Chapter 1

The first time Bakugou laid eyes on the crimson haired teen, he felt different. His stomach flew but sank at the same time. He didn't question it though. As the two grew closer, Bakugou's throat became drier and he acted different around Kirishima, though he shook it off as he shared more in common with the red head. But when the first signs that the way Bakugou was feeling extended beyond friendship, he felt horrible and forced himself to believe it was a one off.

Mina, Kirishima, Sero, Denki and Bakugou were all hanging out with each other during the holidays, though they had to force Bakugou to come along because he was so persistent to not hang out with the others. It was a known fact that Denki and Kirishima had a liking with flirting with each other. Bakugou thought he only hated it because he found flirting disgusting. He realised that his feelings on the matter extended much further than that.

Denki and Kirishima were flirting like usual while Mina and Sero watched on from a distance with possessive look on their faces. Bakugou just wanted to puke. When he felt the already sour aroma surrounding the two possessive teens grow darker, Bakugou looked at the two teens ahead. Denki, as usual, did not understand boundaries and had wrapped his arms around Kirishima's waist, not caring about how uncomfortable Kirishima looked.

Being the hot-headed teen Bakugou had come to be known as, he got angry and forced Denki off of Kirishima. He was burning in flames of hatred for the electric blonde. He pushed the other to the ground forcefully and said through gritted teeth, "keep your filthy hands off Kirishima." A fight broke out after that and the during the whole thing, a tightness tugged at Bakugou's throat, making him want to vomit but when he forgot about the meaning of the fight, the tugging left.

Then it began. The red lily petal fluttered ominously out of his mouth and into the porcelain bowl below, the water rippled by the petals gentle impact. Reality punched Bakugou hard in the face at that moment. He was inevitably going to die or loose all his memories about the one he loved and there was nothing he could do about it. For the first time in years, Bakugou felt hopeless and he didn't like it one bit. He leaned against the wall beside the toilet bowl and stared at the end of his life. . He tried to think about who could have made these feeling surface but he could only think of one person but he refused to accept it.

After a generous amount of time, Bakugou stood up and left the en suite, where he fell asleep on command in his comfy bed.

Bakugou didn't want to wake up. He hated the thought of having to deal with the annoying extras during a time like that, where he was inching closer to his death every second. After snoozing his alarm three times, he forced himself out of bed and into his school uniform.

Bakugou didn't even bother with breakfast. The bare thought of it made him gag. Knowing what was growing in his lungs, the red lily flower, and what he regurgitated the previous night, the idea of eating was too overwhelming. He'd rather run a one hundred mile marathon. He ignored the worried calls of his classmates and the stern orders from Iida, class president of 1.A.

It was calm outside. Too calm. The shafts of healthy green stood, unmoving, as if they were in face with a large predator and fear had taken over them. There was no noise except for the quiet rumble of faraway engines. Bakugou walked into the near empty 3-D 'H' shaped building and up the five flights of stairs to his classroom. He opened the door and plonked himself into his chair.

Bakugou drifted into his thoughts. The thoughts he never once believed he'd have to face. He'd have to let himself fall into harm's cold arms to find the source of the problem. He'd have to spend one on one time with everyone who could be the culprit to find the source. He was pulled out of his thoughts by a familiar French accent.

"Bonjour monsieur!" Aoyama said as he made a dramatic entrance into the classroom.

Bakugou scowled at him. "What do you want?" He sourly asked.

"What do you think of my hairstyle? I changed it slightly. Isn't it fabulous!"

"There's no difference. Go annoy someone else."

"Bakugou! That is no way to treat your classmates," Iida said harshly from the doorway.

"Why should I listen to you?" Bakugou asked cockily.

"I am your class president and have to make sure everyone treats each other with respect."

"You don't care so stop pretending."

"I am not pretending, Bakugou. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect," Iida replied.

"Aah!" Uraraka screamed from the doorway. The class all looked in her direction. "You scared me Aizawa-sensei."

Aizawa stepped out of his yellow sleeping bag and walked to the front of the class, the sleeping bag being dragged behind him. The bags under his black half-lidded eyes were as prominent as ever. "Do whatever you want but don't disturb me."

The class stayed silent for a minute as their homeroom teacher stepped into his sleeping bag again and fell asleep. Then the class erupted into loud chatter with their friends. Kirishima walked up to Bakugou and wrapped his arm around his shoulder.

"Why didn't you eat breakfast, Bakubro?" Kirishima asked.

"Wasn't hungry," Bakugou mumbled.

Kirishima stayed silent for several seconds before saying, "ok!"

Mina walked up to the two of them and stood directly in front of Bakugou. "Who wants to hang out this weekend?"

Bakugou scoffed. "Are you kidding me? We went to the fair yesterday. I don't want to hang out with you losers more than I already have to."

"That's mean," Denki whined as he entered the conversation.

"Can you all just go away. You're annoying me," Bakugou said.

Kirishima slightly shook the blonde. "Don't be like that. You need to be more social."

"I am social," Bakugou said angrily.

"Yeah...but in a more friendly way." Bakugou looked up at Kirishima and only just realized how bright the smile he wore really was. His pointy teeth that resembled the mouth of a shark were pearlescent. He had small dimples. A slight tickle formed in Bakugou's throat but before he could pinpoint who it was for, Mina pushed Kirishima away, making the two teens faces heat up.

"You have to come with us Bakugou. We're doing competitions," Mina said with a smirk.

Bakugou couldn't help but to agree to go with them once Mina said that. Who doesn't want to participate in a competition?

"Yay!" Mina squealed.

Bakugou pushed the group away from him – well, more like forced them away.
