Whoa! It's a first time for me, That one of my "case" is approaching me!!

"Are you alright?" I looked in her eyes and she stared straight back "Ms?..."

"Um..yeah..yes..I am okay" she snapped out of  shock and tried to move out of my hands.

I wanted to avoid you, But here you are...

"Easy" I helped her to the feet "You look lost. Are you alone?"

I saw my employee's were staring at me, Probably to see me out of the private zone.

The manager was hurrying to me, looking worried at my wine spilled dress and I gave him just one stare, commanding him to leave me alone now and he froze in his steps, I turned to trishana who hadn't noticed the exchange as she looked nervous.

"Um..I was looking for my friend, It look like she is not here yet" she said quickly.

"That's good then" I said and she raised her eyebrows at me "I mean..I was ditched by my friend too, Do you want to move to a quiet corner?" I asked her "It's too loud here"

She stared at me. I bet she was not expecting that

Come on..I Am giving you a chance to be with me, You should be happy that I am helping you out here.

She seemed to be thinking along the same line, Because she smiled beautifully.

"Why not" She said.

I started to escort her through the dancing couples.

"This way, I have my own place here" I guided her.

We were nearly there when one of the guys backed to her.

She took a step backward unconsciously and slammed to me for the second time that night.

I placed my hand around her and moved her out of the way.

"Careful" I said and looked down to see her pressed to me, Her soft body was delicious against me and tried to look unaffected.

I was still surprised that I am actually holding Trishana inside my hands.

She had a surprised look in her face, But she was still frozen inside my hands.

Trisha.

I was frozen the moment he wrapped his hands around and turned me around to protect me from the other guy.

I found myself pressed along the hard wall of his frame and had no idea how I ended up there a second time.

I know I should take a step back and move away. I know I need to flee. But what made me transfixed to the spot was his eyes.

He was looking down at me with so much intensity that I felt like he could read me, It feel like he could see right through me.

And I was shocked to feel the sudden accelerated beating of my own heart and the sparks around me.

"You okay?" he asked me slowly and and I moved back, Annoyed at myself.

"Um..yea" I corrected my dress and said.

"Good" He said and let go of me.  "follow me, It's better this way" he lead the way this time and I closely followed him.

Shweta said he is not easy to deal with! But he looks fine.

"I am Arjun surya narayanan, I am a lawyer" he introduced himself as soon as we reached the well furnishe area  "I am very glad to meet you Ms..." he offered his hands.

As much as I wanted to punch him in the face, I tried my best to give him a sweet smile.

"Sanjana" I introduced myself "sanjana saxena" I said more confidently.

Something flashed across his eyes, he looked rather amused.

"Sanjana.." he said slowly, like testing my name and nodded "it's nice to meet you, Sanjana" he smiled.

It was rather disturbing to see him smile.

I mean..I know I hate him..but he's making me feel...um..different?..Arg..I dunno!

Careful trisha, one wrong move and you are done for, His smile is fake. He is the one who is responsible for all those crimes.

My face must've hardened because he looked at me concerned.

"Is something wrong?" he asked me.

I relaxed my face instantly "I..um..I am sorry about your shirt" I said as I tried to search for an interesting topic "I..am willing to clean it for you if you want me to-" I stopped as he raised his eyebrows.

Great trisha, That was such an engaging topic!

"I mean..it looks expensive, I can buy it for you"

"I can't let a beautiful girl worried about a shirt, take it easy" he smiled charmingly and I got angry instantly.

Of course you don't have to worry about a shirt even if it cost a fortune, You are making enough money with your dirty work, You are killing the weak and living a luxurious life.

I tried to keep a normal face.

I watched her in wonder.

It's clear that she dont like me, She is trying her best to keep me engaged, Like now, She is talking about the classical music-The only music I ever listen to, And I must admit, That she's good in that.

I guess shweta must have given her a very good details on me.

But then even shweta don't know that the person who likes that music is actually my mom, I just listen to it whenever I miss her.

So I just sat there, Enjoying the whole thing, I never had fun like this for a long time now.

"You know what! We are a lot similar" I smiled "it looks like we are fated to meet!" I said and took her hand.

I saw the annoyance flash through her eyes, the bright smile was still lit up on her face, But I didn't miss the seconds reaction.

It's really intriguing to watch her do this, I especially liked to see her get angry.

"What a coincidence" She exclaimed "We really have similar tastes" She lied as she corrected her watch a sixth time-A habit, I realised now, that she did every time she lied to me about something.

"You are interesting" I said truthfully "I have met a lot of girls, You are different from them" I said "I am really happy that I ran to you here" I said, meaning every word "It's quite a surprise to meet someone so refreshing" I stopped.

There it is again, The little annoyance, She's getting annoyed whenever I am complimenting her!

I smiled.

"Thank you" She was taking her best "sweet" smile as she replied "so do I" She said "I am happy to meet you too" she said.

Suddenly, I wanted something more, I wanted to see that annoyance on her face, The temper she's trying to hide.

I want to test her limit.

I raised up from my chair.

"Sanjana" I said "Can I have this dance?" I asked her and she looked startled.

"But I thought...you don't like dancing?" She hesitated.

"Who told you that?" I raised my eyebrows at her and she bit her lip and looked down, Unhappy about the slip.

"Um..I just assumed that because the club is too crowded and-"

"Then you assumed wrong" I pulled her up by her hands and tried to hide my chuckle as I saw the flashing anger in her eyes.

"Come on" I started to pull her along as I walked out.

We stopped at the empty balcony.

"Now, we are alone" I said "Since we somehow ended up together, let's enjoy the night"

Her eyes widened as she stopped in front of me.

I pulled her to me, May be a little more close than necessary, But I don't care since she was smelling great and she felt good.

She looked helpless for a moment.

"I..I am not a good dancer" She said and I gave her my charming smile.

"No worries, Let me lead you" I placed her hands around my shoulder and our eyes met.

Electricity sparkled again and she quickly looked away.

"Good" I said, clearing my throat "let me hold you now" I placed my hands on her waist, causing her to look up at me again.

The air between us changed and The attraction between us was undeniable.

"I..I can't hear the music, I feel ridiculous to-"

She stopped as I moved.

Even though there was no music, We found the rhythm within us.

And I watched her in the dimly lit balcony.

She looked alluring, I would admit that.

"Uh..sorry" She lost her footing and I held her closer.

"No problem"

"Can we stop...I don't want to embarrass myself anymore" She looked up at me.

I chuckled.

"I find it cute" I smiled and watched the anger back in her eyes and my smile widened "you are different from all others, I find you cute" I repeated.

Yes, I find her cute, I don't know whose idea was it to send her for seducing me, But She was good and I doubt anyone else would recognise her true self.

As for me, She is my case and he doesn't know that, So the whole thing was amusing to me.

"Sanjana?"

"Mmm?"

"You are stepping on my foot"

"Uh..sorry!" She tried to move back and I placed my hand behind her, Bringing her back to me.

"Hey! Arjun-" She stopped as she noticed the closeness between us, She froze and both of us stared at each other.

It was only for a fleeting moment, a millisecond, I suddenly wanted to close the distance between us.

And it look like she is aware of the tension between us too, I could see it in her eyes.

So I bend my head slightly and Her eyes closed. My heart was hammering inside me as I closed the dista-

"Whoa! Sorry to bother you" Someone said from the door.

And the moment was gone.

Trisha practically jumped back and maintained a good few feet away from me, looking flustered.

She really is cute!

"I heard that Arjun brought a girl here"

I turned back to the owner of the annoying voice.

Natasha!

Or you could say that she's my stalker.

"Meet sanjana" I nodded to her "Sanjana, This is natasha, one of my friends" I introduced.

Both the girls shook hands, glaring at each other.

Natasha probably angry that I have shown interest in a female and sanjana-As I would like to call her now, Because Natasha looked like a threat in her plan.

I tried to hide my chuckle.

I cleared my throat and turned to them.

"Can we move inside now?" I looked at sanjana and she nodded with a smiled.

"I will see you Natasha" I nodded to her and guided sanjana back inside.

Soon  it was time for her to leave and both of us walked outside.

I escorted her to the fancy car she was driving and opened the door for her.

"Drive safe" I smiled and she nodded.

"Thank you" she said as she got inside.

"And sanjana.." I bend down to her level and looked at her through the window as she looked back "can I have your number?" I asked boldly "I would like to meet you again"

She looked taken aback for a moment, But then smiled brightly.

"I would like to meet you too" She said, And corrected her watch for the umpteenth time that night.

I smiled and offered her my phone. she took it and punched her number in it.

"Drive safe" I nodded to her and she smiled back.

Trisha.

I drive straight to Uncle prakash house.

We have decided to meet with everyone there, Shahid and varsha was already waiting there.

Soon everyone reached and gathered around in the living room. I took a glass of cold water and sat there.

"It went well" I said as soon as I sat there "He was not too difficult like shweta said, Besides, He was easy to get along"

"May be he had loosened up after drinking?" varsha asked.

"It didn't look like he was drunk" I said "But it was too difficult for me to act like..Act lovingly" I said

"You hates him, no wonder there" karthik said.

"After you left, He returned back to his place and never appeared back" Aditya said.

"But I like it when you made the first meeting a coincidence" Aditi said "It looked so natural-"

"I didn't do it on purpose, it really was an accident, I was looking around for him and bumped straight to him" I said. "I was startled to see him in front of me all of a sudden, It looked like he was there for his drink"

"We need to arrange another "coincidence" then" Karthik said.

"He's a genius, we have to plan carefully"

"Instead of making it a coincidence, I can contact him directly" I held up my phone "I got his number"

"What! You managed to get his number already?" Adithya asked.

"He was the one who asked me for my number, He said he would like to see me again"

Everyone looked taken aback for a moment.

"Why do I feel like...something is off?" karthik said slowly "He is behaving entirely opposite to that of what shweta said"

"May be he really felt attracted to her?" Varsha said "look at her, She looks gorgeous, I have put my best effort to get her ready"

"Let's be careful" shahid said "let's take our time and think about the next step slowly"

Everyone nodded.

Arjun narayan, Unlike Abiram and Mahesh, There Is something different about him.

He has an powerful aura around him and He looked genuinely interested in me.

I have learnt psychology, Arjun was indeed attracted to me, I could see that, But along with that, There was something else in his character..

when he held me closer, I didn't feel disgusted, It almost felt familiar and safe...what's wrong with me?

No man has ever held me close like he had done today, And he almost..bend his head towards me...was he going to kiss me?..no..there's no way-

"Trisha?"

I snapped out of it and  looked around to realise that  everyone was staring at me.

"Is anything wrong, you look...tensed" shahid asked me.

"Guys, He's our enemy, I don't think that I can act lovingly for a long time...and I really don't want to get..you know, Intimate with him, So we have only limited time" I said.

Karthik chuckled.

"Don't worry about this" he said "we already discussed about this" he said

"We don't want you to get too close to him, He's not worth it" Aditya said and shahid nodded.

"Then-"

"It's like this" Varsha said "when two people are dating, it has three stages, The first one is the "Getting to know each other stage"; where it will be a little awkward, Then comes the "Couple's phase" were both the party are attracted and the third stage is when you are "committed to each other",  and yea, Getting intimate and physical come along with this" she said.

"So in our case, we will wait until the second phase and if things are not going the way we planned,We will break it off" Aditi added.

I nodded, now relieved.

Arjun.

"I nearly had a heart attack, but it look like you were enjoying the whole time" karan said and I chuckled.

We were driving back.

"Of course" I said "I can't believe that she dressed up for me" I said "She even forged a new identity, I checked it and everything look perfect" I said.

"That means.."

"That means she has good back up" I said.

"Sir, now that we know a lot about them, Why are we not going after them?" he said.

"Like I said before, I want to use them to get rid of Abiram" I said "Just like mahesh was cut off, They will take down Abiram too, it's a win-win situation for us"

"But I feel like they are targeting you instead of Abiram now" he said

I laughed.

"Don't worry, She can't do anything to me, shweta must have given them a good report on me, So all she will be doing will be trying to get close to me, She is eying the files I have on surya group"

"Then what are we going to do sir?" karan asked.

"I tried my best to stay away from her, But this time, it's her who started this" I said.

I wanted her to be safe, But now I know that she will never give up, If I expose this plan of her's , She will start with something else, Or she will go after Abiram then, Whatever it is, I feel this is better, This way, I can keep an eye on her too.

"What do you mean sir?"

"Since she want to get close to me this desperately, I will allow her to do exactly that" I told karan "But once she started the game, I will be the one to control it"

"I don't understand" karan said "her friends are not to be underestimated-"

"Just wait and see karan,I have got this under control" I told him.

He still looked unconvinced, but nodded anyway.

I have seen a lot of girls trying to impress me, But it's the first time a girl is trying to win me over just because of her hatred.

She really intrigue me!

I turned back to the road while karan took a right turn.

I wanted to kiss her today, the feelings were so strong that I almost acted upon it.

May be it is a good thing that Natasha interfered or I would have startled trishana..

No..not trishana..it's sanjana..now.

It's been two days since I met him.

We already have another plan.

"Call him" Aditya said and everyone nodded.

My heart started to accelerate just at the thought of talking to him.

What's wrong with me!? why am I nervous to talk to him?

I have even made a deal with narayan personally!

"Okay" I nodded and pressed the dial button.

The call was on speaker mode and everyone was listening intently.

Just when I thought that he's not going to pick up, he answered the call.

"Hello?" I said reluctantly "Arjun, I don't know if you remember me, I am sanjana, we met at-"

"Sanjana, what a pleasant surprise" he said "of course I remember you" he said "So what happened?" he asked me "your call is very unexpected"

"Um..Can we meet in person? I have something to give you" I said

"Something to give me?" he asked back "Sanjana, Are you asking me out? Do you already miss me?" He asked me good naturally, But I got angry instantly.

"No!" I said shortly and every pair of eyes around me looked at me in warning, reminding me my task "uh..I mean..it's not that, I..I spilled the wine on your shirt, So it's only right that I get a new one for you" I said.

There was silence at the other end.

"That is unnecessary" he said "You shouldn't-"

"But I already got it for you" I insisted quickly "I will feel bad if I owe you this debt" I added. "So can I meet you?" I asked him.

"Wouldn't it be convenient for you to send it me?" He asked.

"Um..I just reached here in india recently, I dunno much places here, Besides, You are one of the very few people who I know here" I said and everyone around me nodded appreciatively.

"Then let's meet at the nightclub, how about 8 in the evening, I Really can't be free before that" he said.

"Eight it is then" I smiled successfully. "I will see you then" I disconnected the call.

"Not bad trisha" karthik said "But he sounded rather...playful..I mean.." he dragged off.

"I sensed it too" Aditya nodded "It was like he is.. interested in you?"

"This fast?" I asked them.

"That's right, Let's see anyway, if he is really interested in you, that makes our job a lot easier" shahid said.

"He was ready to meet you personally, that shows he's interested" varsha agreed.

"We will know today, let's see" Aditi said.

She got me a shirt?

I smiled and looked at my schedule that was already packed.

I pressed the intercom and karan came inside.

"Help me cancel the dinner date with the investor"

"Why? You Don't have any free schedule this week-"

"Something important came up" I told him "I won't be available after 8"

"Is it..trishana again?" he looked at me doubtfully "you never cancelled your work schedule before"

"It's not trishana, it's sanjana" I laughed at karan's expression.

"What are you planning to do sir?"He asked me skeptically.

"Nothing much" I said. "I plan to help her succeed in her plan" I chuckled.

"Take care sir, I have worked for her, She really is different, Don't fall for her too hard, Your father will never allow it"

"Fall for her? Karan, This whole game is within my hands now" I said.

"The way I see it, You are already too deep" Karan muttered.

"I can still hear you" I looked at him. He just smiled and walked out.

I leaned back to the chair.

It's true that I am attracted to her, I can't deny it..But the way I see it, She's reciprocating my feelings, She was responding to me even without her realising it!

I wonder what happens if it's the other way around..
