As morning arrives four cats gather near there dead clanmate, watching as others want to go bury Rainpelt. Oakpaw stare sadly of his mentor dead body being carried out to go burry him, as he watch Duststar jump on the tree trunk and yowl out towards his clan " Rainpelt will be honor but i must have someone to continue Oakpaws train....FoxTail will continues Oakpaw's train i have trust you on your first apprentice and Rainpelt was also your Mentor when you were his apprentice " he meowed out and oakpaw look at his new mentor and touch nose with him in accepting him as his new mentor. He stare blankly as he just accept his new mentor and look back at his friends but mostly Thunderpaw whos looked so guilty and angry of what happened to Rainpelt. Duststar spoke once again " We will have to ask Ice clan to help us protect are borders for both side of our clans we must protect the kits and elders" he said to his clan then stared at RavenFeather "there is other news that that RavenFeather must say" He nods towards RavenFeather as he hop beside Duststar. RavenFeather looked around before he spoke " As of lately there is a kit that helping me and Duststar agrees that i should finally get an apprentice to help" He meows softly and looks back at Duststar. Duststar purred and finally spoke " Moonkit please step forward" he called out for the young kit and a young kit happy walked up to the tree stomp and waited for there leader yo speak again. Duststar stared at the young kit " Moonkit, RavenFeather has been watching you ere since you started following him around the medicine den and learning the herbs" Duststar stated as he watch the excitement in the eyes of the kit as he continues " You must honor the medicine cats code for you to protect and fil your duty as the next medicine cat if something happens to RavenFeather?" he asked Moonkit as Moonkit jumps up shouted "YES!" earning a purr from both Duststar and RavenFeather and earn a nip to the ear from her mother, embarrassed she reply's normally " I mean yes, i do" and watch both Duststar and RavenFeather look at each other before RavenFeather hopped down and leans down to touch his apprentices nose and she happy touch his accepting him as her mentor. Duststar begin to speak again " Then Moonkit for this moment on today you will be know as Moonpaw and you will learn the ways of the medicine cat" He meowed out as the other clanmates started chanting out the new apprentices name. Thunderpaw ran up to the new apprentice in joy "Moonpaw!!! hey!! how do you feel being appointed to apprentice for the medicine cat?" she asked Moonpaw and Moonpaw purred in joy "Its My Dream to be a medicine cat! I'm so excited to start!!" she said as Thunderpaw meowed happily and while they both talked Oakpaw stared at Thunderpaw watching her angry and guilt wash away while talking to the new apprentice. GrayFox gently pushed Oakpaw with his new mentor "Come on Oakpaw, your joining Thunderpaw in her first hurting patrol with me , Foxtail, MoonFeather her apprentice Darkpaw and Snowpelt" He told the apprentice and Thunderpaw ran up to them and only a nod from Oakpaw. The hunting party walked off to hunt with three apprentice walking behind there mentors and warrior talking to each other well more like Thunderpaw talking to Oakpaw and Oakpaw talking to Darkpaw and Thunderpaw and Darkpaw just glares at Thunderpaw. Thunderpaw turned and stared at Darkpaw "what do you want mousebrain?!" she snaps at Darkpaw after saying that a fight broke between them which stop the four senior warriors from there track looked behide them. Oakpaw watches as young apprentices are fighting and watches as GrayFox and MoonFeather try's to stop them. They weren't far from the camp since they just left camp and eyes where set on them by apprentices and warriors passing by for morning patrol and training. GrayFox finally got the hold of his apprentices neck and pulls her away from the mousebrain Darkpaw. Thunderpaw puffed up and hissed at Darkpaw and Darkpaw did the same in anger, MoonFeather swiped at her apprentices head " What were you thinking Darkpaw!?! you can't just start fighting your clanmate!!! and GrayFox controlled your apprentice!" she hissed at GrayFox and he growled "This wouldn't happen if your apprentices stop glaring and trying to attack my apprentice in her sleep!!" he yowls. Foxtail stare at both of them with snowpelt he shook his head and quickly step in between the two senior warriors "MoonFeather , GrayFox please you too are senior warriors and you leaning bad look on our apprentice let's just go hunt" he meows and snowpelt nods in agreement and spoked "Yeah plus me I'm freshly new warrior and its my also my first time on a Hunting patrol as a full  warrior" she said watching the two senior warriors calming down and slowly nodding before they had there apprentice next to them and make them walk with them to the hunting ground and Foxtail purr in delight before following them with his apprentice and snowpelt by his side. Thundepaw silently follows her mentor and smelling the area to find at least pry as they walk farther from the camp but the only secant she can pick up was other clanmates and a few secant of the two-legged and there dogs. Suddenly she stop which cause the whole group to stop as the watch her crouch down and slowly walked up to a bush, GrayFox and everyone watch to see how she would do it since they never really know how she hunt and thought this is maybe her first and before Darkpaw can say anything Thunderpaw pounce into the bushes and yowls where heard which quickly got the group to see what happen only to see the three apprentices of Iceclan in there territory and Thunderpaw pinned down by the older apprentice. Oakpaw hissed out at them "what are YOU doing in our territory!" his claws came out and growls where heard from the group and the three snow clan apprentice freaked out and quickly moved off Thunderpaw and quickly explain "Woah! woah! we are here on behalf of are clan! are mentor BlazeDream the deputy of Snow Clan want to speak with Duststar!!" the older Apprentice yowl in worry since there are more cats around him and his clan mates and looked down at Thunderpaw " sorry about pinn- wait Thunderpaw??" he aske her and she hissed "wha- oh Shanepaw wait you!!! how dare you!! I heard what you said but really need to stop me from my hunt!!! I smelled rabbit this way!" she growled and Shanepaw ears lowers now realizing that she smelled rabbit not him or his clan mates "oops?" he nervously said as he walk backwards to avoid a swipe from the young female apprentice but bump into his mentor "BlazeDream haha! what a surprise!" he said trying to avoid the angry and puffed up young apprentice. MoonFeather purr at the sight before greeting BlazeDream and spoked with the apprentices " Darkpaw, Thunderpaw, Oakpaw why don't you go ahead with the hunting patrol with Foxtail and Snowpelt while me and GrayFox take are guessed to Duststar yeah?" She asked the three apprentice and which they nodded at there deputy and ran off with foxtail and snowpelt following behide to continue the patrol. Thunderpaw looked back only to find the Shanepaw was staring at her and for a moment Thunderpaw felt something she never felt before before continuing what she was doing and walked with oakpaw. Shanepaw stare at her after she looked away, He never thought he be fall for she-cat from a different clan as he keep thinking about his feeling and about her , he felt a nudge and looked beside him to see a she-cat staring at him with a knowing look and she whispers at his "So that she-cat huh?" she purred at her friend which he let a stutter "w-what? no! its not like that! i meet a couple of days ago!" he whispers back angrily yet embarrassed that he was caught stare at suntan with creamy paws and tail she-cat and heard and then felt rough but gently push from a young tom "Shanepaw she's so fluffy! and she's lovely and don't think i didn't noticed you getting every close to her the last night gathering" the tom whispered too his two friends and the she-cat yowls in excitement "What!?!?!" which get an odd looks between the two deputy and the senior warrior. Soon enough the three apprentice and the deputy followed the two Ice clan warriors and as for Shanepaw he looked one final time to where the suntan with creamy paws went before looking back following his mentor.
