Chapter VII
*************************************
POV: Aria, Duchess of Uniqueness
I love flying on planes, as long as I'm next to the window. I was sitting in my favourite seat next to Rae, when I noticed she was gripping the arms of her seat.
"Hey, are you okay?", I asked, hoping to find out why she was strangling the seat.
"I. Hate. Long. Flights." She was a subject to Uniqueness, so it's my job to make sure she was okay. I put my hand on her shoulder. She jumped a little.
"It'll be a-okay, promise~" I tried to be as friendly and helpful as possible, but I was tired. Really tired. She gave a small, uneasy smile, then asked me how much sleep I got the night before.
"Three hours, but, you know; I've been busy making sure is perfect."
She looked at me like I was crazy.
"Dude. Sleep, now. Right now. Don't even think about saying 'no'."
I started to retaliate, but she wasn't having it. I sighed and leaned up against the window. As soon as My head hit the side of the plane, I was out cold.
When I woke up, we were on the ground. Yay, another three hours of sleep...I started to drift off, but was awoken by the blaring announcement from the pilot.
"Ladies and gentlemen, on behalf of the crew of this aircraft, I'd like to thank you for choosing American Airlines, and welcome to New York City." His voice was monotone, but nonetheless, there was clapping. Then, Corrie squealed in excitement.
Yep, no way I'm going back to sleep now. As soon as the plane came to a halt, a rush of people got off. The FreaksOfInsanity held off. We got off and went into the airport.
"I'm back, b****es!!!", Corrie screamed.
