Scott's Perspective-

"And everyone else has found their soulmates?"

Cleo nodded.

Scott sighed, "So our soulmates are the two people in the nether."

"Yep."

Scott groaned and Cleo laughed.

"Come on, we don't need them, why don't we team up?"

"But we're not soulmates."

"So? There's no rules saying you have to team up with your soulmate."

Scott thought for a minute and then gasped, "You're right!"

Cleo smiled, "So? Let's team up!"

Scott nodded and they high fived before they found a nice area to build at.

"Scott and Cleo! You two haven't found your soulmate, right?" Martyn asked as Cleo and Scott walked into the forest.

They had gone out to collect more wood for their houses when they ran into Martyn and Pearl.

Scott and Cleo exchanged looks and they both smirked.

"Noo." Scott said, his voice cracking a bit.

Martyn narrowed his eyes, "That was a very unconvincing 'no'."

"No, me and Cleo are not soulmates." Scott said.

Martyn smiled, "Good! Because me and Pearl are trying to find ours!"

A goat then rammed into Scott, and he took damage.

"Ow! Martyn I'm getting attacked by your goat!"

"Er- that's actually the point! We're trying to find each other's soulmates by taking damage!"

Pearl started laughing.

"Martyn, I think I know who my soulmate is."

Martyn blinked, "Wait, you do?"

"Here." Scott said, "Let us show you. Cleo, can you...?"

Cleo nodded and punch Scott.

Martyn watched as Pearl and Scott took damage.

"Wait, you knew?" Martyn asked.

"Well, me and Cleo knew that we were paired up with you, we just didn't know which one of us was with you or Pearl."

"Why didn't you say anything?"

Scott scoffed, "That's because you two idiots were off in the nether together! Me and Cleo went around the entire place trying to find our soulmates and you two were off in the nether together!"

"I- we were searching as well!" Pearl said, standing next to Martyn and folding her arms.

"Were you? Seems like you two were off being soulmates together."

Scott and Cleo then turned around and started to walk off.

"Wait, but Scott, aren't we gonna live together?" Pearl asked, tapping Scott's shoulder.

Scott turned around and looked at Pearl up and down.

"No." He said simply before walking away.

"O-oh." Pearl said, her voice shaking.

She then turned to Martyn, who looked in disbelief.

"So are we gonna be together?" She asked.

Martyn scoffed, "Frick no. You made me lose my soulmate, there's no way I'm teaming up with you."

"My fault? You were the one who wanted to go in the nether!"

"Whatever." Martyn muttered, turning around, "Now if you excuse me, I need to go get back my soulmate because someone made me lose mine."
