1k Read Special
I can't even explain how happy I am to have reached 1k views. I don't know if I reached this milestone before or just now, but I've decided to write a little special for the 1k reads. Thank you so much for supporting me and for reading this story. This joy comes from the bottom of my heart—thank you so much.
I've thought for so long—well, a whole few minutes of blankly staring at the screen—about what I could do for this special. To be honest, I still don't know as I'm writing this. I thought about writing an AU or maybe a poem. In the end, I decided on an AU, but how could I write one without spoilers?
Okay, maybe not an AU after all. But I have the perfect idea: an interview with Xue Xinyu! You can imagine Xue Xinyu being kidnapped into a dark room with the writer of his stories asking questions they already know... Well...
"Take the hood off, boys," Shiro says. The gang instantly takes off Xue Xinyu's hood, which was a piece of fabric to stop Xue Xinyu from seeing anything.
"Now, now, let's begin," Shiro says as Xue Xinyu frantically looks around. *Why can't I do anything against these mere chains?!* Xue Xinyu questions himself.
"Don't even try escaping—it's impossible. We'll let you go after the questioning," Shiro says as he takes out the papers.
"Question one: What's your biggest weakness?" Hesitantly, Xue Xinyu begins putting his words together. "Liang Zhiguan," Xue Xinyu says.
"And?" Shiro asks.
"Cooking..."
That is correct! Xue Xinyu is a culinary disaster, just like me! By the way, random story time: today, I blew up my spring rolls (I don't know the direct translation to English).
Okay, actually this is getting boring... God, I don't know what to do for the special.
I have read many "specials" from writers I like, Exequinne for example. She was one of my biggest idols when I began writing, well, one of my biggest idols from Wattpad. To be precise, she was the only writer whose books I ever read (on Wattpad). Other than that, I have also seen my all-time favorite, MXTX, write specials. But those specials were at the end of the book. So, I decided I'd also write a special, though it isn't going well, as you can see. I will make sure to plan an actual special for 10k reads, which is hopefully soon. I have also decided to begin a poetry book, so I hope you look forward to it.
I currently have 40 chapters of this book written, most still unpublished. We are slowly nearing the end of this book. But spoilers!! There will be a second part, that's for sure. Depending on how much I stretch this book out, there might also be a third part. To be honest, the ideas keep piling up, so there might be more than just three parts, but I doubt it. I'm currently in a huge slump of filler scenes, and God, how I wish I could just write 8 years later, happy ending!!, the end. Unfortunately, that's not possible.
At this point, I'm more invested in reading my book than writing it. More spoilers: At the end of this year and the beginning of next, two more books will come out, both unrelated to this series. I'm sure many of you have read transmigration manhwas where the female lead falls in love with the Duke of the North. And you probably have all wondered what that would be like if you transmigrated with your best friend. Well, that is pretty much what the story is about, except that both friends are trying not to get close to the male leads because they want to have a quiet life. Plot twist: it will be everything but quiet.
The other book is the type of book you'd see on TikTok, though probably not many of you are on that side of TikTok. But I keep seeing sad lesbian short stories where one character is conservative or something like that. It has a similar vibe, but I'm still at the beginning, so I can't promise much.
Also, the release dates are not yet decided, so they might come out later than I am saying right now. They're both around 10k words right now, and I'll begin publishing them on Wattpad when they're around 30k.
Like I said, my plans might change, but it's not like there are many people reading this anyway.
Now, to end this, a special thank you to all my friends. I have had so many supportive friends along this journey, especially Niki, my best friend. By the way, the book I'll publish soon is based on us. Anyway, thank you so much for being here for me, Niki. I appreciate your support a lot. Even though you're a dumbass (not that I'm not an idiot), I love you so much. You were the reason I began writing, and you are the reason I'm still writing.
