Ya

"Where were you?" Bruce cried. I rolled my eyes and sat down on the couch. Listening to their lectures, just because I was like a century younger than them, doesn't mean I have to be bossed around by them.

"Out," I replied simply. Stark stumbled when he walked another glass of whiskey in his hand.

"Tsk tsk," Stark said before flopping onto the couch.

"You can't just go out!" Natasha said, her anger smouldering. "Your under our custody, imprisionment if you wish, you can't just walk out whenever you feel like it. Your an assassin, we can't have you running on the streets,"

A dark chill overcame me, I felt a transformation of Castor, but it was for show, not for harm. My voice spoke in three.

"Interesting words Natalia Romanova, when you have killed many yourself, and under the same title, assassin," I sneered, the words flowing out of my mouth became uncontrollable. The restraining bands on my wrists snapped and spun to the other side of the room. "I'd say the same for you, your ledger is gushing like an uncontrollable river, and you say that it's dangerous to have me out in the streets? Speak for yourself spider. Your no better than yourself,"

Natasha was hurt by the words, and a loss for them. I became myself again and fell to the floor gasping for air.

"I'm sorry," I whispered and ran out of the room.

...

"Hey Moonshine," Tony said as he entered.

"I'm not in the mood Tony," I mumbled. It had been almost an hour since I'd spoken to Natasha, guilt was assaulting me in painful waves with every movement I made. I hadn't meant to let those words slip, but they'd come out as if I wasn't in control.

Maybe it's the first signs of Thanos' control. I thought to myself.

"Here, apparently these are the new and improved power cuffs, everyone thought you should wear them," Tony handed me a silver coloured box. Inside a pair of silver bands were nestled. They were no thicker than an inch and gave off a blurry reflection. "They're fitted with a tracking device, poison injection, explosives, waterproof, almost indestructible, GPS tracking system if you get lost and the best part is that it regenerative metal,"

"Really?"

"Yeah it was a new design that I was improving. Sorry that it had to be pretty stalkerish, but it was either these or a cell,"

"It's ok," I whispered, my voice catching on the okay.

"You should come down to the lab, I know Bruce is dying to ask more questions, particularly your genetics and stuff,"

"I guess I have the time," I gave a faint smile and attached the cuffs to my wrists.

...

The cuffs were stronger and I could already feel the effects. My body filled with fatigue and I stumbled as I walked, nausea overcame me with every step. I was proud with myself for making it to the lab and only collapsing once.

I picked myself up from the wall, waving of Tony's slight concern. A drop of blood appeared upon my wrist and I wiped it off before anyone could notice.

Communication with Castor was limited. It was as if white noise had filled our conversations, so loud, yet one could not hear it. Tony walked to Bruce's section, a completely different part of the lab noticeable by signs and architecture. Whilst Tony's lab was designed in a sleek and stylish mannerism, Bruce's was built for stability; the walls were thick and were reenforced with polished concrete. The lab was completely white except for one wall which was made of glass. The glass looked through to Tony's lab, I let my mind imagine the conversations between the two while they worked.

Bruce had many chemical blood samples lined against one of his walls. They were in different shade of green, blue and red. There were some even spits of yellow and orange. There were many tables for Bruce to work, often filled with apparatus, some still in use. I was used to the chaos, and seeing it brought forth a wave of nostalgia.

Bruce himself was dressed in a loose purple shirt with jeans, a lab coat was unbuttoned and swayed as he rushed from one station to another.

He's looking for a cure, Castor's voice was faded and frail, I had another moment of wondering wether or not it was worth it to risk the electrocution and pull of the cuffs. Within a few minutes Castor was already sounding as if she was fading.

"What changed?" I asked Bruce aloud. Stark left to his own lab, probably working on some new technology, I noted that the plans for a humanoid shape of a robot hovered on Tony's lab glass.

"Huh?" Bruce took a second to look up.

I walked forwards a few steps, the hands that'd been hanging at my sides folded. "What changed? You never wanted to find a cure,"

"A kid," He replied simply and returned to his work.

It was my turn to be confused, "what?"

"I've always wanted a child, even if I've made a somewhat trustworthy relationship with the Hulk, I can't control him that much,"

"I have one, a dark side I mean, she calls herself the Lunar Castor," I mumbled.

"Like I said," Tony's annoying voice came over some sort of speaker and I looked to his lab, "Moonshine,"

"Anyway," I turned back to Bruce, "she's a bit like the Hulk, but her transformation isn't physical, it's telekinetic,"

"Can you give a display?" Bruce asked, sounding excited.

"These bracelets, they kind of cut off my connection with her," I said bitterly, waving them around slightly for him to see.

"Interesting," Bruce said and stepped forwards, "may I?" He gestured to my hands and I held them out for him to study. He looked over them a few times, tapped it once then ran back to his table, scribbling down a few notes.

"You seem excited, care to-"

"Explain why?" He finished. "Tony what are Abby's bracelets made of?"

"Iridium," he called back, "I had to get it out of the portal Selvig made,"

"It wouldn't work," I said to Bruce, when his mouth formed the question to ask why, I explained, "the Hulk is a physical transformation between you and a much stronger creature. Castor is the same, but she's a telekinetic transformation. The Iridium stabilises protons? It also stabilises a Castor's abilities, they're powered by the Tesseract, she has the ability of Materiokinesis, and Ergokinesis by the way, so if Iridium stabilises the Tesseract then I'm guessing that it also stabilises her abilities and therefore weakens them,"

"How did your connection to the Tesseract form?" Bruce asked, I could see him making notes.

"I came across it one day, when I believe SHIELD was trying to obtain it. I touched it and I think my natural powers and my Frost Giant lineage protected me. Instead of having a negative effect on me, it connected, I'm still not entirely sure what happened, but another personality formed inside of me. One bent on control and power,"

"How are you guys now?"

"We've made peace, for someone whose killed thousands of people she can be quite peaceful,"

"Wait your dark sides a genocidalist?" Tony's voice came from his lab and my slowly rising good mood disappeared.

"Thanks Tony for making me feel great," My sarcasm was a dry as a desert.

"Always here for ya,"

"I'm going for a walk," I announced stiffly. Bruce's face fell and he gave me pleading eyes.

"Where are ya going?"

"Somewhere where people won't ask about my past,"

"See ya then Moonshine," Having too much fun with his ya.

"Don't, just don't," My tone was blunt as I stormed into the elevator.
