everything were too silent , literally everything .

cloud recesses did not look like the ones she remembered anymore , it looked like half of the recesses is covered with forest . she walked to the other side and dug up a large hole in seconds and smashed up the pot which broke at one strike and planted up the plant and poured a little water and hurried to the other side  

she looked around the place where most of the tiles were replaced to grass , still the floor tiles were seen . walking still more deep , using her muscle memory , she walked straight into the training hall to see many disciples slacking around , this made her stunned , even after wei wuxian brought down the rules to its grounds , the disciples worked hard to meet everyone's attention and expectations . 

she turned away and ran towards jingshi to look at the house neatly maintained as it was . so it was only the outskirts which became a forest . she sighed in relief , and suddenly there was a sword placed against her neck from the behind . 

" whatever happens , cloud recesses always managed to look beautiful , just like lan wangji " a jin disciple said and clicked her tongue , she had been madly in love with him . 

jin zixuan wished his father could be alive for this moment , he would love to tie her up to his father's bed 

lan wangji glared at that direction 

li xing grabbed the sword and pushed it away and took out her sword from her other hand and blocked the next strike from the sword , the intruder was really strong with sword skills , it made her smile , at least someone is to her level right now 

the intruder threw her sword to the sky and kicked and punched li xing who had to dodge all the incoming attacks . at a certain point the intruder kicked a tree accidentally and the tree broke up in half .

"whoever it is , that person is dangerous than wen rouhan " jin zixuan [post war] said 

everyone more or less agreed to him 

"i- i choose defeat!" li xing said as she clutched her wounds , she was happy moments ago after finding out that she was an immortal , but this opponent person is way too stronger for that . 

the intruder walked in front of her view , the intruder had a female body but wore a male's clothes , the gusu lan's ones , her entire face was covered with white silk . judging by a first look , the female seemed to not tie up her hair . 

"who is she?" many wondered 

the intruder put her left leg against li xing's right hip and right leg against left hip . li xing never looked at some girl's body in this position and it took her breathe a second . the intruder simply sat over her stomach . li xing's hands grabbed those sexy curvy hips , more like groped them .

the people were too stunned to speak , are they going to watch some lesbian things ?

"well a lot of things happened " xiuying's voice was a mono tone like her father , this made li xing worry for her a little 

"after mom died , we [ herself and her two brothers ] took care of the sect . when sizhui gege went out on a night hunt alone , he met up with a girl who was one among the last remnants of the wens even though she was a half blood between a wen and a farmer . and he told us about his story , he looked like he was a love sick maiden you know jie - and i and jingyi gege simply sighed and asked him to take us as well . 

well the girl was cute in looks , but her mother demanded that if sizhui gege were to marry her , he would have to abandon his cultivation life and live as an farmer . we agreed on the terms , jingyi gege , rulan gege , li xiang jie and me - were the only people from the husbands side . the marriage went smoothly " xiuying said while walking all the way to jingshi . 

"what was the agreement from your side ?" li xing is not the person who love plot holes

li xing looked shocked but did not tell anything

apparently the empathy had censorship and did not reveal li xing's body .

the two waited under a tree watching all the clans walk away . 

"arent we going?" li xing asked xiuying who simply took out a talisman and used it on herself . 

it was a transformation talisman , it changed xiuying's entire structure to an old woman with little wrinkles on her face , yet still pulling out a majestic look like her father .

"jie , i will explain this later , now come " xiuying walked upright an perfect like a lan . 

"hey this is cheating!" a jin disciple who shouted got silenced by lan disciples who had enough of this shit

when xiuying entered the hall , only jiang clan , nie clan and the jin clan leader stood up and bowed "we greet the chief cultivator " . every leaders other than the three either smirked or rolled their eyes at this behavior 

and one of them commented "sect leader jiang , nie and jin , why bowing to an old lady ? the lan clan is going to one among the dust just like the wens did " . li xing never got angry , she looked like she would kill that person 

but the sect leader of jiang , jin and nie did not seem to bother or more like they ignore that mere existent person and ended up bowing . 

xiuying smiled and nodded at the three who brightened up and smiled at her before siting down on their seats . 

the past people were stunned , this is how the future is? how disrespectful!

"father why would even make me marry that old woman?"

"WE WILL SLAY YOU HERE ALONG WITH THAT GIRL NEXT TO YOU AND CONQUER THE LAN CLAN AS OURS !" all the disciples had their swords unsheathed in their hands 

the past people were really pissed off , those people should actually get whipped by discipline whips !

one of the disciples managed to grab xiuying's outer coat and pulled it out and the talisman which made xiuying's appearance old wore off. 

"father , i will have that woman!" the son shouted . many people wanted to bang her off

despite the chaos , the sect leader jin , nie and jiang along with their head disciples managed to walk outside silently without getting any attention . after the 6 came out , the head disciples closed the door silently and the 6 walked away aimlessly talking with each other .

everyone looked at the 6 people , "....."

in minutes xiuying's temper rose up . "this is one last time i could say-"

"SHUT UP SEXY LADY AND SPREAD YOUR LEGS!"

xiuying's eyes turned red , resentful energy suffocated everyone in the room , and soon left as such . all the people inside the room were stunned , when li xing looked at xiuying's hand , she froze . 

her entire hands held so many golden cores and she could remember the way wei wuxian ripped out wen zhuliu's core out . 

that was a horrifying thing one could ever do to a person ! but they deserved it .

"choke up and die" was the last thing everyone heard before the resentment killed everyone remaining only the bloodied tiles and walls of the rooms . xiuying seemed to be satisfied . 

it only made li xing shiver even more .

when the two came out , they saw the 3 sect leaders with their 3 head disciples playing tag like kids . 

"grandma lan!" the 3 sect leaders hurried up to her like ducklings . xiuying smiled "kids , just live a happy life " she said and put a hand on the 3's shoulders and patted them and walked away . 

"jie " li xing looked at xiuying "i want to take you somewhere , will you come with me?" . li xing nodded

xiuying's powers could actually make her the next wen rouhan , but she preferred being herself and a good girl . it was a good thing . 'so she put an end to the cultivation world' zewu zun thought as he remembered lan zhan telling that 300 years from now , the last cultivator would die.

li xing walked in yiling along with xiuying eating some tanghulu . 

"jie come with me " xiuying said as she stepped inside the burial mounds which made li xing fear . li xing put on a spiritual cover over herself to protect herself from the resentment , when she looked , xiuying was already at a very large distance from her . 

in order to catch up to her , li xing ran towards xiuying to only fight with the undead corpses which roared and ran towards her . 

" jie , stop fighting " xiuying walked upto her when she noticed li xing wasnt next to her . 

'dont fight? i will die!!' li xing screamed inside her head .

but all the undead corpses seemed to stand behind xiuying who had red eyes . "jie , do not use spiritual cover and be free like me" li xing had to follow that words and no corpses seemed to fight with her , the two walked holding each other's hands 

"jie , you know , while putting on a spiritual cover over you may be a good thing because you can think resentful energy will harm you in anyway possible . but you are wrong , doing something wrong makes it worse , like you go to your friends house but demand them to give you spicy food  just because you cannot eat sweet things which your friend's family does . putting on a spiritual cover while the resentment is still around can make you its enemy , and thats why you were attacked upon . 

my mom was able to control resentful energy because when he was thrown here by those wens , he had no core to fight with the resentment and nearly gave up on his life letting the resentment to play or whatever it wanted to do with him . but then he found out that the resentment which was supposed to kill him , patched him up and let him use it  . resentful energy is not evil , we are simply claiming it as evil "

li xing was stunned by this explanation . 

the people from the past learnt something that could help them in the future . this was an useful information and their myths were wrong .

"lets go back" in seconds a teleportation miasma formed beneath xiuying covering li xing . then they found themselves in jingshi . 

"why is hanguang jun's daughter so cute? i wanna squish that cheeks!" a jiang female disciple said which made lan wangji's ears red , it would be all thanks to wei ying?

the next day the two walked down the town to see kids running and shouting while playing tag . xiuying looked at the scene longingly . li xing was saddened .

"something is wrong a-xi?" li xing asked trying to distract xiuying 

"jiejie , the nie bloodline has heirs , so does the wen , jin and jiang , what about the lan? i am the only female here , but i dont want to spread up my legs for anyone ........ " li xing looked down , she did not know what to tell . "jiejie , can you tell me how mom got pregnant?" xiuying looked at li xing in the eye to tell her the truth . 

li xing sweated . well her two gay friends would do it nearly everywhere if they got their time alone free . "umm......dual cultivation? i am not sure , i once saw your mother sitting with a bunch of talismans and with your father's half entire cultivation powers being attached over your mom's stomach like a mark ......... he became pregnant the next week" . li xing did not bother to ask wei wuxian that time , she was contented as long as wei wuxian was happy .

xiuying stayed silent on the way back to li xing's room to which the two shared together, thinking about things . it took a week for her before running out from li xing's room to jingshi and opened up an entire cupboard which used to be empty , the next second all the talismans from the cupboard flew and was around the room , all messy . 

when li xing saw xiuying sitting in the middle of many different talismans , she was suddenly brought back to the past where wei wuxian used to occupy that place and whenever lan wangji would enter the jingshi , he had to lock away his spiritual energy and would skip on one leg holding his long dress and would sit on the bed . it used to be funny , because she once did this along with lan wangji and tripped and nearly fell down on an explosive talisman if lan wangji did not grab her collar . 

both lan xichen and everyone except lan wangji never expected lan wangji of all would hop like a rabbit . it was cute for a grown up man to hop like that . 

after 5 months of li xing force feeding xiuying who kept making weird faces once the food was forced inside her mouth and dragging her to bath and washing her entirely . xiuying finally found out the talisman which her mother used . and modified it for an another 7 months which made li xing rip out half of her entire hair because of this stubborn shit here ! everything remained her of wei wuxian doing shitty things . 

lan wangji was not sure how to react .

"jiejie , do you know that immortals can sleep?  all you ever did was meditate and never sleep right ? why dont you try sleeping ?, when i want some help , this talisman will burn on its own okay , only at that moment you are allowed inside yunshen [lan wangji's mother's residence] where i will be there for a while okay?" xiuying asked smiling which made li xing could not help but agree to it . 

"wait , immortals does not need any sleep?" a lan disciple said 

and for once after many years , li xing slept on the bed .

when she opened her eyes she felt very fresh . she stood up and stretched herself and took a fresh bath and came out to freeze . the cloud recesses looked like it was ruined to its base . she ran frantically holding the unburnt talisman in her hands , all the places she knew was dead . she then noticed a big barrier which was way to strong covering this place . 

she ran out of the barrier and stood at a cliff to stun to her core 'what was she seeing?' 

there were many large buildings , all the walking areas were replaced by something black , only few street shops which looked weird , small buildings , t-this was not something li xing knew 

where was she? xiuying really fooled her out just like wei wuxian always did

"oh looks like she slept for 20 entire generations or even more than that" a sound came form the back . 

"so we are going to react to the future soon" nie huaisang [sect leader ] concluded "for now we will take some break and will continue tomorrow , it is already night " he said .

everyone came out , both lan wangji's were concerned about wei ying when he heard his own voice go "hahhahahaa!" . he followed the sound of the voice and smiled . 

lan zhan was sitting in the middle holding peanuts and their wei ying's were sitting on each side eating it and were laughing as well , it warmed their hearts 

"-and then i got really angry when that old man said only sizhui was the best , and i was like - i mean - i literally shouted at his face 'suck it up and fuck yourself' and he spit blood and fell down dramatically you know- i-hahhahahah!!!!!!" the three ended up laughing like idiots .

"lan er gege! join us " both wei wuxians asked looking at their lan zhan's 

"sleep time" both lan wangji's voice were stern 

"urggghhhh fine then ,we will be leaving , good night" both wei wuxians waved to lan zhan who waved his hands with a smile . 

when the two jiang cheng saw this scene , they felt so angry , but they calmed down themselves , it was his family which fed wei wuxian to grow up not lan wangji , it was his family which taught him to fight not lan wangji, it was his family which gave a roof on his head not lan wangji , it was always his family .......... but he ran behind lan wangji"tsk"both jiang cheng sped walked to their room which made both yanli worried 

when everyone left lan zhan felt a hand on his waist "ying , you should have joined the conversation, it was funny" he said as wei ying simply leaned onto him . "but i had to talk with my qing jie "

"sure , shall we go and sleep?"

"mn" wei ying felt himself lifted up in a bridal carry as he leaned onto lan zhan's chest .

          AFTER WRITING HALFWAY , THEN I REALISED THAT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF IT WERE TWO PARTS AS THIS WOULD BE THE SECOND LONGEST CHAPTER I HAVE WRITTEN IN THIS STORY . BUT I PROMISED LAST TIME THAT THIS WOULD THE LAST EMO CHAPTER . 

          FROM THE NEXT CHAPTER ONWARDS , I WILL SLOWLY ADD SOME FUNNY ELEMENTS AND BRING THE STORY TO THE COMEDY FUN RIDE .
