~Cara's Pov~

I wake up and see that Machenzy isn't next to me. As usual. I lay flat on my back on the bed and stare at the wall art on the ceiling.

Damn.

Last night. Was incredible. I want more.

I need more.

My thoughts get interrupted by my stomach growling. I need food. I get up and get change into a purple crop top and white short shorts. I put my hair into a high ponytail and walk into the kitchen. I see everyone sitting in the kitchen. "Oh hey, Cara!" Angela greets me. I smile at her and yawn. "Anything to eat? I'm starving." Isaiah stares at me with an evil smirk on his face. Okay... I look in the fridge and grab myself a yogurt and sit on a bar stool at the counter with the rest of the crew. "Hey, Cara?" I look up to see Daniel. "Yea?" "How did you and Machenzy meet?" He asked. I think about it and giggle at how we met. "Well..."

~Six Years Earlier~

My first day of fourth grade! Yay! I hope I make a new friend. I walk into class and sit at a seat in the middle of the second row. The seats were arranged separately in a 4 by 3 manner. I can feel eyes on me in the back of my head.  I heard a kid's voice, "Oh look~ Isn't that the girl yo-" "Shut up, Kenny!" I hear a girl say in order to shut him up.

A few minutes later, a boy walks up to me and smiles. He was pretty tall and had wavy hair and a poufy gray jacket. "Hey~ My names Kenny! Kenny Vargas. You're cute~" So this was that Kenny guy. He's a bit of a flirt. "Sorry. I'm not interested." He looked offended but then his frown quickly got replace by a smile. "That's fine." I watched as he tapped a girl with long black hair covering the right half of  her face, reading a book. She was a dark brown color and she had big brown eye(s). She's pretty. "Jaaade~" So that's her name. "What do you want, Kenny." She looked annoyed. "Say hi to your new friend..." He looked to me. I realized I didn't give him a name. "Cara," I answered him. As soon as I said my name her head shot up to meet my eyes. I cold see her face turning pink. "Say hi you weirdo!" Kenny yelled at her. She stood up and walked in front of her desk. "H-hi. My names Machenzy Jade b-but my friends just call m-me Jade." She stuttered.

How cute.

She looked... sad. I don't like it when people are sad. Maybe she'll smile with a hug. She is a bit taller than me so I wrapped my arms around her waist and hugged her. She was wearing this grey and black striped jacket, zipped up. It was big on her and smelled like... smoke... and grass. How odd. She stood there with her arms parted. Clearly shocked. I let go and smiled at her. Her face was bright red and Kenny was snickering. I like her... I like boys and girls so let's see what happens.

~Present Time~

"Awww~" Angela, Bailey and Daniel said in sync. I look to Isaiah, "Something on your mind, Isaiah?" He shook his head.

A few minutes later we heard the door unlock and turn to see Machenzy Jade walking in with a hand full of groceries. Her back was turned towards us as she closed the door. She was wearing a blue tank top and tight, black short shorts.

Woah~

She turned to us and gave a simple smile as she unloaded the groceries and stored them into the fridge and cabinets.

We met. And I'm so glad we did. Where has she been my whole life?
