Chapter 1: Stardust's Beginning

"A long time ago there were many tribes of wolves with unimaginable powers and skills who lived in peace with one another in Howling wolf Woodlands, a place we're hunters were ever spotted. There were wolves that can control water, lighting wolves, fire wolves, sky wolves, earth wolves Who is one with the earth around them, shadow wolves, and then finally, the unique wolves with psychic powers; some even believe that said wolves could create astral projects and communicate with the spirits of The dead. Things were going well during that time until some wolves started to think they were better than others and deserved power over certain territories. When this happened, war among the wolves, which caused the tribes to separate and go into hiding from other wolves to protect their tribes. However the war caused rumors that wolves who had specific eye color were dangerous and untrustworthy. Much has changed over the years, a world unaccepting of when it comes to the birth of pups like Stardust," The narrator said.

We now see a beautiful pink wolf lying inside a den panting out of breath. The under part of her tail is a lighter shade of pink compared to the rest of her body, that was darker pink, especially her neck and below her blue eyes.

"Wow she is so beautiful Faye," A female wolf with dark purple fur and blue eyes said looking at her best friend laying on the ground next to a beautiful wolf pup close to her side wrapped into her front paw

"Thank you Evelina," Faye smiled softly at her best friend standing in front of her.

"You did wonderful my daughter. Your father and your mate Magus will be so proud when they get on back from hunter," A female pastel pink wolf said as she walked into the den and towards the younger wolf laying down from exhaustion of giving birth to her pup.

"I hope so mom. She looks a whole lot different from the rest of our tribe, but I don't care. I have never seen white wolves in are tribe only know tribe with white well more bluish white is the water tribe. I believe her white and grey coat makes her special and even more beautiful," Faye said looking at her pup." My beautiful Stardust," She whispered licking her daughter face, causing her to yawn and open her eyes.

"My dear bestie look," Evelina gasped, causing Faye and Lavinia to look over at Stardust seeing her eyes.

"Her eyes. They are red," Faye said in surprised.

"That is definitely not normal," Evelina commented.

"And it is definitely not good. You know what the legends told from many years ago about wolves with usual eyes. We haven't seen one with usual eyes for years, especially a scarlet red like this," Faye said with concern in her eyes.

"Hmm. This is concerning your father, and I will look into to this with your grandparents. For now, she must be protected no matter what, " Lavinia said, getting ready to leave the den to talk to her mother about Stardust since she didn't know where her mate's parents were at the moment.

"Yes, of course, mother, I will protect her with my life," Faye yawned as she glanced at her pup.

"Well, I'll see you around, Faye. I', 'll let you see while I go spend time with my mate until the hunters get back," Evelina said, leaving Faye to sleep after giving birth.

"It has been four years now since the birth of Stardust, the young pup of Faye and her mate Magus, the Alpha leader of the Psychic tribe. Who was now officially four years old," The narrator said as a young Stardust was trying to wake up a sleeping Royal purple wolf lying next to an asleep Faye.

"Dad come on, dad, wake on up," She said, pawing at her dad's face trying to wake him on up.

The male wolf grinned as he turned his face sway from his daughter trying to get more sleep until another female voice ruined his slumber.

"Magus get on up your daughter awake," Faye muttered kicking her mates back.

"No before the sun up she is your daughter," Magus muttered continuing to sleep.

"Dad, dad, come on dad," Stardust said nibbling her father's left ear. "You promise to take me out for tracking lessons dad," She whined pawing at his face again.

"Okay I'm up," Magus said finally giving into his daughter whining.

"Yay!" Stardust cheered as she ran out of the den with her barely grow grey hair flapping near on her face slightly from her running.

Magus let out a loud yawn getting up along with Faye as they walk out of the den to catch up with there daughter Stardust who was waiting outside for them now.

Stardust happily bounce around circling her mother back paw, until she gently paw her forward towards her father. Magus smiled as he looked at his daughter and started walking away from the den and towards a clearing for tracking.

"Alright, listen up closely, Stardust," He said seriously as he looked up ahead s of the clearing. "The first and one of the most important steps to track is sniffing out the scent of the prey," He explained.

"Cool, what are we going to track down!" Stardust said, excited to be tracking just like her father, finally.

"Alright, Stardust calm down and focus," Magus stated, looking at Stardust. "Now we will start with something as simple as Raccoon."

"Why Raccoon, that's no fun to track. Why can't we track something more fun?"

"Stardust, your still young tracking something smaller like a Raccoon is easier for you," He said, walking through the clearing, He was sniffing and looking at Stardust. "Now use your nose and track that Raccoon over in the Bushes and lead me to where it going," He whispered into Stardust's ear.

"Yes, father," She replied, sniffing the ground as the bushes started rustling as a shadowy figure ran out of it from the other side of it.

"Now, once you pick Up the scent, follow it, and stay low and quiet so you or not detected."

"Yes, father," Stardust said, sniffing low toward the ground and focusing on the scent of the Raccoon as she slowly started following the direction of the scent.

"Good, now remember, stay low towards the ground."

Stardust nodded, she focused her is attention on the scent.

---------------------

"Come on, father!" Stardust shouted, She was running into the woods.

"Stardust, slow down, child. I'm coming, and don't forget the second rule of tracking," Magus said as he followed closely behind Stardust.

"There it is, father," Stardust said as she and her father crouched behind a tree to see the small gaze of a Raccoon in the field up ahead.

"Not a bad day of first tracking, but remember, stay quiet and low."

"I understand, father."

"Does that mean I can join you and grandfather on patrol later?"

"No, my daughter, you are way too young."

"Come on, Father," Stardust said cutely.

"No!"

"Please it will be fun."

"You still a pup. You are to stay safe and out of trouble. Your mother and I couldn't bare for something to happen to you. You're very special to us, you know," Magus said, licking Stardust's face.

"I hate when you say that because you always take away the fun," Stardust whined.

"Yeah, I know, being a pup is no fun sometimes, but I will tell you this, one day, we can go on your first hunt together when you improve," Magus replied with a smile.

"Really?" Stardust asked happily as she wagged her tail.

"Yes, really," Magus chuckled, placing a paw on Stardust's head and messing with her hair.

"Oh, father, you're the best!" Stardust shouted happily and began nuzzling her father's chest.

"Alright, chill out," Magus said, pushing back Stardust as he sniffed the air picking up a scent.

"What the matter, father?" Stardust asked. I

"You smell anything in the air?" He asked.

Stardust sniffed, looking around. "Yeah, odd terrible smell metallic, I think."

"Correct that the scent of blood isn't good," Magus said with an alarming look pushing Stardust behind him.

"What going on father? Why are the Raccoon running in fear, and it sounds like fighting?" Stardust asked, looking at father as he pushed her back.

"My sweet child, I need you to get out of here now, "Magus said, looking around for danger.

"But father, I want to help, please," Stardust growled, annoyed at her father's protectiveness.

"No buts, my child," Magus snapped, picking up Stardust with his mouth until he heard someone coming.

"Magus!" A male voice shouted, revEaling a blood-covered wolf with and a violet pixie hairstyle.

"Taffy!" Magnus shouted in concern.

"Get out of her, brother. Go! Dad and Faye are holding back the pack leader of the Shadow tribe as best as they can. They heard of a special wolf being born in the tribe," Taffy said as she collapsed on the ground as Magus and Stardust went over to her.

"Aunt Taffy, your hurt," Stardust said looking at her aunt worriedly.

"It's okay, pup. I will be fine," Taffy said as she nuzzled Stardust's leg weakly.

"Taffy!" Magus gasped, seeing Taffy cough up blood.

"I'm so sorry bro. I tried fighting back, but that Shadow wolf was too strong," Taffy said weakly as her head fell to the ground, before Magus nudged her in attempt to get a reaction.

"Taffy? Taffy! No!" Magus shouted fearfully as he whimpered seeing Taffy was barely breathing.

"Father what going on? Why is our tribe being attacked by Shadow Wolves?" Stardust asked, looking at Magus.

"My sweet child, the tribe is being attacked because wolves are looking for you. You're exceptional, and many wolves what to hurt you because of this. I need to get you out of here," Magus said sadly as he picked up Stardust, much to her annoyance.

"But I want to stay and help!" Stardust snarled as she tried to get loose from Magus's hold.

"It's not up for debate. Hang on, Faye, I will be there as soon as I can," Magus said as he runs off with Stardust.

After running for hours she came to a stop in a forest way from the main den of the tribe getting Stardust far away as possible.

"This should be far enough. Now you stay here and soon as you don't smell danger close by make a run for it. Never come back here. It's far too dangerous for a young pup like you," Magus said as he placed Stardust in a bush for safety.

"But father I don't want you to leave me. Please don't go," Stardust said sadly.

"I know my child but there no other way," Magus said nuzzling Stardust face.

"Please don't leave," Stardust whimpered beginning crying before Magus gave her one more nuzzle.

"Stardust no matter what happens to the tribe and me and your mother. You must not come back and always remember who you are outside and inside your heart, soul and willpower make you strong and beautiful. And it would help if you did not let the wolf that is attacking us and the rest of the tribe find you and use your power. For there not only rare, they make it your destiny to grow into a powerful wolf. Remember that you will always be my child and your mother, and I love you more than you believe. We are proud of you for how much you have grown, and even if we're not together anymore, your mother and I will always be inside of your heart to guide you. Stay strong and stay safe, my child," Magus said.

"Yes, mom, I understand," Stardust said sadly.

"That, my sweet child. Now run and don't look back!" Magnus said, keeping his ears out of the enemy. Stardust nodded sadly as she runs off with tears streaming down her face.
