Neji POV

"See you later." I said as I closed the door to the hyuga compound. I walked in the direction of TenTen's house. The sun was shining causing me to squint my eyes. As I was trying to keep my calm, I passed Ichiraku's. There was a good chance that Naruto would be in there since he literally breathes ramen. Really I would rather not want to see him since he can be so annoying, but I needed all the help I could get. I checked and asked Teuchi if he had seen Naruto this morning.

"Well I think I saw him running past here at about 11:10. He was sprinting like he had just seen a ghost." Teuchi said.

"Oh I see. Well, if Naruto passes here again tell him I was looking for him." I informed him and started to walk away.

"Wouldn't you like some ramen while your here, sir?" the ramen guy asked.

I had forgotten that I haven't ate yet this morning thanks to the dilemma. Although I am not very fond of ramen, I was hungry. But I needed to focus on the situation at hand.

"Thank you but I must get going." I excused myself. Just when I was about to take another step, I heard a familiar voice.

"They're the same thing!"

I sweat dropped realizing who it was immediately. I walked to them to see what was going on, but I stopped in my tracks. They looked.... gay.

Naruto was holding Sasuke's hand affectionately like they were lovers. Naruto was looking deep into Sasuke's onyx eyes passionately. Their faces were inches apart looking as if they were about to kiss. They were both breathing heavily, their chest moving in sync.

I couldn't make out what they were saying and tried to read their lips. They looked like they were arguing until Naruto looked down.

"Sasuke... I love you." Naruto confessed.

I choked on my imaginary coffee at his romantic words. How the hell did I not know they were gay?

"Come on Sasuke stop being a little bítch!" Naruto exclaimed irritated with Sasuke's attitude.

"I could say the same thing to you!" Sasuke snapped making Naruto even more annoyed. "And stop trying to hold my hand!"

"We gotta get to Grandma Tsunade to try and see what the hell is going on!"

"Well at least slow the fuck down!"

"Look, I'm just trying to find a way to fix this mess! So if you wanna stay a duck forever the fine!"

"I'm not a duck I'm a hawk!"

"They're the same thing!"

"Are not!"

"Are to!"

"Are not!"

"Are to!"

"Are not!"

"Are t-" He stopped myself mid word.

"Ugh we're not gonna get anywhere here if we just keep shouting at eachother. So let's just at least stop bickering like we're an old married couple, and work on fixing the situation at hand."

Sasuke said nothing for a moment then responded, "Wow. You actually said something smart that I agree with."

The blonde's face brightened at the comment, happy that Sasuke praised him.

"...For once." Sasuke addded.

Well, nothing could last forever right?

Just when he was about to snap back Naruto noticed Neji walking this way.

"Hey Neji! Long time no see hasn't it?" Naruto greeted.

Sasuke tugged on his shirt causing the blonde to look at him confusingly.

"Look closely at Neji. See anything different?"

He averted his eyes from Sasuke to Neji to see what he was talking about. He squinted my eyes to realize that Neji had long bunny- like ears on his head.

"Oy, why is Neji dressed like a rabbit." Naruto asked out of curiosity.

"You idiot! Do you really think Neji would dress like a rabbit and come out for people to see?"

Before he could answer the rhetorical question, Neji said, "I had no idea you two were a couple."

Naruto and Sasuke both mouth dropped, dumbfounded by his remark.

"What makes you say that?!" They shouted in sync.

Neji's pale eyes trailed down to their joined hands with a idiotic look.

The two so called lovers quickly got the idea and snatched their hands away. "No it's not like that at all. I would never date this dobe even to save human kind."

"I wouldn't go out with Sasuke-teme if my whole life depended on it."

"Wow how could I even think that up?! Of course their not dating. I mean, they hate each other! I have really bad lip reading skills." Neji thought.

Sasuke was just about to snap but was interrupted by Neji. "So you guys we're victims too?" Neji asked.

Naruto and Sasuke gave him both a questioning look. Neji added on, "I mean we all look like half human half animal."

They both sweat-dropped realizing that he had just noticed this.

"Man, how did Neji ever become a jonin when he couldn't even see that we looked like this until now?!" Naruto thought. "And why does he sound so calm?!"

"Yeah. We don't know how this happened though." Sasuke answered.

"Me neither. Where were you guys headed?"

"We were heading to the kage's tower. What about you?"

I was heading to go see one of my teammates."

A/n: they sound way too casual right now. Lol 😂

"Well good luck with that. Hey, once we're done looking for them do wanna head to the training grounds? I was planning on bringing everyone there to see what with this strange situation." Naruto said.

"Yes, I'll bring TenTen, Lee, and Hinata." Neji agreed.

Naruto's fox ears perked up at the name of Neji's cousin. "So Hinata is like this too?"

Neji was confused why Naruto would be concerned with that, but answered with a nod.

"Hn. Come on Naruto, we gotta go." Sasuke said taking a few steps towards the hokage's tower.

Oh, NOW YOU WANNA GO, BUT WHAT ABOUT EARLIER WHEN YOU KEPT COMPLAINING HUH?!" Naruto yelled growing a large tic on his head.

"Well you were dragging me and that was annoying. But now I wanna go. Unless... you don't want to anymore." Sasuke cooly replied.

Naruto cursed under his breath before saying, "Bye Neji. Don't forget to meet at the training grounds!" And with that Naruto left with Sasuke to go see the hokage.

I bet you're wondering why Sasuke didn't say goodbye to Neji by now. Well Sasuke felt threatened by Neji's fabulousness and wanted to kick him in his fabulous balls. But he decided not to and to just not say goodbye to him. Just kidding. Now back to the story. 😂

Neji was left standing in the middle of the street, still distraught by the situation. How did they become this way? Why did it happen to us? And most importantly can we fix this mess?

As he was thinking he noticed quite a few stares coming his way. He decided it would be best if he headed for TenTen's house right away.

And with that, Neji sought out to the weapon user.

Third chapter! So how did you guys like it? I tried to put a little humor into it before we get into more serious chapters. :D

I got 1260 words in here! That's the longest chapter right now.
