Late at Night

Damien was driving up to The Caretaker's place at the Cemetery.

He then put his kickstand down and got off the bike.

He walked over to The Caretaker who said, "Figured you'd be back, bonehead."

Damien asks "Where's the contact? I can't end this without it."

The Caretaker didn't say anything.

Damien says "Guess, I'll just have to dig up this whole damn place myself."

He picked up the shovel, and The Caretaker stopped him and said, "It's not there, kid."

He grabbed the shovel and smacked it against the tree.

He broke the shovel part off and took out the contract.

Damien was shocked.

The Caretaker dropped the shovel and said, "The Contact of San Venganza."

Damien went to grab it but was pulled away from him.

The Caretaker says "Is Hell on Earth."

Damien said, "Now, you're gonna have to trust me."

The Caretaker asked, "And why is that?"

Damien says "He may have my soul... but he doesn't have my spirit."

The Caretaker smiled, shook his head, and said, "Any man, who's got the guts to sell his soul for love... has got the power to change the world. You didn't do it for greed. You did it for the right reason. And that puts God on your side. To him that makes you dangerous. Makes you unpredictable, son. That's the best thing you can be right now. San Venganza is five hundred miles from here."

The Caretaker holds the Contract out for Damien.

He grabs it and The Caretaker says "We better get moving."

Damien put it in his jacket and said, "We?"

The Caretaker walked ahead of Damien and whistled.

Then Damien saw a horse come from the fog.

Then he saw the horse stop near The Caretaker and said "I got one last ride left in me."

He put on his hat that the horse was carrying.

Then he turned into a Ghost Rider.

Damien asked, "Carter Slade? I thought that was just another relative of yours. Put your him."

He nods to his son.

Damien looks at the horse and asks "Can you keep up?"

Then the horse had fire grow on him.

Damien smiles and gets on his bike.

Damien said, "Let's ride.", then he turned on the bike and he turned into the Ghost Rider.

Later

Hours later

They were riding towards San Venganza, as the horse kept up with The Rider's Hellcycle.

The Phantom Rider and The Ghost Rider were just passing through as animals on the side of them were lit on fire.

Then eventually, they got to their destination, and they stopped their horse and bike at the same time.

The Phantom looked at The Rider and said, "Stick to the shadows." he pulled out his shotgun and tossed it to the Rider.

The Rider caught it and set it on the side of his Hellcycle.

The Phantom then turns the horse in the other direction and both of them transform back into their human forms.

Damien turned to Carter, and Carter turned to Damien.

Carter says "This is the end of the trail for me. I've got nothing left. I could only change one more time, and I was saving it for this. God knows I made my share of mistakes. Been trying to make things right ever since. I guess, all I can hope now is that he sees fit to give me a second chance."

Damien said, "I'm sure he will. After all, Mephistopheles is my father."

Carter said, "What?"

Damien nods and says "Yeah. Confirmed by Blackheart."

Carter says "Damn, kid. I want to help, but I can't."

Damien nods and says "I just hope my grandfather lets you have that second chance. 'Cause wasn't the Devil, his son, the fallen angel?"

Carter nods and says "He was, kid. I'm sure your grandfather would be proud of you."

Damien said, "Thank you."

Carter shook his head and said, "No. Thank you, kid. For making my life better." then he rode off on the horse.

Damien then turned on his bike and drove it to the town.
