It's been one whole year since Red left me and mom to go on his Pokemon journey with his starter Charmander. Blue and even Green (Green is the female character choice in leaf green fire Red) left on a journey, Blue got Squirtle, and Green got Bulbasaur. 

Oh right, I forgot to introduce Myself, I'm Jake, Red's 15 year old brother, the only people that care about me are my mom and Red, but Red doesn't even talk to me. . . So, I don't know how he actually feels about me. 

When I turned ten years old, Prof. Oak didn't offer me to send me on a journey with a Pokemon, but he offered all the other kids in town to go on a journey together when they turned ten. So, I'm stuck with mom, until Oak offers me a Pokemon or I save enough to buy myself some Pokeballs I'm almost at 200¥ to buy myself a Pokeball.

"Hey, Mom, I'm off to the lab to pick up the last of the money I need to buy a pokeball from the store in the next town."

"Alright son be careful," Mom said to me before I walked out the door.

When I reached the door of the lab I opened it and walked inside. "Hey Prof. Oak I'm here to buy my Pokeball since you have the rest of my money."

Oak walked out of the room and handed me 5 Pokeballs, "No need my boy here are 5 Pokeballs and over there is the Pokedex I've been building for you all year."

"Wait, you didn't forget that this year I'm finally 15 and it's 5 years past when I was supposed to go on my journey?" I asked with shock in my voice.

"Of course not, I've just not had time to actually give you a Pokemon."

"Why didn't you just go catch one?" I asked.

"Because I wanted yours to be more special and let you catch your own very first Pokemon," Professor Oak explained to me.

"Oh alright, so I'm forced to catch a pidgey or rattata as my starter Pokemon," I said with a hint of sarcasm in my voice.

"Oh don't be that way, they are both excellent starter Pokemon."

"Oh sure ask youngster Joey, how he's been he hasn't won a single battle yet."

"Fine whatever, just go to the next town and stay out of the grass and you'll be able to find a different Pokemon. Now, if you'll excuse me I have important research to do."

"Alright whatever," I said putting the Pokeballs in my backpack and slipping the Pokedex into my pocket. I slipped out the door and went back home to tell mom that I was finally leaving to go on my adventure finally. 

On my way home I found a strange Pokemon walking through town. I pulled out my Pokedex and scanned it, "Eevee the evolution Pokemon, Eevee's DNA is so unstable that it can evolve into 3 different Pokemon, with help from three stones, A thunderstone, a Firestone and a Waterstone." 

The Eevee in the picture was brown so why was this one Silver? I walked up to it, "Hello my name's Jake, are you lost little fellow?" I know Pokemon can understand humans so maybe he will point out where his home is, but that was when the unexpected happened.

"Hello Jake, I'm not lost I just don't have a home," the Eevee said before it started tearing up.

I jumped in surprise, "Wait, why can I understand you?"

Eevee look at me,"You mean all humans can't?", Eevee asked me.

I responded with," No, I don't think any other human can understand Pokemon."

"Huh? Weird, all Pokemon can understand humans."

"Oh thanks for clearing that up, I wondered why all Pokemon used the move their trainers wanted them to," I said, unable to contain my sarcasm.

"True, so um can I ask you a question?" Eevee asked.

"Sure, since I can understand you."

"Would you be my trainer and my home" Eevee asked shyly. 

I smiled, "Sure, I'd love to be your trainer since I was looking for a Pokemon to be my starter." I pulled out my Pokeball, "So, what is your name little Eevee?" 

"My name is Silvia, cause I'm silver, though I'd like to be Vaporeon." (A/n: my favorite Pokemon is Jolteon but I wanna make Silvia a Vaporeon because of its shiny being awesome and purple.) 

"Alright, Silvia, when I get a water stone I'll make you a Vaporeon."

"Thanks, Jake, I appreciate it."

"No problem, Silvia," I said before I tapped Silvia in the head with a Pokeball and caught her. 

"Finally I'm now an official trainer and I can now travel the region"  I said with true joy in my voice.

Soon after that I walked home and told my mom what had happened except I left out how I could understand Silvia and about our conversation. "So, this is it, Mom, I'm finally a trainer. I promise to come back and visit, unlike Red and Blue and Green. Though, I'm sure Red is about to be the champion, though after he does it won't be soon until I become the Kanto region Champion, and with Silvia, my Eevee, it won't be that hard. I can already see it, me, the champion of Kanto."

Mom smiled and laughed, "I know you will son, just know Mom will always love you and you're always welcome back for some rest and some clean clothes."

"Thanks mom I appreciate this, I love you," I told my mom.

"I love you too, sweetie. Be safe and have an amazing journey around Kanto with Silvia."

"Bye mom" I said while walking out the door waving goodbye. 
This is it the first step to be coming a Pokemon master and being the very best like no one ever was (A/n: sorry I had to it was perfect timing  XD) 
I stepped out to the edge of town here it begins.

A/n I hope you guys enjoyed part one of my new story I've had writer's block so it took me a while to finish, but oh well cause here it is have a wonderful day/night and peace  Btw, this is my first story with over 1000 words so, Yay!
