(Y/N) had especially with Maddie to the church dressed as an old beggar. Of course, this doesn't go unnoticed by Thor who watched them take shelter from the rain. Once inside, the sisters drop their disguise and walk around. In the distance, you could hear people singing. Thor approached Maddie but she was quick to take his sword and knock him to the ground.

"Easy, easy. I just shaved this morning," Thor said backing up against a pillar.

"Oh, really? You missed a spot," Maddie said.

"All right, all right. Just calm down. Just give me a chance to apologize."

"For what?"

As she lets down her guard for a split second, Thor grabs the sword from her hands and turns it on her.

"That, for example," Thor said standing up.

"You sneaky son of a-"

"Ah, ah, ah! Watch it. You're in a church," Thor interrupted (Y/N).

(Y/N) and Maddie pick up a staff each with candles on top.

"Are you always this charming, or are we just lucky?" Maddie asked.

Maddie swings the staff at Thor, who blocks it with his sword. They fight. Thor teased their fighting performance as a private dance. Maddie hit Thor with the stand of the staff and (Y/N) hit him in the chest with it.

"You two fight well together," Thor said.

"Well, we don't take kindly to soldiers," (Y/N) said

The fighting has subsided by this point.

"Eh, I noticed. Permit me. I'm Thor. It means 'Thunder god.' And you are?" Thor asked.

"Is this an interrogation?" (Y/N) asked.

"It's called an introduction,"

"You're not arresting us?" Maddie asked.

"Not as long as you two in here. I can't," Thor said.

"You're not at all like the other soldiers," Maddie said putting the staff down.

"Thank you."

"So, if you're not going to arrest us, what do you want?"

"I'd settle for your names."

"Maddie."

"(Y/N)."

"It's beautiful. Much better than Thor, anyway," Thor said to Maddie.

As they gaze into each other's eyes, neither notices Thanos and guards approaching.

"Good work, Captain! Now, arrest them," Thanos said.

Thor still has his back to Thanos and whispered to Maddie, "Claim sanctuary."

She looks at him coldly.

"Say it!" Thor almost begged

"You tricked us!" Maddie sneered.

"I'm waiting, Captain," Thanos said.

"I'm sorry, sir. They claimed sanctuary. There's nothing I can do," Thor said.

"Then drag them outside and-"

"Thanos!" Odin said walking over, "You will not touch them! Don't worry. Minister Thanos learned years ago to respect the sanctity of the church."

Thanos glared at Odin before he and the guards turn to leave. But Thanos ducks around a pillar and doubles back. As the remainder of the people have passed, Thanos jumps out, grabs (Y/N)'s arm and twists it behind her.

"You think you've outwitted me," Thanos said, "but I am a patient man, and gypsies don't do well inside stone walls."

He pauses, then breathes deeply, smelling (Y/N)'s hair.

"What are you doing?" (Y/N) asked him.

"I was just imagining a rope around that beautiful neck," Thanos said caressing her neck.

(Y/N) pulled away, "I know what you were imagining."

"Such a clever witch. So typical of your kind, to twist the truth to cloud the mind with unholy thoughts. Well, no matter," he begins to leave, "you've chosen a magnificent prison, but it is a prison nonetheless. Set one foot outside, and you're mine!"

Thanos leaves, pulling the door shut behind him. (Y/N) rushes over to another door, only to find guards. She slams it shut and Maddie comes over.

"Don't worry, Maddie. If Thanos thinks he can keep us here, he's wrong," (Y/N) said.

"Don't act rashly, child," Odin said, "you created quite a stir at the festival. It would be unwise to arouse Thanos' anger further."

"You saw what he did out there, letting the crowd torture that poor boy. I thought if just one person could stand up to him, then..." (Y/N) sighed.

"What do they have against people who are different, anyway?" Maddie asked.

"You can't right all the wrongs in this world by yourself," Odin told them.

"No one out there's going to help, that's for sure."

"Perhaps there's someone in here who can."

The sisters walk around the Cathedral. They saw people praying to God asking for help and guidance. Well, if they believe God will help them, why not try asking too?

'I don't know if you can hear me or if you're even there,' (Y/N) sang, 'I don't know if you would listen to a gypsie's prayer. Yes, I know we're just outcast. We shouldn't speak to you. Still, I see your face and wonder were you once an outcast too?'

High in the bell tower, a sad Loki heard (Y/N)'s prayer to god. He never likes to listen to people's cries for help but this he had to listen to.

'God help the outcasts hungry from birth, show them the mercy they don't find on Earth,' Maddie sang.

'God help our people. We look to you still. God help the outcasts or nobody will,' the sisters sang.

'I ask for wealth. I ask for fame. I ask for glory to shine on my name. I ask for love I can possess. I ask for God and his angels to bless me,' the people in the Cathedral begged.

'I ask for nothing I can get by but I know so many less lucky than us,' the sisters sang, 'please help our people, the poor and downtrod. I thought we all were the children of God? God help the outcasts, children of God.'

Loki couldn't help but be enchanted by (Y/N)'s voice. He was falling for her. But she wouldn't fall for someone like him. He's a monster, he's hideous. At least to everyone else. But maybe (Y/N) is different. Someone noticed Loki who ran away, scared. (Y/N) and Maddie followed him up the bell tower. Loki tried to escape the sisters but then his three friends stopped him thinking Loki brought them here. Loki tried to leave but they had already caught up with him.

"Here you are. I was afraid I'd lost you," (Y/N) said.

"Yes. Um, well, I uh, I have chores to do. It was, uh, nice... seeing... you... again. Ohh..." Loki ran off again

"No, wait!" (Y/N) followed Loki.

Maddie is examining Tony. He briefly comes to life, makes kissing faces at Maddie, then goes back to stone. Maddie was confused but followed (Y/N).

"I'm really sorry about this afternoon. I had no idea who you were. I would never in my life had... pulled... you... up on the...stage."

She slows down as she reaches Loki's room, with its dangling glass mobile and model of the city. She is in awe.
