"Ummm...Jin? Are you sure you haven't gone crazy?" Arya whispered to Jin's side.

Jin didn't answer and stepped into the said building.

"No way NIS built its headquarter amid this chaos. Shouldn't it be a little more secretive?" Arya asked following him.

It was in the heart of the city, a tall commercial building with swarms of corporate people all around.

Arya followed him inside.

Jin went to reception and told something to him in a low tone.
The receptionist nodded in approval and gave him a piece of paper.

Receiving it, Jin went towards a lift and Arya almost had to run to catch up with him.
The lift went up until it reached the penthouse.

"They said the penthouse is a residential area and restricted for commoners." Arya again whispered.

"Why are you whispering?" Jin looked at her.

"Am I not supposed to?" Arya grinned.

Jin again looked at the front and came out with her in his tail. In front of him, there was a huge door. Jin went to the panel on the right side and scanned his retina.
When the AI confirmed his identity, he typed down the number written on the paper the receptionist gave him.

They both went in.

As soon as Jin entered the room as if ten or so mouths were silenced and whole room fell silent with people quietly getting back to their cubicles.

The man at the door was elegant, yet exuded the aura of ice and frost. The people going towards the door silently avoided the space near him.

Jin didn't budge or spare a glance around.
When Arya turned her head, she could see the side of his face. His lashes were long, appearing to be extremely delicate and elegant. His postures were upright, looking straight ahead. When she was thinking of starting a conversation with him, a tall man walked inside the room from the opposite side of the large room.

He shortly nodded at Jin and Jin walked straight towards him.

Arya was astonishingly looking at the new man.
He was well built, very well built to be exact.
His tall stature was a perfect fit for the black suit he was wearing with the hilariously expensive watch on his wrist.

His hairs were slid backward with a pair of piercing eyes underneath. He was an embodiment of confidence and dominance.

"Hyung." His voice was deep.

"Damn!" The word slipped through Arya's mouth unintentionally and she instantly pursed her lips to prevent herself from saying anything further.

The man's gaze slid from Jin to her.
But unlike Jin who was indifferent from her embarrassing remark, his eyes were warm.

He smiled gently towards her and nodded a little, "It's nice to see you again, sunbaenim. My name is Kim Namjoon."

"Me?" Arya instantly looked around awkwardly finding nobody he could have addressed except her, "did you know me before?"

"Yes, we used to work here together. For a very short period though." Namjoon again smiled gently, "I heard about your condition. Now, If you don't mind, please follow me to my office."

The whole floor was a maze of doors and corridors with a super modern interior inside. People were busy all around, minding their own business. The only thing common in every place was wherever they went or which corner they turned, their presence could somehow draw the curtain of silence everywhere. Arya didn't have to guess the source of intimidation as he was walking right beside her, indifferent to the world around him.

After five minutes of wandering around, Namjoon stopped in front of a door.
It was made of black polished metal with a rank engraving on it, "Head Of Operations."

Arya was impressed.
This fine as hell guy is the head of operations here? It's the most powerful position after the director. How old was he? Not close to her of course. But he managed to climb up there means he not only has the looks but also potentials, and most importantly, a smart-ass brain.

As elegantly decored the room was,  oddly enough there was a cartooned figure drawn on the wall beside his desk with black and ash marker on the white wall.

Below the howling figure of a wolf, deciding the drawing wasn't enough, there was even a caption below it,
"Clawless Old dog."
And in another handwriting which wasn't of the previous writer, "Wolf grandpa." Of course, before the word grandpa, the papa word was cut out.

"Hyung, I swear I can't work here if every single one of them fuck things up like this every day. I am tired of making their new identities and fake passports. I didn't sign up for this. Either you give me a secretary, or a raise, or give me a break, we can talk after that!" A boy whined from a corner behind a screen of a laptop as soon as they entered the room.

"Tae..." Namjoon shushed him softly.

The boy named Tae looked up from the screen and instantly fall silent but unlike the people outside, his face lit up a little.
"Soekjin Hyung!!"

Jin slightly nodded at the widely grinning boy and took sit in front of Namjoon's chair.

The boy named Tae came towards them and he bowed respectfully to Arya and brightly grinned,
"My name is Kim Taehyung, Sunbaenim. It's nice to meet you."

"likewise." Arya nodded towards the stunningly attractive boy in front of her. How come this place brought all the fine-looking men in one place?

"Taehyung is in charge of our IT and cybercrime division." Namjoon introduced and looked at him,
"Tae, go now. Send me the papers by afternoon and I sent some emails. Check those."

Taehyung responded positively and walked towards the door.

Arya sat on a chair.
Following her curious gaze, Namjoon looked at the odd but childishly cute cartoon on the wall and smiled, "You like it?"

"You forgot to instruct your interior designer properly."

Namjoon laughed, "It's those brats' work. Jungkook drew this one," Namjoon touched the caricatured wolf on the wall which was perfectly drawn despite drawing carelessly.
"And Jimin and Taehyung compete for  writing new words they invent."

Arya smiled, "Quite courageous for drawing on superior's wall."

"We were on the same team during services." Namjoon smiled, "my call sign was 'The Grey Wolf'. Hence the wolf." He pointed at the wolf amusedly. "Now I am stuck on desk job instead of the field, so they tease me calling weak dog or old Papi."

"Joon?" Jin broke the conversation between the two.

"Ah, yes, hyung. I arranged everything you asked. You'll leave as soon as our agents find the whereabouts of the big fish out there."

Jin nodded.

"Take care of things you need to do in the meanwhile. It will be quite the drama this time."

Jin again nodded.

Namjoon got busy on the phone after.

It was taking time, but Arya was impatient. It was never in her nature to sit still. She was clicking her heel impatiently on the floor while fiddling on the paper in front of her making a paper frog.

After making the frog, she again had nothing to do. Checking out every corner of the room an infinite number of times, she was itching to do something. She took the paper frog and leaned towards Jin, "Hey, Jin, wanna see something fun?"

"No." The reply was bland.

"Rude." Arya straightened her posture and instantly forgot the previous comment and grinned, "Hey Jin..."

She stopped seeing Namjoon put down the intercom and looked at them, "Chief will see you now. Both of you."

Jin got up without a word and went out.
Arya followed him and halted to wave goodbye towards Namjoon.

Namjoon smiled and opened a file in front of him, "She hadn't changed a bit."

"So the good boy is back!" Soojin's sarcastic voice was heard, "I was afraid that bugs might have eaten you."

Arya peeked from behind Jin.
She didn't see Jin's face, but he saluted teasingly towards the said girl which was totally out of his character.

Soojin was a lively woman with lovely features.
But her eyebrows formed an instant frown as soon as she saw Arya with Jin.

Arya self-consciously looked at herself wanting to find any awkward inappropriate mess.
Yes, she was in a shirt with a black biker's jacket and jeans. Her trainers were a bit old yet useful.

She was a bit shabby beside the prim and proper tall man beside her, but it's the field she couldn't care any less either.

Her appearance wasn't something extraordinary or fancy, but passable.
So what is it with that look? It felt as much raged as much it was of disappointment.

"Go in. He is waiting for you."  Soojin's face was expressionless this time, jaws clenching a little tighter.

"Hello." Arya bowed towards her with a friendly smile which she easily ignored looking back on the files on her desk.

Arya was squinting hard to read the title of the books on the fourth shelf behind the opposite side of the desk. The room was old-fashioned but with the sturdiest environment, she had seen here until now.

"Are you listening?" The deep voice echoed in her ears and getting distracted for the fourth time of trying to figure out the name of the book, she whined inside her head.

"Yes, boss." She sighed and averted her gaze from the shelf to the man with a cigar in between his fingers.

"So here is our proposal. We appreciate what you have done so far and we will forever remain grateful for that."

"Appreciate that, boss." Arya sighed and tried to smile a little, "But screw your proposal, I want to give my proposal."

"Very well." The cheif shrugged a little.

He predicted before that probably the proposal of his about Arya coming back to the agency or getting rewarded would be ignored completely.

"How about giving me my previous records so that at least I know why I was here, what was my purpose or why should I be here?"

"Fair enough." the cheif nodded in appreciation.
"But, for your information, those records had to be erased so that North Korea doesn't find any previous record about you in South Korea."

"How could you do that?" Arya was annoyed and a bit furious.

The cheif calmly intervened, "I understand your frustration, AA3. But that was your idea and you erased those records with your own hands, not us."

"And you listened to that lunatic?" Arya rolled her eyes with disappointment.

"Words by words." This time a slight smile appeared in the corner of the old man's lips.

Arya laughed a bit, "I like a boss who listens."

"Likewise." The cheif whiffed a mouthful of aromatic smoke.

"So, would you do it? We can arrange for you to get your previous position back if you agree. NIS has your name on their blacklist, we can make it happen to go away."

"I thought this was NIS." Arya frowned slightly.

"Yeah, but only in name." he shrugged.

"Not in real life?"Arya was confused.

"Yes, and No." He smiled seeing the girl's confusion.
"Well, in the paper, we don't exist to be precise."

"Care to explain, boss?" Arya impatiently waved at him, "this girl can't keep patience for too long."

"In NIS, you'll find a lot of information on national and international politics games. NIS practically single-handedly controls the fate of the giant corporations or political parties with the resources they have, which have every influence over law enforcement or information beyond reach. They know everything. What do you think what problems come with this depth?"

"Bias and politics." Answered Arya.

"Yes. The organization has so many people, internal politics, conflicts with the people in power, dirt. So here we are, the rescue."

"I am liking the dramatic way you say it." Arya chuckled, "Good job."

The cheif smiled, "It is a special branch of NIS which in the paper doesn't have a separate identity. But in reality, we are working as a team free from political wars, unbiased, fast, and based on raw information, clarity, and workforce."

"A spy organization within a spy organization? Interesting."

"That being said," the cheif added,
"Only the extraordinary people are called to serve here, and you are one of them."

"What happens if we get caught during any assignment we get?"

"The usual." He was indifferent, "as in paper we don't exist, neither NIS nor the government will acknowledge us and straightforwardly deny our existence and let us die on our own."

"Cool."

"So what you say? Wanna join back?"

"As much as I loved to know about myself, I am starting to value my life a bit more cheif," Arya smiled guiltily.
"What will happen if I want to quit?"

"We'll respect that." He was quick to answer.

"Then sorry cheif, these last few years were hell for me. My whole life turned upside down and after running for so long, I think I may need that rest." Arya apologized.

"I understand."

"You know cheif, I just want to breathe without fear for some time, lead a normal life like the girls of my age do. I missed so much of my life which I want to catch. I'll take that chance."

The cheif nodded understandingly and said softly, "Then good luck with the retirement AA3. Hope you find your resolutions with this choice. But just so you know, this chance will remain open for you if you ever want to come back."

"Appreciate that, boss." Arya shouted at him smilingly, "but...what exactly I should do? Hand in some resignation letter or what?"

"Don't forget, you still are practically nonexistent in our record. So, no need." The cheif smiled.

"Hey, boss," Arya grinned.

"Yes?"

"You know you are cool?"

Light laughter escaped the old man's lips, "Didn't doubt for once."

"On second thought, I might have fallen for you if you were available in age."

"Are you implying I am too old?"

"Aren't you?" Arya laughed.

"Don't forget I am still your boss who can deny your request for resignment." The cheif was smiling.

"Come on! I know you won't do that." Arya grinned.

Arya was waiting on the couch in the waiting room outside the chief's office. Like always, she was impatient and scanning the room with tired and sneaky eyes. She was waiting for Jin to come out of the chief's room when suddenly Soojin entered the room.

"AA3?"

"Yes?" Arya was a bit curious about the cold attitude of this girl earlier.

Soojin walked closer towards her.

"Something you want?" Arya was a bit hesitant.

"Yes." She stopped at a little distance away, "I don't know what you are thinking you are doing, but whatever it is, stop."

Arya was seriously puzzled.

Soojin's one hand suddenly grabbed her collar and yanked her closer roughly.

Arya's response was quick, but she soon realized that Soojin wasn't a normal secretary and she could easily escape her counterattacks or defense and held her in a tight hold not losing the grip on her collar.

The difference is, this time her face was even closer to the point she could see the brown specks on Soojin's dark iris.

"I don't care if you remember anything or not like they say," Soojin's voice was cold, "And I don't give a shit either if we had buried you before or your so-called death. And I can't care less about how you managed to live even after I witnessed you being buried six feet under. What I care about is your selfish presence around Seokjin."

"What?" Arya was confused yet annoyed with this sudden attack.

"Stay away from him." Her voice was cold as ice.

"Can't do so." Arya's eyes were on fire. "I don't know who you are or why are you so eager to make me stay away from him, but I won't go away unless he wants me to go."

"If you hurt him..." Soojin's voice was ice cold.

"He is a man. I can guarantee that he can speak for himself without you babysitting him like you are doing so. Hands off me." Arya striped Soojin's fists away from her collar and scoffed bitterly, "Pathetic shit."

Jin entered the room at the same time Soojin walked out with a livid expression on her face.

"Noona?" Jin called her back gently before she leaves and looked towards Arya who carelessly shrugged at him.

"Did you hear?" the usual smile again appeared on her face in seconds, "I am jobless now."
