Suki's pov

I woke up in my bed with a hangover with enough strength to end to world, but....the pain in my head was nowhere near the pain of losing my beloved Kyojuro. I started crying again, tucking my knees to my chest. A pair of familiar arms encased me, so I ended up opening my eyes. 

"Don't cry Suki. I'm right here."

"Kyo...juro?"

I rubbed my eyes with my arm to better see the fiery head of hair I loved so much. 

"Yup, I'm right here Suki. I'm alive, thanks to you."

"Kyojuro!"

I started crying ten times harder into his shoulder as he rubbed my back lovingly. 

"Caw, caw! Master has requested Suki and Rengoku in the courtyard! Go to the courtyard!"

I quickly started rubbing at my face and shakily stood up. Kyo-kun kissed me before we headed for the door. I sprayed myself with perfume to hide the alcohol smell. We made the short walk to the courtyard, with Kyo-kun leaning heavily on top of me. 

"My children, I'm relieved to see you both healing nicely. Kocho is truly one with medicine."

"Master, good afternoon! Suki and I have arrived!"

"Kyojuro, you have fought bravely to an inch of your life. And dear Suki, you have kept him and all the other humans on the train alive with these brave children."

We both just noticed Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu as they stood next to us. 

"I am very proud of you five. Take this time to heal and relax. You've earned it."

"Thank you Master."

I bowed to him and started walking back to the estate. 

"Suki."

I flinched and slowly turned my head back to the Master.

"Yes Master?"

"You know I do not approve of you using the sixth form of your breathing technique."

"Yes Master, I know but -"

"My son, your heart stopped when Kocho arrived on the scene. You are lucky to have survived. I will not give you a punishment, since it seems you suffered enough. However, that sixth form is prohibited. If I find out you used it again, you might already be dead and not be able to pay restitution. Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes Master."

I left the courtyard in a huff. Kyo-kun let of a sigh before hugging me, sending us both into a heap on the ground.

"The Master is right."

"I know."

"Suki, you died. I want to to head Master's warning. I don't want to lose you."

"Same goes for you. I don't want to lose you either. If a situation like that ever arises again, I want you to retreat or at the very least send for backup. Do I make myself clear?"

Kyo-kun chuckled and kissed my pouty face.

"Crystal clear Suki."
