Barry was laying in the hospital bed

Alex and Aurora were watching over him.

They were holding his hand

Alex was bouncing his leg up and down.

Aurora says "Jake."

He looks at her and she says "I promise. He'll be fine."

Alex says "I don't think so. But if anything... Happens to him... I'll don't know what I'll do. He's our little brother and here we are just... Hoping he wakes up. I can't lose him. And I know you can't either."

Aurora says "I know, Alex."

Alex says "I need him, Aura."

Aurora holds his hand with her other hand.

Then lady walks over and says "How are they today?"

Alex says "Same as the day before."

She says "Look, I know, that you want your brother back. I get it. And I'm doing my best."

Alex says "Really, Dr. Thomas? Doing your best? My brother is in a coma. You call that doing your best?"

Aurora says "Alex."

Dr. Williams says "You two can call me Sam. And it's fine, Aurora. I know it hurts. I have a sister. And if something were to happen to her... I would lose it. I am doing my best."

Then Jamie start to move her arms and she shoots up and yells "Barry!"

Alex was by her side and says "Come down!'

She saw it was Alex and says "Alex? Where am I? Where's Barry?"

He points to the bed next to her and she saw him.

She got up and went to his side after putting in a shirt.

She was holding his hand and asks "What happened?"

Sam says "Well... You two were struck by lightning."

Jamie says "How are we alive?"

Sam says "Well. We ran your guys DNA and turns out your guys cells are in a constant state of cellular regeneration."

Jamie says "We're... Healing by ourselves, somehow?"

Sam nods.

Jamie says "Who are you."

Sam says "I'm Doctor Samantha Thomas. I'm your doctor."

Jamie nods

Sam saw her look and asks "Is he your boyfriend?"

Jamie nods.

Sam says "If you woke up, he'll wake up soon."

Jamie nods

Sam says "Cisco! Where are you?!"

A guy comes in and says "Sorry. What's up?"

Sam says "Jamie is awake."

Cisco says "Hi, I'm Cisco Ramon. That is Samantha... Dr. Thomas."

Jamie says "I know."

Cisco smiles and says "Sorry. What did you need, Sam?"

Sam says "Get Dr. Wells down here."

Cisco walks over to the intercom and says "Dr. Wells, get down to the Cortex, we need you."

Barry groans and holds his hand

Jamie says "Barry? Are you okay?"

Barry says "Ahh, my head hurts."

Cisco comes over and says "Hi, I'm Cisco Ramon. That's Samantha... Dr. Thomas."

Barry asks "What happened?"

Cisco says "Dude, you and her were struck by lightning."

Barry says "What?"

Barry got up and saw he got abs and says "Lightning... Gave me... Abs?"

Jamie looks and bites her lower lip and says "You know, you look good with abs."

Barry smiles and shakes his head

Cisco says "You were in a coma."

Barry says "What? For how long?"

Then a voice says "9 months."

Barry and Jamie turn to see Harrison Wells.

He says "Welcome back, Detective Allen and Detective West. We have much to discuss."

The three of them went on a tour around the facility as they talked

Wells says "STAR Labs has been closed since the explosion, since FEMA categorized as as a class 4 hazardous area. I was... Recovering myself when I heard about you two. The hospital was having a electrical surge ever time you two were going into cardiac arrest. Which is when I go permission from your father and your guardian and siblings and we had you transferred here where we were able to stabilize you two."

They reached the where the accelerator was and Barry says "Oh, God. What happened?"

Wells says "When the accelerator turned on energies formed, that created a..."

Jamie and Barry say in unison "that created a lightning storm that formed a lightning bolt that struck us."

Wells says "Yeah."

Jamie says "How's everyone been since we've been out?"

Wells says "Alex... You could say he felt insane since Barry wasn't there to keep him in check. Iris she didn't know how to continue with you, Jamie."

The couple holds each other's hands and Barry kisses her hand and pulls the hands back down.

They got back to the cortex and Wells says "That's been everything from the past 9 months. Now that you two are up we should run some tests."

Barry says "No, we really should get going."

Jamie says "Thank you for saving our lives. We appreciate it."

And they left

Sam says "Really?"

Barry comes from around the corner sticking to it and says "Can we keep the sweatshirts?"

Wells says "Yeah, keep the sweatshirts."

Jamie pulls Barry as they left to go to Jitters.

At Jitters

Jamie and Barry walk in and see Iris pouring  coffee.

She saw Barry and Jamie walk in and she puts her hand over her mouth and comes running over and hugs them both as she starts to cry in Barry's shoulder.

Barry says "Iris. I'm okay. Jamie's okay. We're both okay. I promise."

Jamie says "We promise."

Iris sniffles and says "It's so good to see you too."

They pull away and Barry wipes her tears and says "Come on, now. There is no need to cry. You should be showing happiness. Not like we're dead."

Iris chuckles and says "But your guys hearts stopped. I was there. So was Alex, Aurora. We all have been so worried."

Barry pulls her hand to his chest and says "What's my heart beat feel like?"

Iris smiles and says "Really fast. I'm just glad you two are okay."

She pulls them in for a hug and they hug her tight, but not to tight. Just to let her know that aren't going anywhere.

Iris says "Come on, Dad is gonna wanna see you two. I'll be back I'm gonna go get my stuff and we'll had to the station."

Then she went to go get her bag and everything slowed down.

Barry and Jamie looked around.

Then everything sped up and a tray came crashing down to the floor and Iris looked and said, "Are you okay, Tracy?"

She says "Yeah. I got it."

Iris had grabbed her bag and says "Can you handle things. I'm taking Barry and my sister to see my dad."

Tracy nods

They all leave for CCPD.

At CCPD

All three entered and saw Aurora, Alex, and Joe working talking with someone.

Joe notices them and walks over and hugs Barry and says "You scared the Hell out of us, Kid."

Barry says "I didn't mean to."

Joe chuckles and says "Are you joking about this situation?"

Barry says "No. Why would I?"

Joe shakes his head and let's go of the hug.

He hugs Jamie.

Joe says "I was worried for you, Honey."

Jamie says "I'm fine, Dad."

Barry smiles.

Then someone walked up to them and says "I was wondering if one of you could help me?"

Barry says "Sure, what's seems to be the problem, Mister..."

He says "Jose. Ramon. Jose Ramon. I'm friends with John Waters."

Everyone looks at him.

Barry says "John? And your what?"

Jose says "I'm looking for John. I haven't seen him since... His mother's funeral. Honestly at this point I'm starting to get worried. He was my best friend and We got in trouble a lot together."

Alex says "And you want us to look for him... Why?"

Jose says "Honestly, I've been looking for him for ages. I can't look by myself. I tried to and I couldn't find him. And it doesn't help that I don't know what he looks like now due to me last seeing him when he was 11."

Aurora smiles and says "He's closer than you think."

Jose says "What does he work here?"

Jamie says "Yeah."

Jose says "So he's been here this entire time, and I didn't know."

Barry says "Yeah, and he's right in front of you."

Jose looks at Barry and says "John?"

Barry says "I prefer Barry. But yes... It's me."

He hugs Barry and says "I missed you, man. I was so worried. I thought you did something stupid. I know how you are. Even when we were kids. Especially with Mason Woodward. Always standing up to him and then getting punches later in the face."

Jamie says "What?"

Barry scratches his head and says "Jam? I... Uh... Can explain."

Jamie folds her arms together and says "Really? You told me that he wasn't bullying you."

Jose says "Oh, he was. You should have seen the fight between him and Mason. I mean they got into a full on fight in the school and Mason got suspended for it. Barry he got lunch detention."

Jamie says "You told me it was cause you blew up the science fair."

Barry says "Thanks a lot, Jose."

Jose says "Oh... You didn't want her to know. My bad."

Barry says "You damn right, it's your bad."

Jose says "I didn't mean to, man."

Barry says "The first thing that happens when I get out of a coma. My girlfriend gets upset about something that happened in the past, cause I told her something differently."

Jamie says "I'm not mad..."

Barry says "Not disappointed."

Jamie says "No, Barr. Uh, ahh. You drive me insane."

Barry says "It's cute when you get anger. If you want I could always make it up to you later."

Jamie says "Just stop." Blushing.

Barry says "Now, your blushing. I say I'm making it toward the right direction."

Everyone laughs and Jamie was embarrassed

Barry says "It's okay, Jam. There's no need to be embarrassed. I mean, I'm sure Alex does the same thing."

Alex says "I do. It drives Iris mad. I love it."

Everyone laughs again.

Jamie hugs Barry and whispers something in his ear.

He pulled away shocked and says "I got to. I'll see you guys next."

He leaves.

Jamie says "You know this is something I always wanted to do, so I'm gonna go to. Bye, guys."

She leaves after Barry

Everyone was wondering what the heck just happened.

Alex says "She had him flustered. She said something dirty."

Iris says "And if it wasn't something dirty?"

Alex says "Please. There is no way my brother would leave that fast. He did what she told him to do. With something dirty. It's what women do to get a man to do whatever they want. Especially when they are talking about something embarrassing."

Iris says "No we don't."

Alex says "You don't. Most women do. Trust me."

Aurora says "If you know everything where'd they go?"

Alex mimics the sound of a bed moving.

Joe says "Ew, gross. I don't want to hear this."

Alex says "Oopsie. I spoiled the surprise."

Jose says "Not really, I know that look on John's face. Pure love. He's loves her more than anything. I can tell."

Everyone smiles.
