PROLOGUE

THE PLAN

"Why do I have to come with you?" Lefu complained as one of his best friends, Thanatos, dragged him to the library at Hogwarts. Lefu absolutely did not want to be there at all. Out of  all his sixth years at being at the Wizarding school, Lefu could count the number of times he had been into the library on one hand. It didn't take much to see that Lefu was not at all interested in his grades. Just as long as he lived his life the way he wanted.

"Because Le," Thanatos began in an exasperated tone, having had to explain this multiple times to the younger boy. "I need to study and I think it would do you good if you did as well. It doesn't hurt, you know."

"I know," Lefu mumbled under his breath, he didn't like being treated and talked down to as if he were a little kid.

Thanatos simply nodded in response and walked into the library, as the two had stopped in front of the door when they had their little conversation.

Almost immediately after they got there, Thanatos became so engrossed in "The Standard Book of Spells", that he didn't pay Lefu any attention. Seeing as the Gryffindor had no actual interest in studying, this left him alone and bored.

"Than," Lefu called his friend's name, hoping that Thanatos might see how miserable he was and let him leave. Or better yet, have them both leave and do something much more fun. Lefu even had a few ideas in mind. Now, Lefu could've just left, having Thanatos notice his absence hours later however, he was a good friend and he didn't want to leave the Ravenclaw alone.

When Thanatos didn't answer him, Lefu huffed and left the table which he had been previously sitting at with Thanatos, beginning to wander around the library. At least this way, Lefu wouldn't have totally left Thanatos and hopefully he'd find something – or someone, to occupy him.

However, who he found had ended up being one of his conquests from the previous night. Lefu bit his lip, wondering if what he was about to do was a good idea, before sighing in defeat and walking over to the boy. He wished that he could have ignored him but the boy – Jonathan Stewart, Lefu believed his name was – excitedly waved him over to his table. Lefu wasn't excited about what he would have to do, but he knew it would have to happen sooner or later.

"Hey Jonathan," Lefu said casually, sitting across from the boy. He leaned back in his chair when the boy reached across the table trying to kiss him, but the redhead got the point and sat back down with a sorry look on his face.

"Hi Lefu," Jonathan said in excitement, unable to conceal his blush as he remembered the events of the night before.

Lefu could tell that the boy was going to mention something about the previous night and how they should do it again sometime. It's what everyone always said so he wouldn't be surprised. It was always a night filled with pleasure followed by a day of heartbreak as Lefu made them realize that he didn't do repeats and he definitely didn't date. And that's exactly what he was about to tell the Ravenclaw boy sitting across from him.

"Look Jonathan," Lefu began in a bored tone, used to repeating the same speech, simply changing the name. "Last night was good, I won't deny that, you weren't bad for your first time and I definitely enjoyed hearing that mouth of yours." This caused Jonathan to smile shyly and blush beet red. Then Lefu leaned forward and gave the boy a hard look, resulting in his smile dropping.

"But I don't do repeats and I don't date. You know that. I told you that before anything happened and you're a Ravenclaw, I'm sure you're smart enough to see what happens to everyone else who enjoys my company," he added that part with a smirk. "So don't come back asking for more. Or actually, just don't bother coming back at all. Oh and remember that if you do, I still have that picture of you. And I'm sure you wouldn't want your family and everyone at Hogwarts to see that, now would you?"

———

James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew – also known as 'The Marauders', were all sat round a table in the library.

They were doing their homework when they all heard a loud sob, all of their heads looking up to find a red-haired boy running out of the library while crying his eyes out. They looked to where the boy had come from and it came to no surprise to any of them that Lefu was sitting at the table that the crying boy had been at previously.

They all knew what had happened, having witnessed a similar sight too many times (sometimes even a day) to count. And they all had different reactions to it.

Remus watched the boy leave in sympathy, Peter glared at Lefu, James clenched his jaw and Sirius snapped his quill.

As they were all stuck in their minds about how horrible The Horsemen were, none other than Lefu came up to them with a cocky smirk on his face.

"Hey boys," he greeted in a flirty, sultry tone, slightly swaying his hips as he walked up to them. He batted his eyelashes almost mockingly before chuckling and taking a seat on the table.

When all The Marauders did was glare at the boy. He got off the table, took a step back and raised his arms in surrender, all the while chuckling at his fellow housemates behaviour.

"Woah, you're some feisty boys aren't ya? I do like them feisty, makes for great fun in bed," he flirted, adding in a wink directed at Peter for good measure.

It worked as Peter (not to mention Remus) blushed, as they were not used to being flirted with however, their glares remained. Their group held too much hatred towards the boy and his friends that they would never fall for any of their tricks.

James growled low in his throat and him and Sirius stood up to give Lefu a withering glare, much more intense than they had been giving before. The four boys were like brothers and would always stand up for each other and at this moment, James and Sirius didn't want Peter or Remus to succumb to Lefu's trickery. Not that they willingly would anyway.

"Leave us alone, Lefu," James snapped, spitting out Lefu's name as if he was dirt, and in his eyes, he was.

"Yeah," Sirius chimed in, backing up his friends. "We're not interested in your or any of your friends and we never will be. Aren't as foolish as the others."

Lefu simply smiled at that and muttered under his breath, "You'll change your minds – they always do. And I always get what I want." And then his was gone with another wink and sway of his hips.

Sirius and James remained standing in their spots until Lefu disappeared from sight, before slowly sitting back down.

"The Horsemen need to stop." James said before rethinking his statement. "They need to be stopped."

The other three boys wholeheartedly agreed and they spent the next few minutes trying to think of ideas.

"I think..." Peter began quietly and timidly as he wasn't used to all the attention on him so he never really contributed ideas to the group. However, his friends turned to look at him when he spoke, so he cleared his throat before continuing in a slightly louder tone. "I think that we should hurt them, like they've hurt so many others."

Remus' face brightened and he smiled as an idea came to mind, praising Peter for the inspiration. "I got it!"
