Third Person POV

The next morning at the Metkayina village and the Sully family started waking up to get ready for the their training.

Jake: "Morning kids."

Lo'ak: "Morning dad."

Kiri: "Morning."

Neteyam: "Morning father."

Tuk: "Morning daddy."

Jake: "Get ready for your training understand?"

All: "Yes sir!"

As the parents watch their children leave the hut. Neytiri sees that Y/n is still asleep with his armor off.

Neytiri: "Jake, Y/n still asleep."

Jake sighs and he walks to his first born and started shaking him.

Jake: "Y/n wake up."

Y/n doesn't wake up.

Jake: "Y/n get up!"

Jake realize something that YN is sweating and breathing heavily in his sleep.

Y/n was getting visions about his time back in boot camp. About all of the hard training and stress he had. Then he got the vision about him and other kids going to get surgery. He remembered the pain of the surgery and scream of him and other kids and some of them even died.

Jake: "Y/n wake up!"

Y/n gasped and wakes up, he was sweating and breathing heavily and he sees everyone looking at him.

Jake: "Y/n what's wrong?"

Y/n: "Pills in my bag!"

Jake was confused at first but he goes in Y/n bags and sees a pill bottle but he realize that those are pills for PTSD. Y/n has PTSD!

Jake: "Here."

Jake gives Y/n the pills and he put it in his mouth and drink some water and swallow it.

Y/n: "Thanks..."

Jake: "What's wrong?"

Y/n: "Nothing just a nightmare..."

Jake: "Okay go on, go with your siblings to train."

Y/n: "Okay dad."

Y/n goes with his siblings as Neytiri and Jake watch him leave.

Neytiri: "Jake, what's with him?"

Jake: "He has PTSD."

Neytiri: "What is PTSD?"

Jake: "It's something when people experience made events and have nightmare about them like people who were in war and had a bad childhood."

Neytiri: "He's having nightmare about his childhood?"

Jake: "Probably when he was becoming a Spartan look Neytiri we gotta keep a eye on him."

Neytiri nodded and they leaves to meet with Tonowari and Ronal.

Y/n POV

After having a nightmare about my time back in boot camp. I left out the hut and I follow my siblings so we can learn the ways of the Metkayina.

Tsireya, Aonung, and Rotxo dive in the water first.

Neteyam: "Let's go!"

Lo'ak: "Woooooo!"

Neteyam and Lo'ak jump in the water then Kiri and Tuk also jump in after them leaving me left. Fuck it, I run and dive in the water, feeling the cold water touching my skin. Holding my breath I looked to the beauty of the ocean this place was really beautiful.

I look down to see my siblings following Tsireya, Aonung and Rotxo. I swam after them going deeper into the water but I started having trouble to breathe. So I swim up reaching the surface and I started to breathe as my siblings reach the surface.

Lo'ak: "Damn!"

Neteyam: "How long can they hold their breath?"

Tuk: "And they are too fast."

Y/n: 'Well they are sea Na'vi."

I put my head underwater and Tsireya was doing sign language. Which I didn't know what she said because I don't know sign language. So I gave her a confused look and Tsireya signal come on.

Me and my siblings go underwater again and we started following them but eventually we needed air so we swam up to the surface.

3rd POV

Aonung: {What's wrong with them?}

Rotxo: {Those guys are bad divers even the demon wearing black is a more bad diver}

Tsireya: {stop they're learning}

Y/n, Lo'ak, Neteyam, and Tuk stick their heads underwater and they saw Tsireya, Aonung and Rotxo swimming to the surface.

Tsireya: "Are you alright?"

Tuk: "You're too fast wait for us."

Tsireya: "Just breathe, breathe..."

Aonung: "You are not good divers, maybe good at swinging though trees."

Tsireya slap on the back of his head.

Aonung: "Ow!"

Lo'ak: "Come on bro."

Neteyam: "We don't speak this finger talk, guys we don't know what you're saying."

Y/n: "Yeah, I barley know sign language."

Tsireya: "I will teach you."

Rotxo: "Where's is Kiri?"

Tuk: "Kiri."

Aonung: "Who?"

Rotxo: "Kiri, where is Kiri?"

Tsireya: "Did you see her?"

Y/n: "I'll look for her."

Y/n took a deep breath and he goes underwater and swim off as he looked for Kiri and he eventually found her and he sees Kiri swimming with other sea creatures Y/n sees that as  interesting. She looked very beautiful as she swims with the sea creatures. After awhile Y/n eventually swam up to her and she turns around to see it's him and smiles at him. Then Y/n grabs her hand and they swam back to others.

TIMESKIP

The scene shows of Aonung clicking his tongue calling for something. Y/n was by Neteyam and Lo'ak then Y/n sees some of the sea life approaching them.

Aonung: "Those are ilu's. If you want to live here you have to ride."

Y/n looks around and then he saw Lo'ak go on a ilu. He stick his head underwater and saw Lo'ak holding on to dear life before falling off the ilu, Y/n couldn't help but laugh.

Aonung: "What are you laughing at demon boy? You can't even make a connection."

Y/n: "Hey, nothing's impossible if you don't try it first, so I'm gonna give it a try so get me a ilu."

Tsireya nodded and she brought over a ilu and help Y/n climb on.

Tsireya: "How are you able to ride without making the bond?"

Y/n: "I don't know but hey let's see if I can try."

Y/n started petting the ilu, telling it he was friendly.

Y/n: "Okay I'm ready."

Tsireya: "Hold here."

Y/n hold on to the reins.

Neteyam: "You got this bro."

Lo'ak: "Yeah, show them!"

Y/n took a deep breath and he started going fast the liu goes underwater. Y/n holds on tightly making sure not to be thrown off he started getting the hang of it and then he swim back to the group and goes to the surface and making the liu splashes Aonung in the face making everyone laugh.

Timeskip

The scene shows of Y/n in a circle with Tsireya, Kiri, Lo'ak, Neteyam, and Rotxo as they were learning how to breathe.

Tsireya: "Breathe in."

Tsireya took a deep breath as everyone followed along.

Tsireya: "And breathe out."

Everyone breathe out.

Tsireya: "Imagine flickering a flame, you must slow down your heartbeat."

Tsireya place her hands on Y/n chest making him blush a little but Tsireya also blush a little when she feels his muscular chest.

Tsireya: breathe in.

Y/n took a deep breath.

Tsireya: "Breathe from down here and breathe out slowly."

Y/n did what she said and breathe out slowly.

Tsireya: "Y/n your heartbeat is fast try to focus."

Y/n: "Okay..."

Y/n continued, then he sees Neteyam, Lo'ak, and Rotxo laughing. He gave them a look then he saw Kiri who had a jealous look.

The scene shows of everyone on ilu's and they were swimming around having fun and they swim to the surface. Y/n shakes his head as water flys off his head.

Y/n: "Man this is fun!"

Tsireya: you are learning to breathe."

Y/n: "Thanks."

Timeskip

The scene shows of Y/n with Tsireya sitting down on a rock. He was taking deep breath and he was learning the way of water.

Tsireya: "The way of water has no beginning and no end."

The scene shows of Y/n and Tsireya in the water and she throws a seashell in the water as it started to sink.

Tsireya: "The sea is around you and in you."

Y/n started taking a deep breath and he goes underwater and started swimming down following the seashell.

Tsireya: "The sea is your home before your birth and after your death. Our hearts beat in the womb of the world, our breath burns in the shadows of the deep. The sea gives and the sea takes, water connects all things life to death darkness to light."

Y/n caught the seashell and he looked up and saw how deep he was down underwater. He saw up top was the sunlight and the silhouette of Tsireya and he started swimming to the surface and made it up showing Tsireya the seashell in his hand.

Y/n: "I got it.l!

Tsireya: "You did it."

The scene of Kiri, Tsireya, and Tuk together underwater. Tsireya grab a jelly like creature and attached it to Tuk back.

Tsireya: [It gives breath underwater]

Roanl was grabbing a seashell and she saw Kiri controlling little tiny glowing fish as she hide behind a piece of coral. Then she noticed something she saw Y/n is swimming with other sea creatures that were surrounding him.

Ronal: (thoughts) "You are a interesting one human."
