"I've got a surprise for you children."
Rewind came in the room with a gadget.

"Hey we're teenagers!"
Crepitate jokes.

"Would you rather me saying, 'I've got a surprise for you teenagers?'"
Rewind asked, putting the gadget on the table we were sitting on.

"No-"
Crepitate had a brain fart at the moment, I laughed at him. I then glanced at Chivel, Chivel caught my glance and looked away.

Strange.

"Anyways, tell us. what is it?"
Crepitate spreads his green and pink wings.

"Alright calm down, this is a lie detector I've been working on, I thought you'd be happy to test it out."
Rewind offered flipping a few switches.

"Will it hurt us if we lie?"
Crepitate asked with excientment.

Rewind chuckled.

"Of course."
Crepitate's face widened with energy.

"Not."
Rewind finished.

Crepitate's face turned into disappointment.

"Aw."

"It's just a normal lie decorator, have fun with it. But if you want to spice things up-"
Rewind walked over to the cabinet and tossed a red bottle to Crepitate.

"You could use a bit of this."
I looked over to see the red bottle labeled 'lava sauce'.

"Ha, I like your style, made a pun even 'spic things up', hot sauce. Nice."
Crepitate leaned on his chair smiling, while his tail swished slowly.

"Have fun now."
Rewind left the room with the lie detector.

"You know what time it is?"
Crepitate looked at me with a smug smile.

"Oh yessss."
I smugly smiled back.

"I'll start!"
Crepitate chuckled.

"Put the lie on Game!"
Crepitate exclaimed.

"What no!"
I giggled.

"No. I'll go."
Chivel sighed.

Me and Crepitate looked at each other.

"Side bar!"
Crepitate grabbed me and faced away from Chivel.

"They're being weird."
Crepitate whispered.

"Yeah no kidding Crep."
I glanced at Chivel waiting.

"Let's just do this"
I said before grabbing Crepitate back.

"Alright then!"
Crepitate attached a glove attached to a wire around Chivel.

"Question time! If you lie, it's hot sauce time!"
Crepitate swung the hot sauce in the air.

Chivel nodded.

"Four questions per person in each round I'll ask two and Game will ask two let's start!"
Crepitate smiled.

"Have you killed anyone?"
Crepitate started.

"Crep!"
I smacked his head.

"OuCH-"
Crepitate hissed in surprise.

"Yeah."
Chivel responded casually.

The lie detector's button turned red.

"That's a lieeeeeee!"
Crepitate laughed awkwardly.

"I know."
Chivel smiled.

"Then why'd you lie now you have to drink the sauce!"
I laughed a little.

"I wanna try it but no more questions. I have a few for Crep."
I made eye contact with Crepitate again and shrugged.

"O-okay."
I gave the hot sauce to Chivel, Chivel absolutely devoured the whole thing without a problem.

"Wh-WHAT?!"
Crepitate banged his claws on the table.

"Your turn Crep."
Chivel took the glove off them as a drip of sauce fell down from their mouth.

I helped Chivel attach the glove.

"I'll go first if that's okay."
I smiled.

"Sure anyth- sure."
Chivel stammered a little on their words.

"Crepitate..."
I sat down menacingly.

"Yes GM?"
Crepitate menacingly smiled back.

"ARE YOU THE ONE STEALING MY RINGS!?"
I'd yell jokingly.

"WHAT OF COURSE NOT-"
the the lie detector button turned red once more.

"WHERE DID YOU HIDE THEM!?"
I screeched.

"UNDER THE PILLOW-"
Crepitate screeched back as the button turned green.

"Alright! Your turn GM."
Crep took the glove off and attached it to me.

Chivel growled a bit but shook their head.

"Have you killed anyone?"
Crepitate asked.

"Oh my goodness what's up with murder?"
I rolled my eyes nervously.

"That doesn't answer the questions~!!!"
Crepitate sang.

"Fine..."
I rubbed my claws gently.

Silence.

"Yes I've killed someone, a few times actually."
I finally said.

The button turned green. Crepitate and Chivel looked at me with wide eyes.

"Did...did you do it for a good reason?"
Chivel asked.

"Of course, I was trying to protect someone."
I sighed sitting back in my chair. The button turns green again.

"Oh thank satan."
Chivel sighed.

"What? Would you have been friends with me if I did it purposely?"
I crossed my arms sternly.

"No I would've just thought you were one of those psychopath friends I had."
Chivel simply answered.

"Alright, who's next?"
Crepitate rubbed his claws together.

"I didn't ask the question I wanted to."
Chivel sat up in their chair.

I took the glove off and attached it to Crepitate, but Crepitate seemed nervous as they swallowed.

"Do you hate angels..?"
Chivel asked as their tail swayed quietly.

"Yes-!"
Crepitate shouted as the buzzer turned red.

Crepitate stood up a bit but Chivel pinned their claws down.

"Do you work for the Angels?"
Chivel narrowed their eyes.

"No."
The button turned red again.

"Are you a demon yourself?!"
Chivel starts to shout.

"Yes!"
Crepitate shook in fear as tears ran down through his eyes.

"That's enough Chivel."
I stood up.

"Are you carrying anything made out of angels?!"
Chivel gripped his claws harder.

"No-!"
The button turned red again, Crepitate is desperately trying to flee.

"That's enough Chivel!"
I raised my voice.

"Are you an angel then!?"

"No!"
The button turned green. I used my defend card and let one of my claws grab Chivel's wrist.

"THAT'S ENOUGH CHIVEL!"
I screamed, throwing Chivel onto the couch.

"What is wrong with you!? You're making Crep uncomfortable!"
I questioned Chivel.

"ANGEL FREAK!"
Chivel hissed at Crepitate.

Crepitate wrapped their wings around himself covering his face. When ever Chivel raised their voice he'd flinch.

"That's enough!"
I smacked Chivel roughly.

Chivel stopped.

Silence.

Chivel growled as their eyes filled with sorrow and stormed away.

Chivel never ever yelled at me like that. I shouldn't have hit Chivel that hard. We were friends now, it's different when we first met.

"Chivel wait-!"
I ran after Chivel and as I fell into a puddle.

"Chivel!"
I shouted and just gave up.

"I'm sorry.."
I sobbed. Crepitate followed me and gave me a big hug with his comforting wings.

"Thank you GM."
Crepitate thanks.

I hugged Crepitate tightly. As I watched Chivel run away.

After a while Chivel came back too. But didn't talk to me or Crepitate. And that leads back to after fixing the fight in front of the tv. Me, Crepitate and Chivel together.
