Jack flew through the air, searching for any sign of Pitch and Mother Nature. As he approached the town where Jamie lived, he smiled as Jamie and his friends waved up at him. "Jamie!" he called. "Jack!" Jamie replied, throwing himself into Jack's arms. "You okay buddy?" Jamie nodded enthusiastically. "Have you seen, you know,... him?" Jamie nodded slightly. "Where?" Jack demanded. "I saw him last night, through my window. He was holding someone, a girl, I think. She was struggling a lot. Pitch was laughing." Jack nodded. "Thanks Jamie." "Is Pitch threatening you?" "No." Jack replied. "He's threatening everyone." Jamie's eyes widened. "Not by making people stop believing in us, by using nature against everyone. Which direction did Pitch go?" In a blink of an eye, Jack was gone in the direction Jamie had pointed.
Mother Nature, or as she liked to be called, Mimi, hated Pitch with all her heart. She had sent messages as quickly as possible to the other guardians, even though she was sure that her messages had died around the equator. "I should have used flames." She muttered. A knock sounded on a door. Mimi jumped and put her hands in a defensive position. "Relax." A young voice said. "I'm going to hurt you.
