Aryan looked at Shahana and she was signaling him to eat as he was just staring at her. He started eating while his eyes and thoughts were on Shahana. He noticed that she was wearing pretty ear rings.....

"So, how is it?" she asked curiously.

"Beautiful......" he replied dreamily.

"WHAT? How can food be beautiful? It is either tasty, yummy or delicious." she frowned in confusion.

"Oh...... The food.... I mean it's heavenly." he came back to his senses.

"See, I was correct. I always know the best for you." she had a slip of tongue.

"What did you say just now?" he asked purposively.

"I mean, I know what you and Ranbir like." Shahana tried to cover the slip up.

"Is it so.... or is it something else?" Aryan asked in a teasing tone.

Before Shahana could reply. Pranbir came and interrupted their moment.

"Have you finished eating? Let's go." Prachi said.

"Ok" Shahana went with her.

"Ughh. Do these guys have any enemity with me or what? Why they always interrupt me and Shahana? After all, we leave them alone." Aryan thought angrily.

They boarded the bus and after a bit chit chat, Pranbir went to sleep. Prachi's head was on Ranbir's shoulder and his head was on hers.

"Awww. They look cute together. Don't they?" Shahana adored the couple in front of them.

"Yeah. How are you now? You were so sad earlier." Aryan asked.

"I am fine now. All thanks to you. Also, I'm sorry." she apologized.

"Sorry?" he didn't know what she was apologizing for.

"I was so sad that I forgot to ask you why were you depressed in the morning?" she said.

"How did you know? I said I was just sick." he was surprised.

Shahana kept her hands on his and looked directly into his eyes.

"Look at me Aryan. You can lie to the whole world, not to me. I just wanted to ask you alone so I didn't say anything in the morning." she stated.

"It's so thoughtful of you. I won't lie to you, but I can't say the truth either." he said sadly.

"I won't force you. But I will give you a suggestion. Life sometimes throws  challenges at us but it is entirely our wish to be stuck with it or overcome it. Sometimes things are beyond our control. We should do nothing then and accept it like the grasses who bow before the storm and are safe whereas the strong trees break down. Last but not the least, follow your heart, but keep your brain as your bodyguard." she advised.

Saying these, she smiled at him. Her smile was like a balm to his wounded soul. She was the moonlight in his dark life. The only one to understand his true feelings.

After assuring Aryan, Sahana took out her personal diary and began writing in it.

Dear Diary,

I am very happy today. I have realized that Aryan is a true friend of mine. He is such a pure soul. I was a bit unhappy in the morning due to the reason you know by now but he instantly lifted my mood. Earlier you used to be the one who would only listen to me, the real Sahana but now I have someone who can understand me. I feel blessed to have him in my life. He is in some kind of dilemma. Though he didn't say it, I can feel it. May God solve his problem soon.

Soon, they also went to sleep in similar way as Pranbir the difference was that they were clutching each others hand in such a manner like their life depended on it.
