Years later, I grew up and left my tribe. I didn't leave because I hated my birthplace, I just was an independent fox, living on my own. I soon became a loner, hunting only for myself. I lived in an ancient tree, with water underneath. This is because when the hind walkers move the animals years ago, they put the tree on top of the lake. Half of the world was infested with robots, so they booted all animals to the upper half and the hind walkers who wanted to leave. Anyways, back to the present. I was out hunting, checking the scent every few moments to see what I can find it. I was passing the border between the Autumn tribe and the Summer tribe. The chilly weather quickly changes to a fun warm atmosphere. I was about five steps in the territory when I smelled a bird. My stomach ached for food. I quickly pounced on the prey and took it's life. As I gobbled up my feathery catch, I heard a call. I pricked my ears and strained to hear it again. "Help!" It was a young she-fox, about my age. "Hello?" I answered. "Help!" It came again. I sniffed the air. She-fox, check. In distress, check. From Autumn? And Autumn fox in Summer territory? Something was definitely wrong. I followed her sent to a dark clearing. "Hello?" Still no answer. I was starting to get scared. "Dawn, keep it together." I said to myself. "You are very br-" at that moment another fox pounced on me like pray. "What do we have here?"
