----The Real Story----
(Reader's PoV)
I was so excited for my first day of high school. I've been homeschooled for all my life and my mom is finally letting me go to public school. I was in the car playing on my 3DS. I was playing Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I just got it recently because it was only $19.98.
"Honey, we're here," my mom states as she pulled up to the front of the school.
"Thanks, Mom. See you after school!" I cheered. I kissed her on the cheek and got out of the car. I put my 3DS in my hoodie's pocket and walked into the school with my backpack on my back. I wandered around for a while until I heard the first bell.
"Shoot!" I exclaimed. My first class was algebra and I don't remember where the classroom is. I looked around and saw a group of three girls just down the hall a little ways talking. I walked over to them and tapped one of their shoulders.
"Who are you?" the girl who's shoulder I tapped asked rudely. I had to look up to her because I was shorter than she was. I was shorter than all of them.
"I'm (y/n)," I replied. "I was wondering if you could tell me where the algebra classroom was."
"You're that new, weird student aren't you? The one who's been homeschooled all her life. Why don't you just head back home and be a freak there," the girl to my left said.
My mother taught me to be polite even if the other person is rude so I stated, "I really can't. I'm sorry though. I would have really done so if it made you happy." She may have taught me to be sassy while being polite.
"You're just a huge freak so stop talking to us," the girl in the middle, who was the one I tapped their shoulder, commanded.
"Not until you tell me where the algebra room is," I objected. These girls were really getting on my nerves.
"Why don't we teach her how we don't take commands from anyone," the one on the right stated. The other two nodded and grabbed my arms and pinned them against the wall beside us. The one who commanded them, which I guess is the leader, slapped me across the face. I assume she then saw the rectangular shape in my hoodie pocket because she reached in and took out my 3DS.
My eyes widened a bit when I saw her hold it up, looking at it. She glanced at me and saw me staring and smirked.
"I'll give you back what ever this is if you bring us one hundred dollars by tomorrow or else the game goes bye bye," she blackmailed. I nodded my head rapidly and the two girls holding me let go of my arms. I searched my pockets for the lunch money my mom gave me which was twenty dollars since she didn't know how much I needed. I found it and handed it to the leader. She excepted it, but when I reached for my game she held it away from me.
"I'm going to keep this until tomorrow," she replied then started to walk away. "Also the algebra room is right there." She pointed to the classroom we were closest to and continued to walk away.
Let's just say the rest of my day was hell.
----Author's Letter----
Dear readers,
The beginning is you speaking and me trying to convince you to do the story. That's what those blanks are. Also I'll try to update once every other week if not that at least once a month.
