Newspapers and A Dead Prat
(A/N I am normally soft, no scratch that I'm more sarcastic, but still, NO HATE. )

I stare at the Newspaper headlights as I bring in the mail. 9 injured and 1 dead in a snake accident. Looks innocent enough. I delve forward into the story hoping my suspicions have been right about it being innocent. I was wrong. Apparently they were trying to fight this girl (not very flattering in my opinion) and she pulled out a (I'm using scientific terms here) "rare snake that doesn't exist" however they are calling it a snake because there were no fingerprints on the bodies at all so it couldn't have been the girl as the thugs all protests. The one died is named Brian Wentworth. Sounds like a spoiled rich prat.
"December I thought I told you not to read the newspaper. You're to young" my foster father, Jon, scolds as he opens the door right before I run into it. His eyes hold a twinkle and a smile and I smile before handing him the paper and go inside. My good mood is ruined shortly after
"Eat your damn food before it gets cold you have school in half an hour" my foster mother, Janet , says sharply before rushing around at my foster sister Sophie with her bid. I sigh and grab my slice of toast bight it then say
"It's burnt"
"I don't care if it's burnt or not. Eat it" Janet hisses with all the force of a wild cat.
"You sound like a cat" I blurt out.
Janet screams then yells "Jon take her to school. I can't deal with this child" Jon chuckles and grabs his car keys. I race out the door.
If your wondering what happened to my parents their dead. I don't know what happened and honestly I don't care. My mother left me on a doorstep with a note saying, putting this bluntly, that she was dying and didn't want me anymore so clearly I have no want for any type of rekindling with my family. (Apparently Janet is on of my distant Aunts, and she's bad enough)
I walk out of the door with Jon but before we get to the car. I look at my watch.
"Uh Jon, I have one hour before we have to go. Can I walk with April?" I ask and bag my eyes in a pleading way.
"Yeah go ahead. Have an eventful day" Jon responds with a smile
"Yeah right" I snort and keep walking. "Nothing ever happens in Willow"
