welcome to this world

this is a medieval world, and a magical world. let me teach you a bit more about it.

to the east is iselourian, a large kingdom of peace and prosperity. its capital is iselon. it is famous for it's artwork , architecture, and especially its great intellects and professors. it is a loveley place to live, although far too much isels for most to live in. the climate of iselourian is quite nice, although as it is near the black mountains, the south part of it can be quite cold. anyways, lets move on. in the north, there is the archapelligus, a big series of islands with traders, merchants, and is famous for its amazing construction of very sturdy, big and beautifull boats. although it is still quite nice, there is still a bit of crime, and also slave traders and pirates. it is very hot and often has heat waves. one of the most famous traders is william vivius. although it has no capital, it has many big and famous cities and one of the most famous is Nawfar which is famous for its culture, its mosaics and it's public baths.

then, in the west there is Audland and Ilmarland. Audland is near the west ocean, and is quite warm although not as warm as the Archipellagus. the capital is Aedlon and it is ruled by king Henry the fourth and it is famous for its' metalworkers and its' huge army. next to it, an more to the south is Ilmarland which is much colder and has many snowstorms. it isn't famous for much, but it has many ruins of other extremely old cities. then, past the black mountains, in the south is the evil kingdom of Abbadon or the "grey lands" as nothing grows there and the capital Abbadus. it has an evil ruler called "the nameless one" and his servants the grey wraiths.

but there is not just urban culture. there is also a lot of nature.near the south ocean there is a place jutting out between the archipellagus and Aedon called mount Drake, or the dragon mountain. with its' giant forests and waterfalls and the lagoon, it is the home of many magical creatures like centaurs, pixes , fairies, elves, frost wolves, nature spirits, and whatnot but its' most famous creature are the dragons who live at the top of the mountain, of many different kinds and colors . humans seldom venture there because the ones that have never come out. there is also the great forest, a forest stretching through the middle of the earth with elves inhabbiting some of it, as well as a volcano in the north of Aedon

after that, besides a few islands there is an unknown land no one has ever explored. it's too far away. one of the only islands within reachable distance has a vortex/portal  that can bring you to another vortex/portal that brings you to the five magic schools in an area of the mainland that is nor reachable by land or by sea because of the force field and the mountain range (the magic mountains) surrounding it so that soldiers from the grey lands don't get in

and it is also the only hope for young sorcerers to survive
