Indigo Plateau, Kanto

"Sir, we need to evacuate quickly!"

Lance sighed, "okay, give me a few minutes. I want to take in a last look of this place"

Lance looked out his window and took in the sight. He was in awe, he was gonna miss this place. It would take a while to rebuild it after the whole war is over. He hoped that Ash would awaken soon and stop it before everything gets too out of hand. He continued to think about the scenery until the doors came down

"WHERE IS HE!" a mahogany hair boy yelled as he came barging in the room

Lance turned around and frowned, "Gary Oak, its been a long time"

Gary was furious, he didn't have time for a chit chat. "Lance don't play games with me, quit stalling and tell me where he is! Nobody goes out to train and doesn't come back for 3 years! What did you do with Ash!" the boy asked angrily.

Lance sighed and turned back to the window, "it's beautiful isn't it? All the views of Mt Silver. All so gorgeous, but soon will be destroyed."

Gary got even more ticked, "Lance I told you I don't have time for your bullshit! Cut to the chase and tell me where Ash is!"

Lance struggled to answer, "it won't be no use anyways" he mumbled

Gary got up close to him. He grabbed his shirt and pushed him against a wall, "Lance if you don't tell me where he is in the next 30 seconds, I will kill you"

Lance just stared at the boy, he then finally broke. "YOU DONT THINK I WANT HIM HERE JUST AS MUCH AS YOU GUYS? WHEN I TOOK HIM INTO TRANING HE BECAME LIKE A SON TO ME. HE TRAINED HARDER THAN I EVER DID. HE WAS A ROLE MODEL TO ME WHILE TRAINING HIM. EVEN IF I TELL YOU, YOU CANT GET BACK THERE. ITS CLOSED OFF! ARECUS BLOCKED OFF THAT PART OF THE MOUNTAIN TO HIDE ASH AWAY! NO ONE CAN GET TO IT! IM SORRY! I DID WHAT I HAD TO DO! I THOUGHT ARECUS WOULD LET HIM REAWAKE BY NOW BUT IM WRONG. IM SORRY!" He then started to break down and cry.

His snap left Gary in shock. Gary knew he wasn't lying. He put him down and hugged Lance

"I'm sorry Lance..." Gary managed to say

"No its my fault. I thought I was doing the right thing. I didn't think Arceus would make him be like this for this long. He was like my son"

Gary hugged him again, "so you say I can't get to him even if I tried?"

Lance looked up, "its what Arecus told me. He also told me they would be in a cave that is at the end of another cave. He said it in a riddle type of way. He said, "when one cave ends, another one begins. There you will find the chamber. The chamber of secrets for Ash Ketchum"

Gary looked at him with determined eyes, "I'm going to find him. Lance get out of here while you can. We will make these people pay"

Lance nodded and got his stuff and got out. Him and Gary got outside the league building. Lance was about to leave but turned to Gary, he then had sorrow in his eyes. "If you do find his chamber, make sure you can get out quick. By the time you reach it, the bomb will be close. Arecus will protect Ash. He always had the past 3 years. That's why he's the chosen one" Gary looked back and nodded an agreement. Lance then got on his Dragonite and flee out of the way.

Gary went to the bottom of Mt Silver, he was about to enter until Brock and Clement called him.

"Did you find Lance?" Brock asked

"Yes, he gave me a hint where Ash is. He said where one cave ends, another one begins. That's where you'll find the chamber. Hey Clement, do you know when they will drop the bomb?"

"3 hours" he stated to Gary

"Alright perfect"

"Hey I can managed your location while looking for Ash. Ill help you out when you need an escape plan"

"Alright sounds good" Gary answered

Gary then went inside. He walked around with his Arcanine, who kept a flame going for him. He traveled cave through cave. Nothing led him to where Ash was. About an hour and a half, he somehow managed to get to the top of Mt Silver. Gary was surprised at the view. He walked closer to the edge and gazed upon the scene. Suddenly the ground broke loose and caused him to fall. He screamed but managed to call out Pidgeot to fly him up back to safety. He was relieved.

He continued to walk through the mountain. He ran into some wild Pokemon but easily scared them off. Clement called back in, "Gary you have 2 hours left. I think you should head on out. You hav-" he was cut off by Gary

Gary retorted, "Nonsense! Do you think Ash would've given up? No he wouldn't. I will be okay. See you guys soon"

Gary then had an idea. "Nidoking and Golem come on out! Help me find a cave where another cave starts. That's where we will find Ash"

The 2 Pokemon nodded and ran off. Gary stilled looked around and was near the entrance. He looked around and saw an opening to the lower floors. Suddenly Golem appeared from the ground. Gary wondered where Nidoking was. "Where's Nidoking?" he asked. Golem pointed down signalling that he was in the lower part of the cave. Gary nodded and went through the opening to get to the lower floor of the mountain. He got down and was amazed by the cavern floor. He found Nidoking and Golem. He ran straight over to them. "Did you find the chamber?" he asked. The Pokemon shook their heads. Gary was disappointed. "Well he has to be down here somewhere," he thought. The group continued to walk through the cavern floor until Brock called in, "Hey Gary. Clement wanted me to tell you that you have 30 minutes before it strikes. You need to get out of there quick"

Gary protested, "10 more minutes. I think I'm on the right track"

Brock sighed, "okay 10 minutes and that's it"

Gary then continued to look around. He found nothing. His 10 minutes were up. He was heading back towards the entrance when something suddenly caught his eye. It seemed like the whole room was covered with a blue light. He followed that blue light until he saw something he never seen before. It was a very small entrance. Gary climbed through the little hole and was in a another room. "Where one cave ends, another one begins. This must be it!" he exclaimed. 

Brock called in very worried, "Gary get out of there quick! The bomb will strike in 5 minutes and Clement said that the blast will create a crater 5 miles deep. You're not safe in there!"

Gary started to panick, "B-but I found it! I found the cave! Its the only one left!"

Brock said something that he wish he couldn't say, "Gary leave. For your own safety. Arecus will protect Ash we just have to pray" he then tuned out.

Gary started to tear up, "No no no NO! THIS ISNT FAIR. 3 YEARS AND I FOUND YOUR CAVE ASH WHERE CAN YOU BE?!?"

He continued to cry and started to punch the wall, "Why did you have to leave us Ash? Why?!? I would've helped you. I swear I would. I just want to see you back. With all of us. Us together, fighting these fuckers who's destroying our world! Please Ash! Come back!" he continued to punch the wall until it started to move

"H-huh?" he said while sniffling. Once the wall stopped moving, Gary saw a barrier. He walked closer to it. Once he got close to it and saw what was inside. His heart stopped and his eyes widened. He saw someone he never thought he would see again. It was a certain raven haired boy, sleeping and floating, with Pikachu by his side and his pokeballs underneath him. Gary started to cry tears of joy, "Ash...." he thought.

Brock called in screaming, "GET OUT OF THERE GARY. YOU HAVE A MINUTE. GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE!"

Gary answered quickly, "I found him!" he exclaimed. "I found Ash! He's right here in front of me Brock!"

Brock yelled back, "ARECUS WILL PROTECT HIM. GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE GARY"

Gary stood there and continued to cry, "I can't..." he mumbled. Then suddenly, his Pidgeot and his Alakazam came out of their pokeballs. Pidgeot picked Gary up and Alakazam teleported them out if there. Once the teleportation stopped, Gary was flying back to the Cerulian Cave. He then turned to see a bright light from where Mt Silver was.

"No......." he managed at first, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" He then clinched onto Pidgeot and started to sob. Pidgeot cried too and kept flying.

After the explosion settled, a man in a airplane smirked. "Well it looks like he won't be a bother to us at all. It makes our plan much easier with him destroyed" the man said. He then flew the airplane out of the scene.

Once the dust settled in. All there was, was just a crater filled with rock and pieces from the once the beautiful Mt Silver and the Pokemon league. Suddenly, there was a rumble in the pieces. A bright blue light appeared and pieces went everywhere after the explosion. What stood in the middle of that explosion was a raven haired boy with glowing blue eyes and a smirk on his face; his trusty partner Pikachu on his shoulder. Ready and determined to save the world from evil once again. This time, nothing will stop him.....

Dun dun dun! There's the chapter. I actually gave myself goosebumps when I wrote this. So Ash has finally awaken huh. How will his friends react when they see him once again? We shall find out in the next chapters very soon! Until next time! Peace!
