best plan that you have ever concocted!" James exclaimed in surprise.
"Is it because I'm that amazing?"
".....no," everyone said plainly.
"Well, you guys are just terrible!" Everyone laughed hard at the comment. But suddenly... DING DONG! The group jolted in shock. They weren't expecting company now, were they?
"Who's at the door?" Rondi asked.
"Not sure," Jarod responded, confused of the situation. "I'll go find out. You stay here just to be safe." He immediately ran out of the room while his friends were left behind. They were as confused as Jarod was.
"Do random people show up at your house?" Marth questioned the Gamers.
"Nope," one of them answered back. "This is new."
"We're gonna die!" Jewel shouted in agony.
"What?! No, we're not!" her sister replied in disbelief.
"Yes we are! Usually if a random person comes, it's most likely the enemy. That happens all the time>"
"She has a very good point," Lizzy added. 'It's been like that for a while now."
"But I didn't bring my sword," Link pouted. "Darn it!"
"Don't worry guys," Jarod announced after he re-entered the room. "This is nothing we need to worry about. But I should introduce them. Come on up here, guys!"
So...who's gonna come up the stairs? Guess you're find out in the next chapter. A little warning to you all: there's a huge time skip of about 5-6 years. Why I did this? I was running out of ideas..... Anyway, about 5 years later everyone lives in a huge city in Nintendo, having lots of fun with their new friends. Besides the new guests, you'll meet another girl from the time skip.
The reason why I'm telling you this now is because I never explain the backstory of the time skip. At some point in time I probably should. But this story is quite random....
See you next chapter!
