Later that day me and Brandon went out into the forest to hunt while Loren and Heather went to Heather's garden to get some crops for food.  When I said I was going he didn't want me to go alone. He had said that the monsters of the forest had been wondering around the area this morning.

   "So how have things been?" Brandon asked. "Well its been better then living in a cave. Yea its been great." I answered. 

   "What kind of monsters did you see earlier this morning?" I asked wanting to know what we might be dealing with. "Well I didn't see the monster, but I saw its tracks by the river. It seemed to be some kind of cat. There was also a tooth left behind giving away that it wasn't a normal cat." He said pulling out the tooth to show me.

   The tooth was black with red tips and red stripes coming from the tip.  It was also very sharp. Sharper then any tooth I had seen off of any animal.

   There was a deer in my sights. I grabbed an arrow and lined it up on the bow. I then aimed and the arrow flew threw the air hitting the deer. With a few struggles I managed to kill it off. Then I heard something running across the bushes. It was to fast to be any human or animal I knew of. "Who's there?" I called out. I felt something sharp hit my back. I was then slammed into a tree. I slowly got up to see my challenger. 

   It was a house cat but way bigger. With black and red fur. Its eyes where all red and its  teeth matched the one Brandon had showed me earlier. Before I could call out for Brandon's help the cat struck again. This time it went for my face. I held my bow in front of my face blocking the attack. The cat then pushed down on the bow trying to get close enough to strike. It was stronger then me and I couldn't hold it for much longer. 

   " BRANDON HELP!!!!" I called out 

   "I'M COMING SUMMER!!!" I heard him call back as he ran into the clearing. Then with out a second though he charged into the fight. He slashed the cats back with his sword before it noticed him. It yowled out in pain. I quickly limped to his side. The cat was gone the next time I looked. "You ok?" He asked. " Yea my leg was crushed when the cat slammed me into the tree, but I should be fine in a while." 

   " We should get back so you can rest." Brandon said picking up the deer that I had killed a few minutes before the attack. I nodded agreeing that we should leave.
