"I studied the blueprint of the filehouse and already have a way figured out" I told jacob sir.

"You need to act fast, They are going to move the files this week, you need to get it before Thursday"

"Is there any way we could get it from your side?"

"We can't afford to let them know that the Intelligence group is following them, If surya corporation suspects anything, They are going to act, They have spies in our department too"

"Yes"I said "this is my secret mission, I will find a way out"I promised.

If I'm not careful, Narayan's men are going to act and destroy the case files.

"Careful, karthik,If you are caught during the operation, You will have to face the consequences"

"I know sir" I said "I will be careful"

"We have one more guy to join us" father announced and everyone looked confused.

"Who's it?" Abiram asked.

The door opened again a police officer came inside.

"It's SI Thomas mathew" Mahesh smiled as he came inside.

"Tell us the progress about the Varsha-shahid hunt" Father asked him as soon as he took his seat.

"Give me one day's time" He said "I have set the trap for shahid and varsha everywhere, they cannot avoid it"

"Shahid is dangerous to us, He know what we were planning, keep it in mind"

"I will be happy to help you with the girl" Mahesh added "it was my mistake that she slipped out of my hand last time, but this time I will take care of her quietly" he added.

"Don't mess it up anymore" ragav sir said "this is better handled by our men"He said, looking at father.

"Look at vijay, he's still hospitalised and under custody"  Mahesh said "he couldn't even take care of one injured man and that girl"

"I will take care of Shahid" Abiram spoke up "he escaped twice already, I will take care of him personally this time"

Father looked at me.

"What about finding his daughter?" he asked me.

"I am still on it, shahid hid her well" I said "I already checked their surroundings and they don't have a lot of people around them"

"Shahid is clever, it will be difficult to find his daughter" prathab said "it took a lot of time for us to trap him the first time, we had to kidnap his wife"

"Yes, but his daughter is the only thing we have now, the only weakness he have is his family" Father said and everyone nodded.

"And this" he put a photo on the table "you will need to find more about her too, If we don't control her now, She's going to cause trouble"he said.

I took the photo and saw the picture of a young girl with thick rimmed glasses and shoulder length hair.

"The reporter who covered about our Ice factory?" I asked.

I had seen the news too. She was reporting about illegal business there.

"Yes" Father said "Reporter Trishana, she's creating trouble"

I put down the picture "I don't think she's worthy of my time, She's a reporter, Anyone can get her details if they want" I said "I will stick with finding Shahid's daughter now"

"I will be glad to search about her" Mahesh took her photo "I have one score to settle with her from maya case" He said

"Mahesh" Father looked at him sternly.

I too restrained myself from speaking up.

First maya case, Then Varsha, Now he wants to take care of that reporter!

"I won't mess it up" he said quickly "I am especially talented about finding about girls.. especially girls who have a temper like hers, leave it to me"

As soon as the meeting was over, I walked out. Karan was already waiting for me.

"Sir, these are the files you were asking for" karan showed me the files in his hand.

"Did you find them?" I asked him.

I was trying to locate Shahid's friends.

"No" he said "but you were right, shahid's daughter is with their friend and she's hiding" he confirmed my theory.

I was investigating it.since Shahid and Jasmine doesn't have any family members close to them, I suspected it would be one of their friends.

"Keep it down till we get their details, I don't want Abiram or Mahesh to mess it up again"

If they get involved,everything that could be done within minutes will become a burden.

"I understand" karan said

Trishana.

"Are you sure about this?" Nitin asked me again.

She nodded "This is the only way to protect them, I need to meet them"

"It could be dangerous" Nitin said.

"I know, But Shahid has gone out now and Varsha is alone in the apartment, Now is our chance"she said.

It's been a couple of days since we started to keep watch of the apartment shahid and varsha was hiding.

"If we don't warn them, They will get caught soon" I said.

"Okay, let's move then" Nitin took the camera and said.

"Wait" I said "Let me meet her" I said "She's been attacked by Mahesh suryanarayan and she will feel threatened if both of us go there, Let me handle this"

"But what if something bad happen-"

"I think she's alone there in that apartment, Don't worry" I reassured him "You need to look out for Shahid, signal me if he's coming back"

Nitin nodded "okay"

So I get down from the van and moved forward.

It's clever of them to hide in such a apartment where it's public and full of working people who don't even know their neighbours properly.

It looks like shahid has done his homework well before choosing to stay here.

But how long? Sooner or later they have to come out anyway.

I heard the clicking sound from the door and looked at the clock.

It's not time for Shahid to come back yet!

I raised up from the chair and moved to the kitchen, The only place where I knew the knives were and waited.

I watched as a dark figure moved across the room.

Trisha.

Thank God! It was an old model lock.

I had had my fair share of breaking in to get the news and exclusives, So it was easy for me to get in.

I know that varsha won't answer even if I was to press the bell.

The room was engulfed in darkness.There was no sign of anyone there.

"Anyone home?" I asked hesitantly, I don't want Varsha Abraham to get scared of me and I don't want to get attacked "I'm Trishana from-"

"Stop there" I heard her voice and stilled "I have a knife in my hand, Who are you? How did you get in here?"

"I am not here to attack you" I said quickly "I Am here to warn you and shahid-"

"Who are you? How do you know about us? Are you with police?" varsha sounded panicked and angry, She was moving near me and I took a step back and raised both of my hands slightly to show that I meant no harm.

"Look, calm down, put your knife away, I Am not with police and I am here to help you"

"Don't lie to me" varsha shouted and I took another step back, Now having second thoughts about entering here.

Varsha had been attacked before and it's quite normal for her to react like this.

"I am a reporter" I said quickly "I am here to help yo-" I stopped again as the light flooded the room.

I heard the click of something and turned around and I was shocked to see the tall towering guy in front of me, Pointing the gun straight at my head.

Where the hell is nitin?He was supposed to warn me!

"Shahid.." I whispered, All words left me as I watched his face, He was looking murderous, like he's going to kill me now.

"A reporter?" he said "sure, Let me see your identity card" He outstretched his hands and I shakily took it out, now feeling like a prey.

"I am..Iam here to help you, please trust me" my voice shook as Shahid was looking at the ID card.

"How did you find us?" Varsha moved towards Shahid and looked at me.

"I..I followed you from the hospital"

"What do you want?" Shahid dropped the Id card to the side and asked me "And how did you get in here?"

"Can you please lower your gun first,I will-"

"Answer me,Now!"Shahid shouted and I jerked, startled.

"Okay..Okay, I want your help to fight suryanarayan, I want to bring him down and I had no one with me, Until now" I said quickly and Both Shahid and varsha looked surprised "Um..I ..Am a reporter, I have my ways to get in" I added.

There..i told you what I want..well..even though it was not as successful as I would have liked.

They were still not convinced and I sighed.

"Look, If I really wanted to expose you, I could have done it before, I knew you were staying here and I waited about 48 hours to meet you, Do you really think I'm dangerous?" I asked and Shahid lowered his gun.

"What do you mean by that? You want to bring surya narayan down?" it was Varsha who asked.

I nodded "I was waiting for a long time now, I was following him and collecting evidences all these time, But no TV stations are ready to air it, Not even my own company" I said.

"Be seated" Shahid said and All of us lowered to the sofa, facing each other.

"Why do you want to bring him down?" Shahid asked, This time, more calmly.

"He trapped my dad and locked him in the jail" I said "he was the CEO of Truth Tv" I stopped "He..he was murdered the day before he was supposed to be released" I tried not to choke on my words.

Talking about it is still painful, But I need to convince them now.

"You can check with my story and confirm it" I added.

"Why did you think that We are going to help you?" Shahid asked again.

"Because you helped each other to escape from narayan, There is nothing in common between you than your hatred at surya group"

"Let's just say our goodbyes now, This is not some sort of secret club to fight against narayan and I can't trust you completely"

"We are moving today and you can't find us again" varsha spoke up "So don't try to follow us"

"You can't escape narayan without my help, It's a matter of time before you get caught"I spoke up.

"Leave now"

"Shahid, I can guess what happened to you and your family, And Varsha, you are considered as a wanted criminal who kidnapped Shahid now, The whole police department is looking out for you and narayan's men too" I said,desperate now.

"I will help you to clear your name, But you have to help me in this fight"

"What exactly do you want me to help you with?" Shahid asked me.

"I need informations-"

"I have no access to anything now, I can't even go near-"

"I told you, I will help you to clear your name"

Shahid was still looking like he's considering it as Varsha spoke up.

"I think she's right" she said "we can't go out without disguise and it will be better for us if she can help"

"Okay, Miss.Trishana, But prove it to me first, That we can trust you"

"How can I do it?"I asked "I am-"

"The files of Officer Ajith roy on surya corporation are still at the government file house" Shahid said "Now that they can't get hold of me, They will try to get it by all means" he said.

I nodded, I knew it too.

"I want you to stop them from taking it" he said.

"What!?"

"They are moving the files soon, make sure that the files are safe until it is moved" shahid said.

"How am I supposed to...Are you asking me to keep watch of it?"

"You are a reporter, Trishana, All I'm asking you is to do your job well, If you saw anyone trying to move the files, Use your camera and report it live"

"I can't report anything now, Iam ...um..suspended temporarily" I said.

They have taken disciplinary action against me for reporting about surya ice factory, A week suspension and two months salary cut.

"That's your problem, Ms.trishana, If I want to trust you, You need to stop surya group from stealing Ajith roy's investigation files" shahid said sternly "And the only way for it is to report it live"

"Okay, You just want me to stop them stealing the files,right?" I asked and he nodded "then we will talk after that" I said, Now praying that I will be as successful as I sound.

Okay..I can do this

I told myself as I moved towards the file house.

It's just a file, it's not like I am going to fight the armed guys, It will all be over within minutes.

I moved through the shadows.

I was dressed in black from head to foot, blending me to the darkness.

I was careful to avoid the sources of light and moved silently.

I pictured the blueprint of the filehouse in my head and stopped near the landmark.

Okay.. It's here, All I need to do is get inside there, Exchange the hard disk with the fake one and leave quietly.

Compared to all my missions, This is the easiest and shortest one.

I have already checked the details about the workers and the patterns of changes in security people too.

I opened my backpack and took out the wire rod and aimed at the rooftop.

As soon as it got engaged, I pulled to see that it is safe to climb up.

Within minutes, I reached the rooftop of the two story building and slide down the window like I had planned, So within minutes,I reached inside.

Whoa!That was faster than I expected!

Now...surveillance room..

According to my sources, there's only one man taking watch at night and I need to take care of him for me to deactivate the cctv-whoa!

I stopped short as I saw the guy sleeping in his chair.

I came out of the wall and looked around the monitors to see that everything looked dark.

Why is everything black?

I tiptoed near the guy carefully and deactivated everything just incase there was additional ones.

I looked at the wristwatch and moved quietly and stopped near the door that was leading to the file storage room.

Two of the guards are supposed to be here..I need to get inside after distracting them.

I waited like planned, But there seemed to be no one there.

What the heck! There's no one protecting the file house!?

I started to move through the lockers.

It was alphabetically placed and it was not hard to reach Ajith Roy files.

Okay..This is it..I need to get his hard disk and switch it with the duplicate one.

It was a piece of cake for me to open the locker.

Here we go..

I opened it and stilled.

What the!

It was totally empty.

And then it started make sense.

I closed it back and hurried outside.

Someone was here before me!

I stopped near the CCTV area and confirmed my theory when I spotted the black paint sprayed across the camera.

That explains why the monitors were black!

They must've taken care of everything before entering here!

I started to run out and moved to the wall as I finally found someone moving through the dark.

He moved slowly and steadily through dark until reached near me.

He was dressed in full black, Just like me and I assessed my enemy.

he was hurrying outside.

It's now or never.

I moved out of cover and blocked his path.

"Give it to me" I whispered and the guy stepped back, Clearly startled.

"Give it to me and I won't hurt you" I said again.

He had a small frame and about a foot smaller than me, In terms of physical strength, I Am sure I can overpower him easily.

I looked at his eyes through his mask and saw that he has assessed the situation too.

The guy raised up the bag to me slowly and I outstretched my hands.

Next thing I know, The guy attacked me with surprise and I moved away to avoid it instinctively. The guy missed his step and slammed to the wall.

Trishana.

I saw two figures struggling and watched as nitin started to record.

Both of us were hiding in a safe corner of the garden of file house as we watched the fight.

Shahid was right!Narayan's men are here to take away the files!

But it looks like they are fighting!

"Trisha, Something is wrong" Nitin told me in a whisper and I nodded.

"Stay right here and record everything, I will go and take a closer look" I said.

"Whatever happens, don't abandon your cover" he warned me and I nodded.

Aditi.

I was slammed to the wall in force and turned around in shock.

I looked at guy in mask who was covered in black, just like me.

"I warned you" he took two steps and took my hand in force.

I started to struggle, but he was too powerful, I knew it instantly that I am no match for him.

He bend my hand backwards, with force and slammed me against the wall, His body slammed to me, Sandwiching me to the wall.

"Aah" I couldn't help it as i cried out in pain.

For a moment, he seemed taken aback, he hesitated.

"You..You are a girl!" He sounded surprised for a moment and he loosened the grip slightly.

"Aditi..Are you okay? Are you there?" I heard adithya's voice through the earpiece and tried to push the guy away.

"Where's the hard disk?" My captor refused to let go of me "This is the last time I am asking you nicely" he warned again "I don't care if you are a girl or not"

"I can't hear you..Aditi..If you are hearing me, you should get out now, Narayan's people are here, reach our safety spot in five minutes, I will be there" aditya's voice disconnected.

The fight with the guy have ruined the earpiece somehow.

Narayan's people?

Then who is this guy!?

"Let me go" I stared at the guy.

"Hard disk" he said.

Is he really not one of narayan's men then?

Five minutes, I only have five minutes to escape.

I Slammed my head to his chest, but he moved away to avoid the collision.

I was well trained in martial arts and I was surprised that he could avoid my attacks.

He's no normal guy..

I started to struggle and the guy gripped both of my hands on either side, His body blocked me and I was practically imprisoned.

I could feel his muscles pressing to me and his breath fanning on my forehead.

"Move back" I ordered angrily.

"I warned you" he twisted my hands again and I started to feel the pain.

So I did the only thing I could do, I leaned forward and bite him hard infront of me.

His body felt like a muscle mass and I am sure it's painful.

"You-" he let go of me in pain and I sprinted away.

But next thing I know, the bloody guy stretched out his leg and I tripped and fell down.

He reached near me and lifted me up by my jacket.

"Game over,puppy" he said "Hand me the disk"

"No!" I kicked him and he held me down.

"Let's see..What's happening here?"

Both of us froze as we heard the new voice.

The new guy was gigantic, About double the size of both of us.

Nakulan! Mahesh surya narayan's most cruel goon.

I realised in shock and tried to get up.

The guy seemed to have decided that the giant was more threatening than me, Because he was already on his feet, Facing the gigantic man.

"Who are you? Who sent you here?" Nakulan took a step forward and took a fist full of my attacker's cloth.

I looked at him.

So he's not narayan's man?

He snapped away Nakulan hand off him.

"Move" he ordered.

"You are ordering me?!" Nakulan started to punch him and the guy ducked and at the same time brought his fist up, Getting Nakulan straight in the chest.

Whaterver...I need to get out of here.

I took that moment to escape, But the guy somehow managed to pull me back.

"Not too fast, puppy"he said before taking the hard disk from me forcefully.

"Give it back to me" I shouted and lunged at him and both of us flew back and fell down.

Nakulan was on his feet again, looking murderous.

"You dare to touch me?" Nakulan punched my attacker again, who rolled back and kicked him this time.

A furious Nakulan bend down and raised him up by the collar.

"I am going to kill you" he roared as the hard disk slipped and fell down from his hand.

And I crawled and took it out of the floor.

My attacker was still hung in the air by the giant and he tried to swing his leg, but he was slammed down to the floor by the giant.

I decided to take advantage of the fight and started to get away as Nakulan turned to me.

I missed the first punch by inches, But I was not as lucky with the second one, It got me straight in the middle and and I was thrown back to the floor in force.

I lost my breath as I was slammed to the compound wall at the backyard. The hard disk fell down and my body followed it.

I couldn't even move as Nakulan walked to me.

"Give it to me!" Nakulan shouted and I refused to give him the disk, I tightened my hands around it, crawled on top of it and laid there.

"I will teach you a lesson now"Nakulan took out an iron rod and swung it across me.

I am going to die.
