the empathy continued -

li xing woke up and took her phone and saw that she had slept for another 100 years and sighed before standing up and getting ready for the new world again . 

she wore her signature lan robes and rode on her sword putting a invisible talisman . it was night time when she came out . but it was the most beautiful sight . all the buildings were either red , blue , violet , pink - the ones which would make you fall in love with the sight . 

li xing took out her talisman and it led the direction of the current person with the lan bloodline next to her . it was such a long way . but somehow she found herself in Russia after 8 hours . she landed in a stall and stole a breakfast with invincibility and found out the direction of talisman . 

she saw a house which had a simple interior . she rode her sword through the balcony and saw a person sitting surrounded by a blanket , the room was not even lighted properly but her eyes were sharp from the harsh training thanks to wei wuxian . the person was surrounded by many books opened up to a page . 

if she were to sit in that place , she would be too depressed , even lan qiren never did this to any students yet despite his harsh way of teaching, who in the world could read so much books all at once ? it is more than 50 books scattered across the room . 

the past wondered , how can one read so much ?

the person seemed to sigh , the next door opened revealing the silhouette of a lady "papa!! , come outside !" she shouted 

the person was silent , the girl stomped her way to the curtains and pulled out both at the very same time . the outside was very bright thanks to the sun rays . it lit the entire room to the point even li xing had to squint her eyes to adjust to the light . 

but the person went "AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! MY EYEESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!" it was a firm male voice in his teens , but li xing knew this voice - lan wangji , it was her best friend's voice 

lan zhan seemed to wear a round collar top with half shoulder and trousers which barely reached up to his knees . he was covering his eyes as a protection as he was shouting .

li xing , "....." this man broke all the 5000 rules all at once 

everyone looked at lan wangji - it was too surprising , but considering the way his future self is , it was more like expected at least this much 

lan wangji "......"

and then li xing looked at the room , it looked like the modern display of jingshi except the walls are grey and white with butterflies with red and blue . and the neatly scattered books were not 50 but 200 , and another 300 books were stacked up on the book stand neatly . there was a big master bed . but here was lan zhan who had a floor bed and was sitting on it . he looked considerably pale and it attracted her concern . 

"well i have been thinking for a while , why is he too white?" wei wuxian asked 

"apparently future us and lan zhan were half Asians and half western , future us said " yiling laozu said 

"come outside papa!" the girl who shouted grabbed lan zhan's waist and dragged him out .

li xing was angry , but she could not interfere . they entered the main hall . 

"NOO!!" lan zhan shouted 

"you didn't eat for 5 hours straight" the girl responded , behind her was a scythe

she was beautiful . li xing was jealous . 

'wait- she fucking called him dad?! ', li xing was furious . 

"jealousy is forbidden "zewu zun said and li xing looked down 

li xing had watched all those movies where the female lead goes , 'harder daddy/papa!' and shit like those . it of course made her pissed when that random girl called her friend as a dad . 

people from the past were disgusted .

"aira! whats wrong with you? i was about to complete 50 books at once and was about to watch anime! urgghhhhhhh!!!!!!" lan zhan groaned as he sat on the table as the girl who was called aira served him food . 

"not a problem papa , come out for a quick stroll , you look like a ghost " aira said as she sat down with hands on her cheeks . in li xing's point of view it looked like aira was looking at lan zhan's lips .

'that is wei wuxian's place , his full possession ! not yours ! dammit ! even if i have to kill you i will ! at whatever cost , lan wangji should be with wei wuxian only!!!!'  li xing mentally screamed . 

everyone "......" 

"li guniang , you seemed more worried for wei xiong than wei xiong himself in all situations"

after lan zhan ate , the two ended up walking on the pedestrian area for a while . the gentle breeze against lan zhan's hair made him look ethereal .

suddenly lan zhan stopped walking or more like the man was frozen a second before turning up a exact 180 degree and sprinted up fast . aira was alone with a blank stare on her face . 

li xing looked satisfied 'YES! COME ON MY BESTIE ! DUMP YOUR GIRLFRIEND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AND RUN AWAY! '. she cheered herself 

"you changed a lot " a jiang disciple complimented 

meanwhile lan wangji who was called a bestie by someone who he has never spoke a word with them "..."

li xing rode her sword fast enough to catch up to lan zhan but the teen was faster , maybe she was lacking in terms of energy . lan zhan ran to a restaurant and looked frantically to his left and right wiping his sweat . li xing was confused 

and then he looked at a white bike and saw a lady coming close to it . lan zhan ran and grabbed her shoulder and turned her and hugged her tightly and hid his face on her neck . li xing was dumbfounded , just how many girl friends he has?!

the lady seemed to smile and returned the hug and kissed lan zhan on his head . 

"son! how are you doing?" 

li xing froze and looked at the lady features , she was gorgeous in beauty and a outstanding body shape and structures , she wore a white top with a blue jean . but she noticed the main thing , the lady shared the very same amber eyes as lan zhan . 

"mom........" lan zhan only snuggled more . 

"ahaha!" stella laughed as she patted her son . 

the people from past were stunned , can people look this ethereal? and why does lan wangji's mom look so pale? does she even eat? why is she so skinny?

the lan brothers froze at the sight of their mom , wei wuxian gently hugged lan wangji , he understood how it feels to have no parents . 

"so son are you free ?" stella asked as lan zhan removed the hug . 

"mn!"

"i am going to a party , are you joining me?" 

"mn!!"

"hmm, lets go buy some thing neat and go straight away there okay?"

stella rode on the bike and lan zhan sat on the back hugging his mom and glaring at all possible humans who were looking at her . 

"hhahhahaa!!!! , wangji- xiong protect your mom!" nie huaisang ended up laughing . 

lan wangji "...."

after hitting the shopping area , the two ended up in the most good looking dress . while lan zhan wore a good looking black suit , stella found a sleeveless lilac frock upto her knees . and somehow the two entered the party . 

there were more people and many were sitting on a gang . stella held lan zhan's hand and dragged him to one such group where a blond lady with another 2 black and red haired ladies were sitting . 

"hey stella!!!" the blond lady waved her hand . stella waved to the lady with a smile as they walked towards them 

"wait - omg , you are stella oliva?! you look gorgeous ! " the red haired lady exclaimed 

"oh is that your husband- oh so hot-" the black haired lady was cut off with a "that's my son" and a smile from stella . 

lan zhan "...."

"umm , how old is he?" the blond lady asked 

"he would turn 17 in 5 months " stella said as she put a hand on lan zhan's thigh . lan zhan gave a blank face .

"omg , he looks like a sexy man in his 16's , as an adult surely your son would be hot to have so much fanbase - guys just look to the right - my son is 21 , and he is sleeping on the couch like a log " the red haired woman said as she laughed . 

stella and zhan when they looked at the said sleeping guy . that guy was drooling , his suits were messed up . the two were speechless "....."

"ahhahahahhahha!!!!! you both have the same blank face !!!!!!!" the blond haired woman was laughing her ass out . 

stella and lan zhan , "......"

li xing who was at the very same scene "....."  i never knew wangji and his mother would be a pair out of anything

the past had enough time laughing at those faces 

"oh fine , stella ! look , i have a question - if you were to have a partner for your son - what would be your preferences ?" the black haired lady asked 

"oh well-" stella stuck on her words 

lan zhan seemed to understand and stood up "mom , washroom" he said and sped walked to the washroom which was on the edge of the room . and closed the door once he entered . 

li xing was curious but followed lan zhan and then realized , this is men's washroom area she entered . she was mentally dying , but men's washroom looked different from women's washroom ,why?

but lan zhan did not seem to use the restroom but stand next to the wall with a very nervous face . 

"umm , i have no gender preferences though - but i would like to have a in law who is in LGBTQ community as me though-" stella's voice was very well heard by li xing due to her enhanced senses . but lan zhan on the other side looked really surprised and very happy . 

"yessssssssss!!!!! yahooooooo!!!!" lan zhan was jumping in his little world .  

"huh , then what are your type -?" the blond lady asked 

"hmmm.......... well i am a bisexual though , you guys know my straight side but to my lesbian side , i prefer girls with big boobs and butt " stella's voice was confident to the point , lan zhan froze in his little entertainment . 

'oh boy' li xing thought as she looked at the door 

"papa!" li xing looked at the voice and to her horror , aira was there 

lan zhan looked at aira before putting a hand on her shoulders and shaking it "aira , whatever happens , do not come in front of my mother's face at any cost . even if i am going to die okay?" 

"ahhh? o.....okay?"

"good girl" lan zhan patted her head and opened the door and walked away . when li xing looked at the door and then behind , the said aira was missing . what is going on?

"okay , that is confusing" many murmurs came out . 

having a small dinner the mom and her son came out of the party . this time , lan zhan rode the bike and stella sat at the back hugging her son tightly . when the red signal came , lan zhan stopped his bike and waited for a while . stella looked at her left and saw many single girls looking at them . 

with a teasing smile , stella planted a kiss on lan zhan's neck making the former's ears turn red . 

"mom , dont tease..." stella laughed .

soon the two entered lan zhan's room . and hit the bed in the very same style . 

li xing only looked into the scene , she wondered , how did her mother even look like? she was too old to remember even single details of her early ages . 

"i have a bad memory too, haha" wei wuxian revealed

li xing woke up from her meditation and found out it had been 2 weeks already and went to check on lan zhan . 

she saw lan zhan wearing all black from top to bottom , fully covered with full sleeves .

 lan zhan drove his car towards the gate of a huge building . li xing froze , that is the company her son created ! it has established! she was proud . 

lan zhan came out after parking the car wearing a black coat , black mask , black coolers .

'man looks like he is in incognito mode' - li xing thought , in her point of view , lan zhan could at least  wear a coat in other colour . she sighed 

when lan zhan entered every one seemed to stand up and look at him until he nodded and sat and continued their work . li xing was surprised of his power . 

"woah dude , many people "

"did you see the way they bowed, even i never did that to my sect leader !" a jin disciple said 

"it is okay, he doesn't exist anymore " jin zixuan said a bit excitedly , he knew that his worthless whore excuse of a father doesn't even deserve the half respect he is always given

after lan zhan entered his cabin , everyone came out . a man spoke "i have no idea who that guy is , he does not even show his face at all . it is so creepy , how did madam stella assign him as our boss though?"

'wait- boss? what the- '

"i think it is better to kill him off , and tell he jumped from the building after drinking ?" a lady suggested 

li xing was furious 

so did the viewers 

"anyone who is good at fighting can join them all " the very same lady suggested and 20 people made a crowd . 

"guys , i-i dont think that would work though- i mean , i can ask madam stella over his identity-" the right hand woman was cut off by a "oh fine , go and do it " . 

the right hand woman excused herself to the garden and called stella . at the information of the current boss being her son , she ran inside . 

but before she went to see , half of the people were missing . she feared the worst and rushed towards lan zhan's cabin to see the lady who planned lan zhan's murder standing with a smile . 

"that kid- he is the son of the boss madam" 

the people standing froze and kicked the door open to see blood . only one was standing in the dark room . 

"i hope lan zhan is alright " wei wuxian whispered . lan wangji smiled at wei wuxian hearing his wish

the light was switched on by the guy in the side , who entered the last . everyone froze 

lan zhan stood with a not surprised but disappointed look , standing impassively , his hands covered with blood , behind him was a scythe that li xing saw at his home . his mask and coolers were broken . but he was uninjured . all the blood on him were not his . the room was filled with blood and bodies . apparently lan zhan did not seem to bother about the gender , but fought against almost 30 adults and won . 

he was a true definition of a monster in human skin .

lan zhan glared at the intruders . for some reason , his golden eyes seemed to glow of dominance . li xing was scared a little to be honest , but her guard on her sword was all she could do to defend , but then there is no way that man would see her due to her invinciblity . but the others fell on their knees as soon as lan zhan's eyes fell on them . 

"oi- whose shitty plan was this?" lan zhan's voice held so much authority to the point , li xing remembered the omegaverse stories she had read in her boring days when she left her son to school . in her point of view lan zhan is an alpha . 

the lady who planned all this simply pointed to the right hand woman of stella and said "she did this" 

*thud*

lan zhan shot the lady who lied without any hesitations . his eyes , cold and unwavering . he simply turned away and said "clean all those dead bodies , i am tired" . he walked over the blood and stumped the dead and walked away via the other door of his cabin . 

li xing was shocked , how could a mere teen in his mid teens could kill grown ass adults like a bug? but she was interested in lan zhan ,his entire behaviour, his way of portraying , way totally a mystery . 

she smirked , she really wanted to know more about this teen , her former friend lan wangji . 

"i feel bad waves " a nie disciple said .

lan zhan walked to the locker's section , and after attempting a password , he opened the locker to reveal the simple dresses inside it , he just picked out the dress in sandal at the top and picked out body wash and headed straight to the men's washroom . everyone who was on his way moved away with fear . 

and li xing stopped in front of men's washroom . she is not a pervert for those as long as they are xiuying. 

after a couple of minutes , lan zhan came out with his bloodied black dress in a bag wearing sandal turtle neck top with dark blue jeans . with right hand in pocket , left hand holding the bag , he shot a last glare to everyone who was alive and ordered "feel free to resign , if you want " and left . his amber eyes didn't help but increase the fear in everyone who flinched visibly .li xing was stunned 'you-you ! are you trying to make the company loose members?? you have sense??' she wanted to cuss out loud but stopped as she watched lan zhan leave so casually 

"ahh , lan er gongzi in future has no rules like violence is forbidden , shouting is forbidden right"

"no wonder he straight up bullies grandmaster lan at all angles " 

li xing followed lan zhan in the car as she sat in the back seat as he drove . 'saving energy is a must' she thought proudly , but see could almost imagine wei wuxian with a chenqing in his hand ready to slap her . that man was the one who said , giving out energy is a must as much as you save it in celestial cultivation , it was a difficult process.

"li guniang is scared of da-shixiong"

the car stopped , li xing peeped out of window to see the same house he lives . she followed behind lan zhan who walked gracefully inside , throwing the bag in the burning fire which heated the room and walked to his room , opened the door , stamped well on the books which are scattered and plopped over the bed and fell asleep in an instant 

'the extreme disrespect!' li xing screamed , books are important in life!! . but seeing his tired face as he slept , she tore away her invincibility and put the blanket over him and stared at his sleeping face , it brought her nightmare of watching his death 

"that suddenly turned dark dude!"

the door opened revealing aira , who simply stared at her , eyes glowing blue . it took a solid minute for li xing who suddenly found herself flying out of the window that her invincibility was off . she ran to an open ground and pulled out her sword , pointing it to aira "who are you ?"she demanded. 

but aira seemed to be unfazed , "you dare barging in my home and dare touch papa , and have the guts to question me - huh?" her gaze turned hard and sharp . 

"it doesn't matter who i am , you should learn to respect elders-" before li xing could complete her sentence , a scythe which she saw was on lan zhan's hand before , flew faster towards her and cut her in her waist and boomeranged all the way back to aira , who smirked . 

"papa taught me not to respect people who demand respect " aira said as she caught the scythe smoothly , bringing it to her peripherals as she brought herself into a fighting stance . a mocking smile not leaving her dominating glowing blue eyes . 

everyone were stunned 

"well she got a point though-"

lan xichen blinked at the entire situation 

before li xing could pull out her sword , she was stabbed on her stomach by aira who stood by a 5 inch gap between them , 'how !' , 'i did not even see that coming at all!' . as she coughed down a huge puddle of blood which rose in her throat . aira smiled at her , before li xing could back off , she removed the scythe from her stomach and then replaced it with her own hand inside her , pulling out her intestines . 

the sudden pain and loss of blood made li xing scream and feel dizzy at the same time , but aira seemed to not mind her pain and suddenly pushed back her intestines into her , tearing up her stomach skin in the progress . 

"you know , where ever you go, first come - first serve ...... *aira says as she pulls out the intestines out * but then- just because you could make a move doesn't mean - you win ..... *she cut the intestine with the scythe in her other hand * you slutty bitch!"

as aira let go of the intestines , li xing fell down on the cold road . 'how could this happen!' she was someone with celestial cultivation base  . before she thought to summon the rune of teleportation and flee , her mind was suddenly clouded by pain . as she screamed clutching her stomach rolling to the side , she was kicked to her back, aira's left leg was bloodied , she stomped again and again , laughing out loud as she clutched her cheeks in pleasure .

everyone stilled in their place , how can someone act in that manner? she did look quite normal when she was with lan zhan. the phrase - appearance is deceptive really belonged to her  

some couldn't even stare at the amount of blood li xing was covered in 

yiling laozu , who had personal experience similar to this in burial mounds had the most sympathy ever 

li xing couldn't see her future self being trampled upon

"......ke up..........WAKE UP LI XING!" she found her environment in a bright green forest , her head was something . she looked up to see wei wuxian , wearing his gusu robes , which were too big on him . she turned to the other side to see his legs crossed upon each other , as she turned to face that man again , noting the well face of wei wuxian's concerned eyes on her , those eyes which used to be cheerful and lively had dark circles , and barely had light in them . 

"sorry" she uttered , "for lying on my lap?" the man tried his best to chuckle , but it seemed dead . "i-" however she was cut off with wei wuxian saying "use your blood to form the rune , the rune of teleportation in celestial cultivation can take you any where you want , just think of someone , as you activate , you will find yourself near them " he said looking at the blue sky , despite him looking like he was at his worst , li xing really found him ethereal as the soft wind making his hair sway . the man sighed as he put his palm on her hair "wake up for once will you?" he said 

aira brought her scythe towards the sky to behead her , suddenly li xing's eyes flared up , the blood around her sprayed like a paint tub spilled beneath her bore into life as it rearranged itself into a rune of teleportation and activated it on its own , pulling li xing inside it and sealing itself before aira's scythe could cut off her head . 

everyone were speechless as this was something that they never knew in their lives . 

both wei ying's and lan zhan's noticed the mental illness of her living a delusional life and seemed to loose sense of reality .

li xing stared at her scarred body , while standing , 'just how far did that girl go on me ?' she thought as looked in front of her , catching the sight of a long haired women who wore a white coat over her black shirt and pants , fiddling over her phone as she walked towards her . the woman seemed to not braid or put in a pony tail and seemed to let it sway in the cool air in the night . 

li xing's eyes teared up as she ran ignoring her body screaming at her not to move . as she made hey way to that woman , she felt dizzy , but still ran with all her might and crashed on that woman and lost consciousness . 

"umm , can we take a bit of a break?"
