Barry is in the S.T.A.R labs cortex with the others. He had talked to Dr.Light as the Flash and found out that she was supposed to grab his emblem and throw it through a breach as proof he was dead. So Barry had thought of using it as bait to bring out Zoom and trap him.

“This is the woman who was willing to kill Linda in order to escape Zoom, but now she's willing to help us catch him?” Caitlyn asks.

“She knows it’s the only way.” Barry says.

“Before I left Earth-2, I worked on a serum to dampen Zoom’s speed. All we would need is for Ramon to develop a weapon to deliver it.” Harry says.

“Oh, great, that could be this year’’s cold gun. Maybe another criminal can get it and then we’d have Sergeant Slow.” Caitlyn says sarcastically.

“I would never let that happen. Sergeant Slow is a terrible name.” Cisco says.

“Are we forgetting how much more powerful than Barry, Zoom seems to be?”

“Yeah. If Barry can catch bullets, it would make sense Zoom can catch whatever we shoot at him.” Leah sighs.

“Surprise.” Harry spoke, “The element of surprise. All we would do is rig a projectile to fire as Zoom crosses into the breach. He can’t stop what he can’t see coming.”

“That’s great.”

“Thanks.”

“And what if you're wrong?” Mushroom asked, “What if Zoom knows and he kills my brother? Joe, voice of reason here?”

“We need a plan. That’s as good as any.” Joe stated. “As long as he can deliver.”

“Don’t underestimate me, Detective.” Harry said.

Leah’s phone started ringing.

“Looks like Patty needs us back at the station.” Leah says.

“I’ll meet you two there.” Barry says.

Barry leaves. Joe gestures to the others to come closer so they walk over.

“Are you just forgetting everything Jay told us and supporting Wells now?” Caitlyn asks.

“Oh, no, I don’t trust Wells at all.” Joe answers. “I just want to see what he’s up to. I figure, we give him some rope, he’ll hang himself.”

“Yeah, I’m totally with you. I think he’s hiding something.” Cisco says.

“Look, my hunch after interrogating suspects all these years, something’s not right with this dude.” Joe stated.

“Good thing we have someone that can help.” Mushroom said, eyeing Cisco.

“And I’m not liking where this is going.” Cisco muttered.

“Cisco, can you vibe Wells?” Mushroom asked.

“I can try.” Cisco answered.

With that, Joe leaves them and joins Barry. Cisco, Caitlyn, Leah, and Mushroom looked at Harry who seemed to be a little out of it. Leah secretly used her powers to get inside Harry’s head, she felt his guilt but she couldn’t tell what Harry felt guilty about. She stopped looking into Harry’s head then she left the building to catch up with Barry and Joe.

Central City police station

Patty was talking to Joe about Dr. Light and what powers she might try. Joe told her the case was closed though and refused to tell her why before walking off to do something. Leah walked by smiling and stopping as she saw Patty. They greeted each other, Patty smiling as she saw Leah.

“Are you okay?” Leah askes as she glances at where Joe took off.

“Yeah. I’m fine, Joe just shut me down in a big way.” Patty answers. 

“What do you mean?”

Patty stutters a bit before sighing. “You don’t think it’s because you and I kissed?”

Leah blushed, “No. No. I don’t think he knows. I mean, his last partner almost married his daughter. But if you want I can ask Barry to talk to him, if you want.”

“No, no, no. I’ll talk to him. You know, he’s my partner.”

“And partners should have trust and communication.”

“Yeah. Although the memory of our kiss… it’s a little foggy.”

“Oh, really?” 

“Yeah. I might need, like a reminder soon.” Patty walks away.

Leah smiled and blushed at the same time. Though she didn’t notice Barry standing behind her. Leah got startled, “Yeez. You scared me!” she shouted.

“You and Patty kissed?” Barry asked.

“Well… Ok yes. We kissed before we arrived at CCN last night.” Leah confessed.

Barry chuckled, “First Iris, now you, what is it with the people in my life going after Joe’s partners?”

“Har. Har. You would have done the same thing.”

“Oh now you’ve done it.”

Leah’s eyes widen and she runs off with a giggle as Barry chases after her with a grin on his face.

S.T.A.R Labs cortex

Dr. Light had ended up escaping her cell and got away since she had turned invisible and The Flash arrived a bit too late. So currently Team Flash, Joe and Harry were in the cortex. Apparently Dr. LIght had managed to hack into the lights of her cell and since S.T.A.R labs runs on fiber optics that operate on pulses of light she managed to turn off the power dampeners and used her powers.

“I told you how dangerous she was. You should’ve listened to me and sedated her.” Harry says.

“I thought I had convinced her that helping us was the only way she’d free herself from Zoom.” Barrys says.

“And look where that got us.” Mushroom said, crossing their arms.

“Okay, look, Doctor Light is gone, so instead of assigning blame, let’s try to figure out what we’re gonna do next.” Joe stated.

“Do you think she’s gonna try and take Linda again?” Caitlyn asked.

“I had Iris bring Linda to the house, just in case, to keep an eye on her.” Barry stated, “How are we doing with the speed-dampener?”

“I think we isolated the composite.” Caitlyn stated.

“And we’re modifying the dart The Arrow used to takedown Wells.” Cisco spoke. 

“He’s not Wells. I’m Wells.’ Harry bluntly stated.

“Whatever, Harry.” Cisco sassed.

“Even if we get the speed-dampener built, we don’t even know if it’ll work.” Leah said.

“Until we try it, no. This will be a field test, so can we end this scintillating staff meeting and get back to work?” Harry asked.

“Or how about I say what everybody’s thinking? Maybe it’s a good thing that Doctor Light is gone. Maybe it’s the universe stopping us from doing something really stupid.” Joe stated.

“No.” Barry says sternly. He looks at Leah, CIsco and Caitlin. “No. Keep going. I’m gonna figure out another way to get Zoom.”

Barry walks out of the room. Joe was about to follow but Mushroom stops him.

“I’ll deal with the dumbass.” Mushroom says as they follow after Barry.

Mushroom runs over to Barry in the hallway to catch up with him. He sighs and stops hearing her.

“Mushroom, I know what I am doing.” Barry says.

“And would you like to clue me in on what that is?” Mushroom leans against the wall a bit.

“I’m trying to stop Zoom. I thought you were with me on this.”

“Just keeping my options open.”

“I don’t understand why you seem to think we have a choice. Zoom wants me dead. The meta-humans that he’s sending from Earth Two, they don’t care how many innocent people get in the way. Look at what happened to Iris and Linda’s boss. He was just collateral damage in Zoom’s war. The next time, that could be Joe or Iris. Or even worse, you.”

“And I get that. But I am just thinking that going after him now is premature. I mean. We barely know anything about his abilities. Sure they could be like yours but what if there is more or what if some are different.”

“Wells knows.”

Mushroom looks at him in some disbelief.

“Are you really putting faith in the man wearing our mother’s killer's face?!”

“I am.”

“What about Jay? If we find him, he could help us on this.”

“Yeah, Jay made it pretty clear that he doesn’t want to help get me killed, and we can’t just sit around and wait for Zoom to make his next move anymore.”

“So? We just rush into fighting Zoom without a plan?”

“No. It’s like Joe said, ‘life isn’t about playing defense, sometimes the only way to succeed is by working the offense.’”

Mushroom snickered, “Are you using his advice from when you tryout for football in high school?”

“Hey! We agreed never to bring that up again.”

“You’re a dumbass, you know.” Mushroom says to Barry as he starts walking away.

“Says the one who barely passed school and wanted to cheat off me!” He calls out as he leaves. Mushroom rolls their eyes.

The Wests house

Barry and Mushroom walk into the West's house followed by Leah who they picked up on the way and unfortunately had to listen to the two siblings bicker the whole way. When they walked in there was a lot of food on the dining table where Iris was standing.

“You guys having a dinner party?” Barry asks as he takes his jacket off.

“You would think.” Iris says.

“I know, I know.” Linda says as she walks in with another thing of food that she sets the table. “It’s just, sometimes cooking helps me to relax.”

“Oh.” Barry nods as he leans against the dining room entrance. Mushroom walks over to where the food is.

“Have you heard anything about Dr. Light? Am I still in danger?”

“We’re not really sure.” Leah answers.

“Come on, I’m going crazy here, guys.”

“In more ways than one.” Mushroom muttered.

They heard a timer ding, “That is the cake. Hope you’re hungry.” Linda said then rushed back into the kitchen.

“She’s not kidding. There’s enough food in there to feed an army.” Iris stated. 

“Like a speedster army?” Mushroom joked. 

“Very funny, sis.” Barry said.

“Poor Linda. She’s terrified.” Leah said.

“Uh, more like furious. Larkin died trying to protect her, and it only makes it worse that the person who did it looks just like her.” Iris stated.

Leah suddenly had an idea, “Linda and Light are identical. Enough to fool Zoom.”

“What are you talking about?” Barry asked.

“We still have Light’s suit. If we can get Linda to help us, she could pose as Doctor Light and attack Barry enough to get Zoom to come here.” Leah explained.

“So, we make Zoom think that Linda is Doctor Light and use her to draw him out?” Mushroom asked, “It’s too dangerous.”

“Let Linda decide.” Iris stated, “I mean, she’s desperate to catch the person who’s responsible for Larkin’s death, and she deserves the chance to help us.”

S.T.A.R labs

Iris takes Linda to S.T.A.R labs where she is met with the Flash. He explained that he wanted her helpmand she agreed. They go to the basement where Cisco had set up a sort of training course with cardboards standees of members of team Flash. Linda comes out dressed as Dr. Light minus the helmet. Caitlin gives her gloves that would simulate Dr. Light’s powers.

“Don’t worry, they are totally safe.” Iris says from the small elevated area with a desk and computer.

“Ish.” Harry adds.

“Ish?”

“Oh, come on, it’s gotta be believable, so they really do fire and explode things.” Cisco explains stepping up into the area with the computer. He looks at The Flash. “And you are gonna have to let her hit you with those blasts, once she gets the hang of it.”

“Who exactly came up with this terrible idea?” Joe asks.

“Okay, it’s not a terrible idea. The suit can absorb the blasts.”

“For real or ‘ish’?” Iris asks.

“What does a terrible idea look like to you, Cisco?” Joe asks.

“Okay, you know what? I like to think I can see the bright side of things, okay? Positivity, people.” Cisco says.

“Ehh, if this goes bad I’ll have an afterlife friend.” Ghost stated.

Flash instructed Linda to only hit the standees of him. Linda was confident until she actived the gloves and started spewing light blast out of control. None of the blasts hit any of the Flash standees.

“Uh, you know what, I’m just gonna adjust those a little. Screwdriver.” Cisco says as he holds his hand out. Leah hands him a screwdriver and he runs over to Linda. “Coming! Coming.” He chuckles nervously.

“Okay. So, um, do the opposite of that. And we’ll have it.” The Flash says as a standee falls over.

“This is gonna be chaos.” Leah says to Ghost who nods with a small smile.

Linda resume her training with Barry. She looked around for the right standee to show up. However, when the Flash standee appeared, she tried to use a light blast but the glove glitched out and started smoking. Flash quickly put it out with the fire extinguisher. Leah fixed the glove so Linda could get back to training. She focused hard and soon she was able to blast the right standee. Linda went in to high five the Flash but the gloves activied and accidentally hit the control panel that Cisco was near. He was okay but almost everyone had the same idea. All of them minus Linda regrouped back in the cortex.

“Okay, no offense to Linda, but there is no way she can pull this off.” Caitlyn stated.

“Well, maybe if she didn’t scream every time she fired.” Harry says.

“Yep! Linda had a rocky start, but she can pull this off. I know she can.” Barry says as he puts on his jacket. “All right, did you find someplace near a breach where we don’t have to worry about civilians getting in the way?”

“Yeah, there’s a place by the docks that’s usually deserted at night.” Cisco answers.

“Awesome. How are we doing with the speed dampener?”

“My tests indicate that it should work.” Caitlyn answers.

“It will work. I’ll tune up Ramon’s gloves, makes sure they work better.” Harry stated.

“Okay great.” Barry said then started to walk away.

“Hey, we’re actually gonna go through with this?” Cisco asked.

“Yeah, we’re doing this. I’m gonna have Iris get Linda ready.” Barry said, leaving the lab.

“Joe…”

“I’ll talk to him, Mushroom.” Joe stated, then followed Barry.

Mushroom sighs as they look at the others.

“Are we really going to go through with this?” They asks.

“We are.” Harry answers.

“I mean, what choice do we have? You know more than anyone that if we don’t help him do this. He’s gonna do it on his own.” Caitlyn says.

“And the last time he did something on his own he almost froze himself.” Cisco says.

Mushroom looks away. Leah looks at them and sets her hand on their shoulder. She offers a small smile.

“I know you’re worried about your brother. But we got this. We’re gonna be with him when Zoom comes. He’s not gonna die.” Leah says. Mushroom just smiles weakly.

“I hope you're right.” Mushroom says

The West House

Linda was on her laptop, working when the Flash showed up. “Look I’m sorry I’m a terrible supervillain. I don’t need you to come here and make me feel worse.” Linda stated.

“That’s not why I’m here.” Flash stated.

“Doesn’t matter, I-I can’t do this. I just don’t have it in me.”

“That’s not true. You’re one of the strongest women I’ve ever met. You can do anything.”

“And you know that about me based on what exactly?”

Flash sighed, “Linda, you are trusting me. So I need to trust you fully I know you can do this…” Barry then took off his mask to show Linda his real face. “Because I know you.”

Linda’s eyes widened. “Holy crap.” she breathes out. She pauses as she blinks before saying “I’ve made out with the Flash.”

Tomorrow C.C.C.P

Patty was trying to talk to Joe about the case but he just told her to give him a few days. Which led into a small conversion about Joe not trusting her. Joe soon walks away and Patty walks away. She stops when she sees Leah coming down the stairs coming from Barry’s lab with him following behind. Leah stops when she sees Patty and Barry leaves.

“Hey.” Leah greets.

“Hey. Do you wanna grab maybe dinner tonight? I could use your opinion about something.” Patty says.

“I can’t tonight, sorry.” Leah says.

“Sure.”

“I would. Just Mushroom and Barry…” Leah trails off a bit as her phone buzzes. She grabs it, glancing down at it for a moment. “Mushroom and Barry want me over for this thing tonight.”

“Some other time.”

“Believe me, I would rather be spending the evening with you. If I could cancel these plans, I would. But I’ll make it up to you with dinner tomorrow.”

“Yeah. I would like that.”

“All right, I’ll see you.”

Leah then left after Barry.

The Docks at Night.

Linda was dressed as Dr. Light as she walked around the docks and announced she was here to kill the Flash. Iris, Caitlyn and Cisco had stayed behind as Ghost, Project 32, Harry and Joe were lying in wait. Soon enough the Flash ran over to Linda.

“All right, Doctor Light. Here I am” The Flash says as the two start circling each other.” But we’re gonna skip the part where you say you’re gonna kill me and go right to the part where I don’t let you.”

“I’m here to kill you, Flash.” Linda says.

Ghost silently groans, “Who wrote this stupid script?” they whispered.

“Wait, we’re skipping that?” Linda whispered.

“Yes.” Flash whispered.

“Uh, I am loyal to Zoom, so get ready to fry.” Linda said.

“Seriously? Who wrote this?” Project 32 asked, whispering.

Linda tried to shoot at Flash but missed and hit the boxes behind him. The Flash looked back at them then at Linda in some shock. He fakes a yell and pretends to fall over like he was hit. He groans.

“Gotcha!” Linda says.

“Yeah, you did.” The Flash says faked strain in his voice.

“Real good.” Linda says.

Flash stood up then he and Linda continued to fight. Flash pretend to dodge Linda’s light blasts then he made it so Linda hit him in the back. He pretended to be in pain and then kneeled to the ground before falling into a weird position. He closed his eyes pretending to be dead. “Told you. Zoom always win.” Linda said, hovering over the Flash.

She ripped off the symbol off the Flash’s suit, “Here it is, Zoom, I did what you wanted. Now bring me home.” Linda called out.

Linda then threw the symbol into the riff all while everyone waited for Zoom to show himself. They waited for a while and still not sign of Zoom. Not even after an hour. TheFlash moved his leg which LInda noticed.

“Hey! Stop fidgeting!” Linda whispered shouted.

“I’m sorry. It’s been an hour and I landed in a ridiculous position. My foot fell asleep.” The Flash said.

“He’s probably just waiting to see if you’re really dead. Any minute now, he’s gonna strike.” Cisco says through everyone’s ear pieces.

The Flash soon sighed, shaking his head. He got up making Harry and Joe put their guns away. Ghost turned visible and helped Project 32 up. “Well that was a waste of a stakeout.” Ghost muttered.

Joe, Ghost, and Project 32 came over to Barry while Harry angrily knocked over some paint cans before leaving. “Wells isn’t taking this well.” Project 32 stated, “You?”

“Yeah, it just sucks, you know.” Barry said, “But you were right a little bit Joe, about this not being just about Zoom– about it being about the Reverse Flash.”

“Okay.” Joe says.

“But not for the reason you think. Not because I didn’t beat him. It’s… Wells, he said something to me on that video before he confessed to my mom’s murder. He said that even if he was dead, that he still won because I wasn’t happy. That I’d never really be happy.”

Ghost turns to Mushroom as they walk over. They grab Barry’s hand. He glances at them before looking down.

“How the hell would he know?” Joe asks.

“He knew me. He knows future me.”

“That’s future you. This is the you here and now.”

“I still think that Wells was right. Ever since I went back to that night and I didn’t save her, I didn’t save my mom, I just… There’s just been this void in me. You know, I just feel like that is always gonna be there. For better or for worse. Wells, he knew me.”

“Better then me and Mushroom know you?”

“He may have stalked you for 15 years from a distance, but Joe raised us and I grew up with you.” Mushroom says.

“Look, Wells said what he said to you, to mess with you. To get in your head one last time. If you listen to him, you let him.”

“I know. I don’t want that.” Barry says.

“Then stop thinking that Wells was right.” Mushroom says.

“You’re responsible for your own happiness, Barry. Forget about Wells. Think hard about what makes you happy. Go out and get it. It’s as simple as that.” Joe says. He leaves as Barry nods.

C.C.P.D

Patty was showing some of her co workers a video on her phone while Leah walked over to her. Before Patty could even speak, Leah pulled her in for a romantic kiss. They stopped after a few seconds to catch their breath. “Wow. What did I do to deserve that?” Patty asked.

“Joe said something to Barry that took to heart as well. I’ve just been thinking about what makes me happy and getting to know you makes me happy.” Leah stated.

“We should do more of that then.” Patty said.

They went in for another kiss that turned into a make out session.

S.T.A.R Labs Cortex

Team Flash minus Leah was at the cortex as Linda and Iris were at the CNN building. Cisco replaced the emblem on the suit. Harry was looking through the footage with a disgruntled look. Caitlyn tried to get him to stop since he already looked through it dozens of times by saying the plan had went according to plan.

Maybe Light was wrong. Maybe he can’t see through the breaches.” Barry said.

“Or he gave up. Which I doubt.” Mushroom says.

Barry’s phone suddenly rings. He grabs it and answers it.

“Hey, Iris, slow down, I can’t understand you.” Barry said into the phone.

Harry’s meta-human watch suddenly goes off making everyone look over. Then a small alarm goes off on the computer. Harry gets up as Cisco looks at the computer.

“Zoom has LInda.” Barry says, worried.

“He’s on the roof.” Cisco says.

Before anyone could say anything else Barry quickly puts the Flash suit on and takes off running before anyone could stop him. Mushroom flies after him. The two of them reached the roof to come face to face with Zoom. A man in all black with blue lightening crackling all around him. He held Linda over the edge of the roof as he stared back at them with those pitch black eyes. “You like to fish with bait?” he asked in a hollow raspy voice, “I do too.”

He released Linda from his grasp and she began to fall. Ghost dove after her while Flash ran to the ground at lightning speed. He started to move his arms so fast that they turned into tornados which slowed Linda down enough just for Ghost to catch her. Ghost safely brought Linda to the ground. “You need to get out of here, okay?” Flash stated.

“No, you can’t fight that thing. It’s a monster.” Linda said, her voice full of fear.

“Just go!” Ghost yelled, making Linda run inside.

“You go too.” Flash said.

“Not even a chance.”

The two stood a few distances away from Zoom as he stared them both down. Flash started to run around the S.T.A.R labs building picking up speed. He soon picked up enough speed and threw lightning at Zoom. Flash threw the lightning bolt at Zoom but he caught the lightning with his demonic claws and threw it back at the Flash. Flash was hit with the lightning and ended up hitting the back wall. “Did you guys see that?” Flash asked.

“Zoom throwing your lightning bolt back at you with his claws? Yeah we did.” Ghost said.

“Jay was right. He cannot do this alone.” Caitlyn said in the cortex.

“Barry we need to retreat.” Ghost said.

Flash pulled out the speed-dampening serum from his leg pocket. “No. I’m gonna see if Wells’ serum works.” Flash said with determination.

Ghost turned to look at Zoom, “What do you want with the Flash?”

“Everything.” Zoom answered.

“You want to be me? Is that it? You want to be a hero?” Flash asked.

“Heroes die.”

“Only if you can catch them.”

The Flash took off running up the building with Zoom following. Ghost looked over as Harry came running out with his gun. The Flash ran off one of the taller parts of S.T.A.R labs into the air with Zoom following. The two both threw punches at each other as they fell through the sky. Flash landed on the floor with Zoom on him. Flash punched him off and got up. Only for Zoom to start speed punching him and even break his back making him fall on the ground. Ghost’s eyes widened before she ran over to help but Zoom grabbed her by the neck and threw her a few feet away. Zoom was about to punch Flash again before Harry shot the speed-dampening serum at him. Zoom easily caught it.

“Never forget. I am the fastest man alive.” Zoom said. He stabs Flash with the dart making him groan in pain. He turns to Harry. “You’re next.”

Zoom grabs Barry and runs off. Zoom dragged Bary all the way inside the CCN building. Everyone including Iris were horrified to see what Zoom had done to their protector. One of the staff members pulled out a video camera. Others were snapping pictures while Iris stood there terrified. “Look at your hero.” Zoom said, holding Barry by the neck. “This man is no god. He is nothing!”

Zoom sped out of the building with Barry only to show up at the police department. Everyone including, Leah, Joe, and Patty looked up at Zoom. “The days of The Flash protecting this city are over.” Zoom stated.

Every police member held their guns out and aimed at Zoom. “Put him down.” Leah ordered.

“Now what will you do without your precious hero?” Zoom asked.

Captain Singe ordered everyone to fire their weapons at Zoom. Everyone fired bullets at Zoom but he used his other hand and speed to catch every single bullet like they were flies. He let the bullets fall out of his hands and onto the floor as everyone watched.

“Nice try.” Zoom says before running out of the precinct.

S.T.A.R Labs Cortex

Harry ran into the cortex with Mushroom not too far behind. Caitlyn and CIsco were both trying to find Barry’s location. Mushroom was breathing heavily, obviously panicked and worried.

“Anything?” Harry asks as he looks at the screens.

“No.” Caitlyn answers.

“Do you have him?” Mushroom asks.

“No.” Cisco answers.

Zoom suddenly ran in holding a barely conscious Barry like a rag doll.

“Barry!” Both Caitlyn and Mushroom shout worriedly.

“Harrison Wells. You thought you could defeat me with this?” Zoom asks, taking Barry’s cowl off to reveal the injuries on his face.

Mushroom tries to run to Zoom but both Caitlyn and Cisco grab their arms.

“I made a mistake.” Harry answers.

“Yes, a costly one.”

Zoom lifts up Barry in the air before stabbing his side with one of his claw like fingers.

“No!” Mushroom yells trying to run after Zoom. Caitlyn keeps her hold on him.

“Good-bye, Flash. You too weren’t fast enough.”

Cisco shoots Zoom with a dart making Zoom yell in pain and drop Barry. Zoom drops to the floor for a second after taking the dart out before running away. Mushroom immediately rushes to Barry. Caitlyn close behind who puts her hand on his puncture wound. Cisco soon runs over too

“Stay with me Barry. Please… Stay with me.” Mushroom begs with tears in their eyes.

Medical Area

Caitlyn got Barry patched up and put in a medical bed as well as hooked up to a heart monitor. By the time she was done and Barry was stable Joe and Leah had gotten there. Mushroom was in the room with Caitlyn as Joe was yelling at Harry by the entrance.

“Joe! Barry’s vitals have stabilized. Let’s let him go.” Caitlyn said, trying to get Joe to calm down.

“No, Caitlyn.” Joe said.

“Why? What good does that do for Barry?”

“It’s gonna help me.”

Harry got close to Joe and he pushed him against the entryway pillar harshly. Cisco grabs Joe's arm.

“Joe, stop!” Cisco shouts before letting go. He looks at Harry. “Who’s Jessie?”

“How do…” Harry trails off. He walks over to Cisco and puts his hands on his shoulders. “Jessie’s my daughter and Zoom has her. You’ve… You did vibe me.

“Yes.”

“What did you see?”

“I saw your daughter. She was with Zoom.”

“But she’s alive?”

“Yeah.”

Harry lets go of Cisco. He backs up with a small sigh of relief.

“Zoom sent you here like the others? You kill The Flash and you get your daughter back?” Joe asks harshly. Harry looks at him.

“The only way I get my daughter back is I capture Zoom. Do you understand? You love Barry.” Harry says. He punches his fist against the entryway pillar. “I love my daughter. And none of these children are safe as long as Zoom is here. I tried on my Earth to capture him. I failed. I thought I could bring him down here with Barry’s help.” Harry paused. “I was wrong.”

Harry leaves. Everyone looks at Barry laying in the medical bed worriedly. Mushroom was holding his hand tightly. Leah walked over and rubbed Mushroom’s back as a tear goes their cheek.

About a day goes by with no sign of Barry waking up. Caitlyn, Leah and Cisco were all in the room with Barry and Mushroom. Mushroom stayed in the room all day and night. They didn’t want to leave him. Barry moved a bit which Cisco caught.

“Hey, I think he’s waking up.” He says.

“Barry.” Caitlyn gets up and walks over. “Barry? Can you hear me?”

“Barry please…” Mushroom says, sounding like she barely slept.

Barry’s eyes soon fluttered open as he woke up. He saw the four and smiled weakly.

“Hey” He greets, his voice weak.

“There he is.” Leah smiles.

“You scared the crap out of us. You were gone for a long time.” Cisco says.

“How bad is it?” Barry asks.

“Bad.” Caitlyn answers. “If you didn’t heal so quickly, I’d be very worried.”

“Linda. How is she?”

“She’s fine. She’s staying with some friends in Coast City.” Leah answers.

“Zoom?”

Mushroom squeezes Barry’s hand hearing the name.

“Let’s… Let’s worry about Zoom when you’re up and about.” Cisco says as he puts his hand on Barry’s leg. “Okay?”

Barry sat up a bit and looked like he was panicking a bit. Caitlyn pushes him back down gently thinking he was trying to get up.

“Oh no. You’re staying put.” She said.

“Yeah, seriously. You got your ass kicked.” Cisco agreed.

“Barry?” Leah asks worried.

“No, guys. I can’t feel my legs.” Barry says. The four in the room with his expressions turn into concern. “I can’t feel my legs.”
