the attraction with their freaking attitude.

"She is such a sassy bitch!" I kept on swearing Mehta. I saw most of the students in the canteen looking at us. I glared at them for averting their eyes at us. And they did so.
"Leave it, Sanskar. She is Swara Mehta. She is like this. Don't act as if you know anything about her." Akash was pissed off.
"Yes, I know her well. Didn't you saw her audacity to yell at her knight? Didn't you??" I was really annoyed at Mehta's behaviour. I'm not complaining about her bitchy behaviour, but of her damn freaking attitude. How dare she even yell at me, that too at my buddy's home? How.dare.she.
"Swara Mehta isn't a girl who bends in her knees for thanking her knight. But a girl, who will go on swearing and hitting everyone who comes in her way. And here, you have saved her from Rahul. But for her, that's not even a favour!" Akash explained. I rolled my eyes.
"Who are you? Her babysitter?" I grinned my teeth.
"Who knows I will become one..." Akash sighed dramatically. What did he even mean? I raised my eyebrow at him.
"Nothing, bro! I'm just afraid of Rahul. I'm sure, Swara won't drop this matter easily." Akash was worried.
"Rahul went to apologise for his mistakes. But Swara pushed him away mocking and swearing." Akash left out.
"Chill...I won't let anything to happen with your brother." I assured.
"Don't. I want him to suffer for his deeds. But his parents are innocent. They aren't aware of his dirty plays and tricks." Akash was angry. I hugged him.
"Hope you won't mind me interpreting you." I heard a very soft female voice. I broke the hug looking at the person. It was Kavita Sethi, the transferred student. She had a lean, thin figure. Her hair was so silky.
"I'm Kavita..." She introduced. I came out of the trance. I saw Rahul rolling his eyes.
"Stay away from us, bitch!" Akash snapped. I saw her almond eyes widening. Her mouth was parted now. But still, I didn't felt like to kiss her. She was beautiful, but not my type.
"Hey mister, mind your language." She was so fierce. And I like to play with fire. What's wrong with you, Sanskar?
"Why so? What do you want? Look, we aren't interested in you. So, please get lost." Akash was so polite. I could see Kavita's cheeks getting heated up because of embarrassment. Soon she walked away from us.
"Really? When did you become a bad boy?" I chuckled. Akash wasn't like this. Don't know what's wrong with him.
"She is giving me bad vibes." Akash stated and I rolled my eyes at him.
"And which girl on Earth isn't giving you any type of bad vibes?" Seriously, this boy was too much. He dont trust the girls who try to get closer to me. According to him, every girl was a threat to me.
"Swara Mehta." His voice was so low, but enough loud to catch my attention. Really? So the Mehta was the only girl in his good list...
"Are you nuts? She is a bitch. She sleeps around..." I got angry.
"And who are you? The Saint?? Or an angel? C'mon, Sanskar...both of you are similar." I looked at him annoyed.
"Urg! I forgot to inform you something, Sanskar." Akash thought for a second and said. I was confused. Now what?
"Actually, we need a girl for promoting our basketball club. You know, this year, they had made a rule that only the popular basketball club can participate. And for us, in participating the campus level competition, we need a girl to promote us." Akash said all of the sudden.
"Why? Our club is so famous. So, why would we even need a promoter? That too a girl?" I reasoned.
"To attracting others along with girls. You know, the campus level competition encourages equality and bla bla..." I was irritated.
"Now, from where the hell, we are gonna get a girl? That too a popular one?" We are screwed up!

"Mom, I will wait for you here." I parked the car near the temple.
Today, Mom had some veneration in the temple. So, as I was in the house, she asked me to accompany her.
"Alright, Sanskar. I will be back soon." I nodded and took the mobile for texting Akash. Actually, Akash isn't home. He had gone with Grandpa for shopping. And yeah, I don't like these pieces of stuff...
I looked outside the window. It was evening and birds were chirping. Suddenly Mehta came into my mind. What must be she planning to do with Rahul? I'm sure, whatever it is, it's going to cost a lot. Even Akash's reputation will be at stake.
I saw Mom coming from the temple. She was looking at the sky as it was so dark and cloudy. She was descending the stairs. Her face was peaceful and pleasant. Suddenly, she lost her grip. Her leg slipped and she was about to fall. I opened the car's door in hurry. But for my astonishment, a girl held her arms pulling her from falling. I ran towards them.
"Mom!" I went and hugged her. I was really shivered. What if something had happened to her? She was my Mom. She was my responsibility.
"It's okay, I'm alright." She whispered into my ears. And that's when it caught my attention. The girl, who saved Mom was Kavita, the transferred student.
"Thanks to her. She held my arms at the right time." Mom smiled at Kavita. I was astonished. I think she didn't know that it was my Mom.
"It's okay, Mrs Vaghela. Anyway, Sanskar Vanghela and I go to the same campus. So it's okay to help you." Kavita smiled genuinely. Really? We go on the same campus. But I and Akash haven't even treated her like a human yesterday.
"Thanks, Kavita." I gazed at her. She blinked her eyes at me. I saw Mom looking at us amused.
"Kavita? Such a nice name. And yeah, you can call me as aunty." I rolled my eyes.
"Bye, Aunty. Actually, I'm getting late. I need to reach the orphanage before 6." Kavita started to go. Orphanage? She is an orphan?
"We can give you a lift, Kavita. You have saved my life." Mom dragged her. Kavita looked at me for the reaction. I shook my head nodding. She smiled at Mom.
"So, Kavita, what's your majors?" We were in the car now. And Mom as Mom was asking her questions. She had always admired girls as she had no daughters. But naah, gold diggers are an exception.
"I'm doing my majors in Foreign Languages along with Accounting." She replied politely. I was amused. Arts with numbers? That was a very weird combination.
"Wow, that's a pretty combo." Mom cheered. Oh yeah, typical Mom. For her, languages were really a craze. Mom knows almost 7 international languages along with Chinese. I sighed.
"Hope you won't mind me asking this question-" What's with Mom today?
"No, aunty. I know, what you are coming to ask. Actually, my parents died when I was small. And after that, I grew up in the orphanage." Kavita explained. Mom looked at her sympathetically.
"I'm sorry..." Mom became emotional.
"Don't, aunty. I don't know what made me spill everything to you. Maybe because you had an oval shaped face of my Mamma." Kavita had tears in her eyes. I became still for a moment. She was a mere stranger to us, apart from the part that she saved my Mom from falling.
"It's okay, Kavita." Mom held her trembling hands. Kavita smiled with tears.
"We have reached." I put a brake on the car. Kavita, after thanking us and hugging Mom, motioned to the orphanage.
"I want you to look at her, Sanskar. She is such a nice girl." Mom said seriously. I nodded my head helplessly. I don't sympathetic anyone.
"I don't want her to get hurt from anyone." Mom was calm, and I know who did she referred to as anyone.
