He could tell he was blushing again. His mind seemed to have gone blank.
"Why?" was all he could think of to say. Dang, that sounded stupid.
She looked up at him and smiled softly.
"I guess it's because I love you," she whispered so quietly he almost didn't hear it.
"W-what?!" he exclaimed. There was no way she really did.
"I love you," she repeated softly.
"I l-love you too," he stammered, holding her closer.
"Good," she smiled, her eyes sparkling. "Then you won't mind if I do this?"
She pressed her lips to his. His eyes widened. She was kissing him!
She pulled away and actually giggled at the look on his face.
"I love you," she said again. "Do you believe me now?"
