"Chloe Bourgeois? Artemis, we both remember what happened with Hawk Moth, she can't be trusted!" A male voice said as Lupin was swinging across Paris.

Landing on a rooftop he replied "She's gotten better. I really think the spider will be safe with her, and if I thought I was wrong, I would use justification to see her true intentions!"

He paced back and forth as the other voice said "What miraculous are left?"

Lupin sighed and responded "Just the last one, you remember the deal we made. Didn't you say you'd be coming to Paris tomorrow?"

He heard a hum of confirmation and the other voice said "I'll be there by 3 in the morning."

As Lupin was waiting on his roof, he heard Mistress land behind him.

"Word has it you chose another holder, the bug and cat won't be pleased."

"Oh come on, what are they going to do? Throw a fit?"

He heard sirens and out the corner of his eyes saw a flash of red.

"You ever hate being wrong Lupin?" Mischief teased.

He nodded and the two got up, Carapace at the duo's sides.

Ladybug and Cat Noir came down and she said "Lupin, your recent actions have left us no choice.... We're bringing you to the police!"

He glared at the before saying "Are you insane?! I'm the only one who knows how to beat these guys!"

Ladybug sighed and said "Carapace, you can have him."

Carapace smirked and threw his shield, bouncing it off the wolf's head, back into his own hand.

Cat Noir went with him, the 3 going down into the alley. Lupin looked up at them, seeing the two fist bump.

"You guys are idiots!"

Cat Noir threw his staff, Lupin dodging, letting Carapace shield hit him. Her muttered a curse, knowing that the heroes had more experience in teamwork.... But he did too.

He touched the side of his head, saying "Tripwire, NOW!"

Red strands of spider silk wrapped around them all, all the heroes getting pulled together.

"What the- what is this stuff?!" Carapace asked.

From above Ladybug, a girl with a mask covering her eyes, red lenses present, a red suit like ladybugs, feet and hands black, the back parts of the suit had white covering it, with 7 bright red-orange spots as well.

Black lips stared at Ladybug and the girl said "Nice to see you all! Do you like my suit? Call me Tripwire!"

Lupin walked over with a smug look saying "You bite my hand, I bite yours. You might be the guardian of the miraculous, but you know the problem?"

He whispered the last part of it into her ear.

"You don't realize, that you've challenged the nerve of someone with much more hero experience than you. I've been here longer, and I've got my own miracle box to flaunt. So keep coming at me, and I'll make sure that your name will only ever amount to a bedtime story...."

He back up and said "Come on guys, I know where Corvid Queen was last spotted, so charge your Kwami's and meet me at this location."

He sent them a message and they left.

He and his friends ended up at a large warehouse, multiple cars parked outside.

Tripwire looks and says "So, what's the plan?"

Lupin sighed and said "It looks like these guys haven't gotten any Reaper yet. We gotta destroy it all before then. I'll keep Corvid Queen busy, you guys handle the rest!"

He went over to the window, watching her speak. "Hello everyone! As you know my business in Florida was brought down.... But now I have a brand new strain that you've never seen before!"

She held up a syringe with a black wing on it, showing it off to the crowd.

"I call it: Deceit. Let's just say, you won't just get a high from this one...."

The sound of glass breaking was heard, and Silver Lupin landed on her stage.

"Corvid Queen, you don't have to do this, it's not too late to turn back." He said taking a slow approach.

"Oh Lupin, how wonderful of you to show up! I can now give a demonstration of my power.... By killing you!"

She then smirked and shouted "STUMBLE!"

She brought out a black an white marble, throwing it at him. When it burst, he immediately felt off.

He hunched over, covering his mouth from the sudden nausea that washed over him. He looked up at Corvid Queen, seeing her walk over.

'I'm seeing spots and the floor won't stop moving! Did she increase her output?!' He thought barely standing.

He knew she'd gotten stronger, but this wasn't humanly possible.

He then noticed the smirk that she held, and the reality became clear.... She finished her miracle strain on Reaper.

"And there it is.... Yes, once you're out of the way, Reaper will hit the open market! No heroes will be able to stop it! Then I'll truly be a queen, unlike your pathetic mother!"

He snapped.

"JUSTIFICATION!".

He sent a blade at her, it being absorbed into her body. He grabbed onto her neck, raising her into the air.

"Honest with the most truth! How do you know my mother?! TALK!"

He heard police sirens approaching, so he never got the answer.

She smirked, before a punch knocked her unconscious. He grappled away and went onto the roof of the place, rain pouring down. He increased the volume on his voice modulators and let out a howl. He grappled away, heading to Lila's place.

Lila and Chloe were waiting for him, both concerned with his lack of presence.

"Something doesn't feel, right, he should've arrived by now!" Lila said concerned.

"Since when do you care? Maybe it's just the fox's karma for all the bad things you've done!" Chloe retorted.

Lila glared at her before they heard a window slide open, Lupin coming through.

"And where have you been?!" Chloe scolded him.

He then changed back, flopping onto Lila's bed. They heard snoring and Lila sighed.

"Chloe, start heading back, Neru needs to recharge for your next transformation, and you need sleep. I can take care of him tonight." Lila said, grabbing a blanket.
