after the empathy , everyone took a very random break for their personal energy to recover . li xing had the worst as she literally watched her future self in such a gore state and some of her friends went to calm her down . dinner's bell rang and everyone assembled there . 

lan zhan and wei ying of the future soon came inside , took their respective trays of food and sat down silently . well , the both did not look good . they looked even more pale . their hands worked mechanically towards their food and mouth

"uncle wei , uncle lan , are you okay?" jin asked while sitting in opposite . 

no response 

"mama? papa?" lan yuan called them out . 

their tired eyes just stared at him . it was so weird . suddenly a soft melody came from lan zhan and he simply attended the call , in loud speaker mode and gently set it down . 

"OI!" came a sturdy , bossy , but gentle voice 

"huan.... need some thing?" lan zhan said nearly dropping himself on the table before keeping himself up with his hand, chin on palm .

"why didn't you sleep for 3 days?" , everyone were stunned , they can barely keep themselves up for 20 hours straight . 

"meeting , and all the contents ......... blah blah blah" lan zhan said as he gently pushed his empty food neatly arranged over the tray to the centre and lied his head down on the table . wei ying next to him , despite looking pale , had more energy than lan zhan at the moment . 

"ying?"

"yes huan gege?"

"you haven't eaten for a day , slept for 5 days - WANT ME TO SMACK YOU BOTH DOWN?!" huan demanded from the other side , wei ying simply closed his eyes for a moment 

"gege , i am on a alcohol diet " lan qiren's eyes looked like it was about to pop out 

"and zhan barely bothered , correct?" wei ying hummed 

"ying would stab me and stich me back to life if i were to do that huan , and you know , he has partners in crime  , 3 to be exact" he simply pulled himself up and sat slouching a bit . all the kids and the very said three people stiffened at the random mention 

hanguang jun looked at his eyes before looking away . lan wangji looked confused .

"ahhh , i am tired - what about you huan ?"

"i am standing under the sun zhan , it is too hot here , you better sleep or if i were to catch you , i will hang you down wherever i see fit . good night zhan"

"suck your day huan" lan zhan simply end the call . both lan xichen oddly stared at him their minds screaming 'aren't i doing enough???!!!!'

 he was about to stand up when lan qiren boomed in "lan wangji , you really need to learn manners " lan zhan simply stared at him for a second before turning to his past selves , who made the eye contact as soon as he looked at them

LAN ZHAN'S PERSONAL EYE COMMUNICATION (INTROVERTED VERSION): 

'bro , he is talking to you both- why are you looking at me?' lan zhan stared 

'no it is you ' the other two deadpanned while staring at him

'no- what? wait  - no lan wangji is you - YOU!' lan zhan stared

'are you dumb ?' little lan wangji stared

hanguang jun stared

'i am not' lan zhan stared pressing his lips tightly 

'you are' hanguang jun stared

'i am NOT' lan zhan's eyes looked rather big while staring 

lan qiren had enough. "LAN WANGJI-"

"SHUT UP PIG!!" lan zhan stood up , grabbed lan qiren by the collar who was coincidentally sitting next to jin ling on the opposite lifted him up by collar , threw him off the window . lan qiren spitting blood the moment he was caught by the collar .

wei ying who saw everything burst into laughter , all the juniors had to control their laughs . 

lan zhan looked at his bros

'you did not break any rule' hanguang jun stared 

lan wangji stared at his older self , lan zhan nodding 

'aren't i a good boy?' lan zhan stared a bit proud

'en , please continue doing this continuously , shifu will get even more annoying in the near future, if any rule break or things like that , i will cover up for you okay?' hanguang jun stared

lan zhan proudly brought his two thumbs out and showed to his bigger version , who nodded with a soft smile 

lan wangji ........... stared.........."..."

lan zhan playfully ran and engulfed his bigger self into a bear hug and kissed him in the forehead , and did the same to zewu zun who was coincidentally sitting next to him . he gently whispered a good night and pulled out zewu zun's hair pin , his hair falling down straight . seeing his attempt to annoy zewu zun in vain . he simply said "i miss those curls" , after gently massaging the scalp a bit before retracting his hands . "everyone good night!" he said and left as such .

after a moment later lan qiren walked in , his hair messy with leaves, twigs and dirt . his dress unkempt . he walked in grumpily , everyone had to hold up their laughs . hanguang jun looked so smugly , the three wei yings who caught his momentary expression burst out in laughter , the room roaring in laughter behind . 

lan qiren's eyes caught future wei ying who was laughing clutching his stomach and wheezing . "wei wuxian! , where is your manners? " it made wei ying laugh even more, wiping up his tears from his closed eyes  . lan qiren began shouting as he walked towards wei ying "you must have bewitched my nephew- you evil being-"

wei ying's eyes sprang open sharply , red eyes on him "SHUT UP!" he said , voice bold and intimating as he stood up , towering lan qiren by few inches . lan qiren unconsciously backed a step behind which made wei ying rather possess a mocking smile as he made a step forward , he found lan qiren move back . taking it as an opportunity , he said "lan qiren , call me evil, vile , honestly i don't care - i mean they actually fit me though , but , there is no way i can bewitch someone-" he said as his eyes rather met hanguang jun who simply stared at him unresponsive . 

lan qiren's back hit the wall and wei ying locked his left and right side by his arms , "hmm? scared ?" he mocked . wei ying the slowly brought his hands down lan qiren's chin and raised him up , red eyes dominating him . something in lan qiren changed as he was suddenly scared and began sweating , shivering . something no one had ever seen him do . 

seeing it , wei ying gripped him tightly around the neck choked him for a good 10 seconds which was every other people's reaction time . he let go of the neck , lan qiren passing out as his unconscious body slipped down to the ground . he turned around to see everyone reaching to their swords , lan xichen's sword pointed at him . surprisingly , zewu zun seemed to be in a trance to notice the commotion and both his and his lover's past selves were totally stunned and barely moved . 

"huan gege , i am disappointed . well , dispose him in his room , he isn't dead yet . he would have went under a PTSD episode if i didn't put him unconscious . " wei ying simply walked towards the door and turned around to yiling laozu , "you better eat your medicine , or i will spank you day till night okay!? " he snarled at him . yiling laozu nodding a bit ashamed . "well then , everyone good night " he waved as he simply left . 

"how is daijiu so sweet and scary at the same time ?"jin ling said , jingyi and sizhui nodded in agreement 

 the final bell for departure rang , all students scrambled to their rooms . hanguang jun looked at his brother in a trance , he was spacing out ever since his future self kissed him . "xiongzhang" he whispered . zewu zun shook from his trance , stared at his brother a bit surprised . "xiongzhang , everyone left" he said while standing up . 

zewu zun standing up behind , both left the room together . after wishing his little brother good night , zewu zun entered his room , and gently caressed the kissed part . slightly smiling , he looked at the mirror to see his most relaxed , calm smile , a genuine one for real . not a bit fake at all . 

'wangji ..... despite being a trouble maker , you care for everyone ' he thought as he laid down on the bed . it was zewu zun's best sleep in years . 

hanguang jun stared as his brother went inside his room and looked behind to see his younger self , he seemed to be serene , but his eyes spoke volumes of confusion

'is there anything i need to fill you up?' hanguang jun stared as both began walking slowly to their room which was in the same direction

'shufu..... gets annoying?' his little self stared at him

'mn........... he really does , after 8 years , shufu will add up 1000 more rules which clearly is against our and wei ying's ideals ' he stared

his little self nodded 

'he even oppresses me if i were to stand up against him , raising a-yuan and a-yi by myself against shufu was the most difficult thing i faced ' he stared 'it is better to have wei ying safe from shufu's clutches , okay?'

his little self nodded before turning away towards his jingshi. hanguang jun sighed as he watched his little self , those naïve days......

opening his assigned room door , he saw his wei ying arranging the bed . "did you eat the medicine ?" he asked softly , his love nodded as a yes and then plopped down on the bed 

"lan zhan....... warm me up" wei ying said as he snuggled against his chest . lan zhan gently patted his love's head , humming the younger into sleep , wrapped his arms around the waist and fell asleep .
