After the tour we finally settled in.

"Thanks again Mizu."
Chivel smiled warmly to their cousin.

"Of course. We as kin look after each other."
Mizu smiled back, then Mizu turned to me.

"I hope you're taking care of Chivel well, and I will fix Rewind in no time."
Mizu reassured me.

"T..thanks."
I smiled.

Mizu nodded and shut the door behind him.

I suddenly felt sharp pain in my chest, I groaned as I curled up into a ball.

"Are you okay GM? Is it another Z.E.P episode?"
Chivel hurried over to me.

"N..no? I don't think so.."
I groaned.

"It's okay I'm here,"
Chivel sat down next to me.

"Sorry GM, are you alright?"
Expurge asked,

"Oh where have you been!?"

"Silently watching."

"So do you not feel ARGH-"
My chest felt like it was being stabbed.

"Sorry that's me, I'm trying something,"

"Excuse me!? What are you doing!?"

"Oh don't worry this just came loose."

"What came loose?!"

"This."
I felt something inside me split in two,

"AHHHHHH-"
I screamed in pain.

The pain went away quickly though.

"You okay-?"
Chivel asked.

"Yeah..I'm fine..-"
I sighed sitting up.

Chivel's eyes widened as they stood up and made a defensive position.

"Chivel? Are you okay?"
I asked.

Chivel was narrowing their eyes at something. I turned around, and there was Expurge, in the flesh.

"What the heck are you!?"
Chivel hissed, wrapping their tail around me protectively.

"Oh I didn't mean to startle you."
Expurge sat down.

"Don't come near us!"
Chivel growled.

"Wait wait, Chivel it's okay that's just Expurge!"
I stepped in front of Chivel.

"Expurge? This...this thing has a name?!"
Chivel slowly inspected Expurge.

"Yes, he's the annoying part of me inside my brain."
I huffed.

"Yes, and GM talks a lot about-hmMMhNmMMm"
I covered Expurge's mouth before he could say more.

"So, this guy's been living in your head rent free?"
Chivel crossed their arms sternly.

"I guess you could say that, the question is what the heck did you do!?"
I yelped at Expurge.

"What, your soul was loose, and Japan has the most powerful energy allowing me to take a part of your soul turning it into my body,"
Expurge huffed.

"I also haven't seen the world in ages,"
Expurge stretched, after seeing me and Chivel's expression.

"Is there more of a reason?"
I asked, he's probably up to no good.

"Fine, I sense danger and you're not ready to fight it.happy?"
Expurge growled his ears twitching in irritation.

"What kind of danger though?"
I rolled my eyes.

"I can't tell you that,"
Expurge growled.

"Is it that?"
Chivel asked, pointing at someone wearing black and neon yellow clothing.

"Definitely."
Expurge stood up.

"Alright let's go!"
I dragged Chivel with me outside,

"Not.."
Expurge sighed.

I raced through the city, neon lights, food stands, games, and more were everywhere.

"Where are we going to find this mystery person?"
Chivel asked, looking around.

"Help! They shoplifted!"
A man shouted and pointed at a weird green creature.

"Okayyy let's go help them!"
I rushed to the commotion but Chivel stopped me.

"Look-!"
The mystery person grabbed the green creature.

"Let go of the pot Kappa."
The mystery person said in an intimidating tone.

The creature known as a Kappa dropped a pot which was filled with jewelry.

"Good, store your treasure with these instead."
The mystery person gave the Kappa a large green bag.

The kappa stored all the gold and jewelry in the bag and jumped happily.

"How could you help Yokai!? They're dangerous!"
A voice yelled.

"You should've killed them!"
Another yelled.

More voices shouted with the disagreement of the mystery person's desicsons.

"You should know Yokai dwell in these streets, they were here before us, if you don't understand Yokai, you won't understand the world."
The mystery said coldly before leaping away.

"After them!"
Then a bunch of people started to chase the person.

"We have to help them, let's go!"
Chivel rushed ahead.

We stopped where a crowd of people were laying on the ground.

The mystery person was fighting another person on top of a rooftop.

"You should've stayed buried, Enkindle!"
The cat-like person hissed.

"I could say the same Animosity!"
The mystery person who was known as Enkindle was parrying every move of the cat-person who was known as Animosity.

Animosity managed to make Enkindle lose their balance as they fell down, they grabbed the roof.

"Looks like I won this time."
Animosity chuckled.

"No you didn't,"
Enkindle was being surrounded by yellow sparks before electricity was shot at Animosity.

"ARGH-"
Animosity scrambled away in pain.

Enkindle swung themselves back into the roof safely.

Enkindle sang a certain tune before leaving the scene.

"I feel...energized, and what just happened, it's like I can't remember part of it,"
Chivel stretched. And all the people awoke too.

"Where are we... let's head back."
Then all the people left.

"That's odd.."
I murmured scratching my head, I can't seem to remember The Whole thing.

"It's like they don't remember anything."
Chivel huffed.

"Let's just go that's enough investigating today,"
I pulled Chivel away from the crowd quickly and returned home.
