Today is prom night, where high school kids can remember this day. A night of having fun, dress in your expensive dress, guys with their suites, dancing. Like I said a night to remember, not for us. Unless we move away and start high school again.

I was in the living room, when Alice comes up to me. "What is it?" I asked as I focus on my book. But she snatched it away.

"Hey! I was reading that." I shout at her.

"Not anymore sis. Okay, you got everything ready for tonight. Dress, hair, makeup?" She asked me.

I sigh "yes Alice. Everything is ready for tonight. I just need to go hunt later." I said, I reach for my book.

"Okay, don't worry I talk to Chris and he's everything too." She clapped so happy. I chuckle, I went back to my reading, I think I must've over ready when I saw the clock it was almost time to get ready.

"Oh shit!" I quickly sped out the house, I went hunting. I caught a deer, then another deer, I quickly sped back shower, then put in a robe.

I made my hair look wavy, letting down, I did my makeup. Finally put on the damn, and heels then wear my family crest necklace. I looked beautiful, I see Chris in the reflection of my mirror. "You look beautiful, more beautiful than the night sky." He said, wrapping his arms around.

I chuckle "why thank you, you look like a snack." I said to him, we shared a kiss. When we heard Carlisle calling us.

"Yes, Carlisle?" I asked. He stand there with esme by he's side. He has a black box in his hands.

"This came for both of you." He hands us the box, but from the look of it he looked, worried. I can even feel it.

'It's from the volturi.'

"Com'n guys, we don't want to be late." Alice tells us. Edward has left to pick up bella.

"We'll meet you guys there, Carlisle needs us." I said to them. They nodded, we watched them leave. We turn back to Carlisle.

We open the box to see two necklaces, like the ones they have. Chris and I looked confused.

"Why would they send us this?" I asked him.

"He wants you two to join him." Carlisle tells us. We stare at the necklaces, I quickly close the box and handed it back to Carlisle.

"Well, there's no way I'm joining him."

"Same here. I won't leave my family" Chris said. They smiled at us, Esme walked up to give us a hug, "I know you won't. Now go, go have fun you two." She said. We smile, we wave by to them.

As we drove to the prom, I could sense Chris emotions, I sent him a calm emotion. "Thanks babe." He said.

"Sure. I would never leave you. Or them" I said to him. He held my hand "I would never leave you either nor them." He said.

We made it for prom just in time. Chris opens my door. "Hey there's Bella." He waves at her, she waves back. She sitting next to Billy Black's kid. Carlisle told me about the Quileutes tribe.

He just stared at me, so do we. "So that's your half sister?" He says to bella. I hear my vamp hearing.

"Yeah, she doesn't like me too much" she awkwardly tell him. He nods, the stares at me again. 'Leech' he thought, i quietly growl at him. Chris pulls me away.

"Let's Caitlin, Don't want a scene." He grabs my waist. We walk towards the door, we walk inside we see Alice and jasper dancing so is rose and Emmett.
Alice calls us over to dance, it was a fun night. We dance and laughed.
A night to remember.
