After a long long time of exploring the beautiful world of Japan it was time to head up to the mountains to meet Chivel's cousin.

"So why won't you tell me their name?"

"Because, they like to have a dramatic entrance."
Chivel rolled their eyes smiling.

"Like how dramatic?"

"To be honest I don't remember, it's been 2 years since I've seen them."
Chivel shrugged.

"Unless I'm thinking of a different cousin."
Chivel mumbled.

"How many cousins do you have?"

"Uhhhhhhhhh 8. No 9- nope it's definitely 7."
Chivel replied.

"7!?"
I gasped.

"Yeah, demon kin blood thingy."
Chivel hopped onto the rocks to avoid being wet.

"Are we there yet?"
I asked as I also hopped on the rocks.

"Not yet."
Chivel answered.

"Are we there yet?"
I asked again when we passed a waterfall.

"Not yet."
Chivel chuckled.

"Are we there yet?"
I asked again as we passed many bamboos.

"Almost."
Chivel trotted up the small hill-like path.

Cherry blossom trees then appeared on the path, and the bamboo disappeared slowly.

"Are we-"

"Yep."
Chivel interrupted me.

"Oh goodie."
I looked at a tall wall, which had a tall traditional house over the distance.

I knocked on the large wooden doors.

The doors opened slowly.

There stood a blue demon with orange freckles, wearing some traditional clothes.

"Greetings. I'm Odayakana mizu"
The demon introduced themself as they bowed down respectfully.

"That's an awfully long name.."
I whispered.

The demon chuckled.
"If you'd like you may call me Odayakana, or Mizu."

"Oh alright Mizu it is..Hey, are demon names always this long?"
I whispered to Chivel.

Chivel shrugged with a smile.

"Please come inside, my partner Hokori raion will make you some tea."
Mizu let us in.

"Long names."
Chivel whispered before I could.

"Yeah"
I giggled.

Inside

"Otōto Chivel, it's been a while since we've met."
Mizu sat down on a low table covered in cloth elegantly.

Chivel sat down properly too. I assumed I had to as well, so I copied Chivel.

"Yes, but I am thankful I am here in your presence as well."
Chivel spoke formally.

"Koibito, some tea?"
A tall fluffy hybrid dog demon with scarred eyes entered the room with a tray of tea.

"No thank you Hokori."
Mizu declined the tea.

"Are you sure Mizu? It's my special tangerine tea."
Hokori leaned down a bit.

"Alright I suppose, thank you Koibito."
Hokori laid the trat down on the table. Then Hokori nuzzled Mizu before sitting down next to Mizu.

"So, what brings you here?"
Mizu asked, grabbing the cup of tea gently.

"Oh, allow me to introduce you to GM, they're my friend."
Chivel looked at me with a smile.

"I-it's a pleasure to meet you Mizu."
I replied shyly.

"Ah you've brought a new companion."
Mizu smiled.

"It's a pleasure to meet you too, I am Hokori raion, Odayakana mizu's partner, but call me Hokori. I am a friend to all."
Hokori smiled, introducing himself properly.

"GM and I seek help repairing something."
Chivel explained.

"Is this a machine?"
Hokori asked.

"Yes..well not exactly, they're part machine."
Chivel looked at me, I nodded and took out the bag with Rewind's remains.

Hokori inspected Rewind for a moment.

"This is salvageable, but it will take time."
Hokori nodded.

"Yes, do you have a place to stay?"
Mizu asked.

"Unless you count going back on the 25-"

"21 hour."
Chivel interrupted me.

I cleared my throat.
"21 hour train ride back home."

"Hmm, Koibito can't they stay here for a while? They can enjoy the sights of Japan."
Hokori suggested.

"Alright, we can give them a spare room."
Mizu smiled and kissed Hokori's head.

"I will go find a room then, I will be right back."
Mizu smiled nuzzling Mizu, then walked away into a different room.

"Alright Koibito."
Mizu smiled.

"You seem happy together."
Chivel smiled.

"Yes, Hokori is very kind, he brings me lots of joy. I don't know what I'll do without him."
Mizu sighed happily.

"Come let me give you a tour for your friend. You can get lost easily without navigation here."
Mizu stood up and slid the door behind him letting me and Chivel enter the hallways.
