A/N: Just wanted to give a formal shoutout to MangaStoryFan for the awesome new cover, a great change of pace from the old one! Sure fits King's more intimidating nature as of the recent chapters.

Also- I'll formally celebrate this later today when I wake up but, wanted to say congratulations to MangaStoryFan for "The Banished"'s one year anniversary! If you're a fan of crazy fights and worldbuilding I'd definitely recommend the series.

Now to the chapter!

Last chapter, only two hours remained until the Red Fist's planned revolution. Meanwhile- Restroid went off with two Red Fist soldiers, and proceeded to shoot them while purposely leaving vital information about the group alongside the bodies.

As planned- the army quickly came to investigate the gunshots and read through the folder Restroid left with the deceased men. The information found prompted Commander Ontarus to infiltrate the newly found base in a disguise- in which the first thing he did was kill the base's "gatekeeper", Hice.

Commander Ontarus' P.O.V.

With that scum's blood cleaned off of my Bahari, I wrap it back around my waist and under my red shirt. Then I check myself out in a big mirror that's next to the door and to the right of me- no blood on my face, sweet, would probably be hard to see with my darker skin anyways. Looking handsome as always too, not exactly six feet tall but hey 5'10 good enough.

"Now to kill that Laya girl... or does it matter at this point if reinforcements are gonna be swarming in here in a minute, with the entrance open now and all? ...Either way, can't stay in this broke ass house- have to make sure they don't go through those teleporters early." I think to myself as I fix up the black haired messy wig I'm wearing, and head out the creaky door-

"Boo!" I almost shit myself as I step back and grip my blade under my shirt- but calm my tits the second I look down, to see two little brats staring up at me.

"...Oh- sorry, we were trying to scare Hice. He really let you inside? Normally he's always so cranky- that's why we prank him all the time!" I chuckle at that, as I glance around- only a few people are walking by on the street outside this house, a bit more than when I came in here but it's fine.

"Agreed, and nice. Don't think now's the time to be pulling pranks though, show's going down in less than 10 minutes. Go home, and see ya." I say to the two which make them groan and roll their eyes. Meanwhile I start speed walking away from the house past them, and onto the jagged green floored street next to us- damn, just realized- it must be made of Hesalo too. The amount of people and robots walking across the streets is pretty damn impressive too for hobos like these.

"They really must've worked on this base for years... if we're lucky maybe we can confiscate everything here instead of destroying it all." I think to myself as I casually glance around the area I'm in where a bunch of metal buildings are surrounding me. They've even got artificial blue skies down here... damn. Not enough to distract me from the fact that kids are living here though.

"...I mean... if it'll take out the bloodlines of these monsters, maybe taking them out could -or would be for the better... we'll see." I think to myself as someone bumps into me as they're running by, gross- but whatever these aren't my good clothes anyways, even if I do look decent in them.

A few more minutes pass by, still no sign of any reinforcements coming- and I still haven't found that Laya chick. The hell is Prósopsi waiting for? I mean I was hoping to take these guys out alone but, not when the situation is this dangerous and they've got something that can supposedly take down the leader of the whole damn army.

On the plus side I did find the tele-tri's that the folder we found was talking about- well three of them at least. There's apparently 20 different teleporters set around the base at different locations for their shitloads of soldiers. Makes me kinda worried that they were expecting an ambush now that I think about it- seems like it'd be a lot easier to just have everyone teleport near each other... or maybe I'm just being a pussy again.

No point in getting scared now though, just have to keep cool. I can defend myself if it comes down to it and something really is wrong here. These guys are a bunch of clowns anyways- even if they SOMEHOW took us out, they would've led this continent right to the grave. From what I read about the group they wanted to make everyone literally equal- yeah so a doctor's gonna get the same pay as a cashier huh, that'll sure motivate people to work- not.

And we don't got nearly enough robots to take over all the important jobs in this place. Thinking that the government has access to enough resources to feed and house EVERYONE here regardless of their status is damn ridiculous. That's why we keep criminals, like the people in this group, on the streets- plus constantly monitor and manipulate each person we're giving free places to.

Even with the amount of registered citizens we're housing and feeding for free right now, the continent is still struggling- so yeah no shit we've gotta weed the undesirables out.

And oh it gets even better, the Red Fists apparently wanted to make a program to make all the fatass registered citizens be able to walk again. Almost laughing as I'm walking thinking about it. And then what, you'd let them roam the streets? Then have fun in overcrowded cities, dumbasses.

And did they really think everyone would side with them after they killed off the previous government, even the rich and smart people who are meant to do well, and that the government helps out? Hell even the registered citizens would probably be pissed if the government got taken out- no clue if that would be their choice or not though...

Anyways, I'm feeling better now after realizing these guys are just a bunch of idiots like all the other criminals here- but damn, STILL no reinforcements though it looks like.

"Are those Officers THAT stupid that they don't even know how to call Prósopsi? Or wait... fuck- what if where we found that info was a trap after all, and they all got taken out? Shit. Shit, shit, shit- I'm gonna have to call him." I think to myself as I glance around for a place that I can hide in, hard to see though with all these people walking around- a little less than a few minutes ago but still.

As I'm doing that, through my shade covered eyes I catch a red-headed girl- who's staring at me and looks hella spooked. She tries to look away and act normal, as she's sitting at a table outside of a food stand with a couple of guys and gals.

"She knows- have to keep her quiet, maybe this is that Laya girl." I think to myself as I speedwalk towards the group.

"Yo- do you all mind if I take a seat? Ha, everyone's so busy I can barely find anyone to talk to." I ask with a smile and in a fake voice, but it's more like a demand as I pull one of the rusty seats back from the metal table and plop myself down at it. All the while I keep eye contact with the girl, making sure she knows to keep her damn mouth shut.

"Yeah sure- assuming you're not part of the action then? We're just trying to stay cool here. Also you seem kinda familiar... have I seen you around here before?" One of the girls- no brown haired women at the table ask me, nice smile- too bad she's with these scumbags. Speaking of, that potential snitch still looks kinda spooked... her hands are under the table though. Wait-

"Yep, and hah maybe then. And hey, sorry I don't have your name red haired girl but- I saw a ring on one of your hand's before, it looked cool- can I see it?" I ask- but before she can respond, alarms start blaring across the entire base as the girl jumps up from her seat-

"OVER HERE!" She calls out, motherfucker must've been using her phone under the table- how the hell didn't I notice?! No point in wondering, I kick my seat back and get up to run, only to find myself getting swarmed by a bunch of guys and gals with guns pointed at me.

"Pretend I'm a citizen who accidentally came in- dead otherwise." I think to myself as I start to shake which I'm obviously faking, and raise my hands up.

"Alright- alright let me explain, please don't shoot me! I was breaking our lockdown to get some ceraclin, w-when I stumbled into a group of your people outside. I thought they were all just some gang members, you know who could hit me up so I walked up to them- but suddenly all of us got teleported into this base- hideout, whatever you call it. Looks nice by the way, but anyways- I was scared shitless, so I ran away. The red headed girl was looking at me funny, so I was sitting with her to try to keep her quiet, since I was pretty sure she knew I wasn't one of you guys." I lie.

I'm also keeping an eye on everyone's trigger fingers, to make sure that if anyone does try to shoot me here- I can at least have a chance at dodging the bullets.

"OK. Bad fucking timing though pal. We're gonna have to detain you for the time being, then we'll sort this out. Xian, Kant, go." A tall brute with a gun and in some pretty heavy looking red uniform commands as a guy and gal walk up to me, one of them holding handcuffs while the other keeps their gun pointed at me. I put my hands behind my back, but make sure to try and hit Bahari's handle with the back of my hand while I'm doing that, which is hidden under my long-ass shirt.

"C'mon, just need to hit the switch... there, oh thank God. Now to stall." I think to myself as I get my hands cuffed. BUT at the same time I manage to flip Bahari's "on" switch with the back of my hand, that's on the bottom of the sword's handle. Right as I do that, since I'm the owner of this awesome blade, I can feel every pipe on the continent holding my sea water burst.

'Course that means that the hundreds of tons of water that're in the pipes start rushing towards me from both a few- and hundreds of miles away. I can feel it all moving hella fast through the air, so it should be here any second now- shouldn't effect many innocent civilians either due to the lockdown that's on now.

"Can you please put the guns down now- you're, you're really scaring me..." I ask timidly with a small laugh as I start to be led away by the two soldiers who cuffed me. The way's cleared in front of us now from soldiers, that could be useful...

"Keep your mouth shut. Please. And wait. You two forgot about the patdown." The tall brute commands the two who're pushing me along and they stop, as the chick of the two cringes. I'd cringe too if it wouldn't make me suspicious...

"Must be new, or maybe the training here is just shittier than our army. C'mon Bahari, really need you right now..." I think to myself as they go right for my waist first- and of course that causes them to raise my shirt up, which makes my heart jump out of my chest. Probably felt my sword and not the darker one.

Before they find my famous weapon, I headbutt the guy on my left's head which makes him back off for a sec, due to the cybernetics in me that harden my skull a tad. Then I kick the chick on my right's shin hella hard before she can taze me, which makes her lose her balance.

Then I bolt straight ahead, and take a left past the foodstand I was just sitting at. Keeping low, after that I take a right past another building as I can hear footsteps following behind me- I'm a bit faster than them though. I can probably tank a few shots as well, but not that many, kinda hoping they won't just murder a running suspect but I wouldn't put it past em'.

"Better keep near the people in the streets here to use as cover, but still- surprised no one else with a gun is helping out the people chasing me." I think to myself, but I realize the answer as I can see every citizen, armed and unarmed around me staring in fear at the entrance of the base that should be behind me now.

I can feel what they're looking at too, as a fuckton of water rushes through the base's massive entrance and starts flooding towards me. Bahari's saving my ass after all.

"Ontarus is the one in cuffs- anyone, kill the fucker NOW or we're dead!" The brute shouts loud as hell from behind me which seems to snap everyone out of their dazes, and at the same time an alarm that's even louder than the one from before starts to blare out.

I take a right into an alleyway, only to bump into a guy who's even bigger than that military brute, who's having a smoke against one of the metal walls. I try to turn around and run but before I can he grabs my neck, and slams my ass down into the rough ground of the alleyway.

"OVER HERE! There's kids here, for the love of God turn off your damn power!" The man shouts as he slams his fist into my face over and over again as I grit the teeth I've got left. I scream though as he throws a fucking killer punch down at my nose, which causes a jagged piece of the ground beneath me to jam itself into my "reinforced" skull.

Through the god-awful pain, out of spite I smile at the bastard above me. The reason being, I can hear all of the water I summoned into the base screech for me- which should be loud enough to kill everyone in this base's ears. Bahari's pissed, which is probably why no reinforcements have come to help this guy yet.

Bahari sure doesn't get mad often considering I'm normally NEVER this close to dyin'. But just in case, because I'm kinda smart, after seeing both Jaxonite and Erucid get fucked by these guys, I got some fancy cyber-stuff put into my ears, which protects me from high pitched sounds. And to think my bro calls me careless...

Either way the dead-man above me cries as he swings his fist down at my face, for one last chance to kill me I guess. Ballsy- but stupid, because his body gets cut to pieces by hundreds of thin blades of flowing water before he can even touch me. Well his chopped off hand just fell onto my face though I'll give the guy that.

"Good thing I'm wearin' red... hey Bahari- mm!" I try to shout out but get interrupted as I roughly get sucked into a big blob of water into the air, spun around in it's current- then spit back out onto the floor face first. Ow, there goes my wig. Luckily though right after that, I can feel a torrenting... yeah a "torrenting" blade of water slice my handcuffs in two.

"Free at last. Now to call Prósopsi... oh wait, gotta calm my baby first." I think to myself as I stand up pretty easily considering I just got my ass beat, on that note I am hurtin'. Only a little though... that scumbag wasn't even close to killing me, yeah.

Shame aside I look out of both sides of the alleyway in front of and behind me, to see that Bahari conveniently made two giant water walls on both ends of it. And on the ground, looks like Bahari's left me a bit of extra liquid to use which is nice. More importantly though I lift up my shirt, and unwrap the savior sword itself from my waist as the thing extends back out to it's full mast.

"Shh shh, chill out, I'm alright." I say as I rub the small angry lookin', and brightly glowin', red face that's engraved into the brown handle of Bahari with my thumb. After all these years I've still got no clue if it can understand what I say, but it can feel me I'm almost sure of that.

And just like that, the face that annoying people have called an "emoji" before, starts changing color to a non-glowing gray- and it just looks OK I guess. As I rub it a little more with my thumb it starts to glow green and smile. With that the water around me stops it's screeching, and the crazy currents of the water-walls around me calms down a tad. Still too intense for anyone to walk through though.

"Least Bahari won't accidentally kill me now, kinda sucks having less auto-pilot when it's happy though. Anyways- Prósopsi." I think to myself as I tap my right ear three times to turn on the walkie-talkie type thing I got planted in there. No clue how it works, Prósopsi promised me some time off if I got it implanted though so I did. If anyone listens in on the stuff I do behind the scenes I could care less- the army can't afford to get rid of me, not like I'm that bad regardless.

More importantly though...

...

"This thing broken? Or are the army's lines are down? The fuck? Phone." I think to myself as I dig my hand into my soakin' wet pocket and yank out my phone that I obviously made sure is waterproof.

But I shove it back down into my pants and grit my teeth as I can see some grenades get launched over my water walls. I swing my blade to the right, making a water-tentacle thing stretch out from the water-wall that slices the bombs to smithereens. But still, I may be safe now- but the idea that these losers have tech that may be able to infiltrate my little fortress here isn't encouraging.

*BOOM!*

A big chunk of the red metal wall to my right gets blown off and launches right at me, which knocks me off of my damn feet. I quickly flick Bahari backwards though midflight which forms a small water-wall behind me, that both me and the hunk of metal sink into- instead of slamming full-force into the building behind me.

"Shit- can't see who made that hole with this metal in front of me. Up." I think to myself as I float underwater, and swing my sword up with one hand. 'Course doing that causes the current of the blob of water I'm in to start dragging me up past these buildings- until I finally get launched out of the water and into the air.

"Fire!" I hear before I can even take a damn breath as I land on a flat-roofed building to my left. Looking down I can see the armed gunners standing in the flooded streets with bloody water being up to their knees. And just as I hear the shots ring out, I swing Bahari along in front of me super quick, causing a big torrent of water to catch or destroy most of the bullets in front of me- one hits my shoulder though.

"Fuck." I curse under my breath as I cough, guess Bahari can never 100% know what I want it to do when I slash but still- today is the day I need it to be nearly perfect.

"Where the hell is Kodan?!" One of the soldiers yell as they keep firing at my water- pointless, their words have a point though.

"Did he leave to do the mission with all of his people in danger? Shit- maybe, would probably suit him. I need to hurry up and warn Prósopsi." I think to myself as I turn around and run towards the other end of the building, to see a bunch of dead- or dying bodies lying or floating in the flooded streets below me.

I smirk as I can see that red headed Laya girl over lying against a blue metal building's wall. Looks like she lost a leg... next'll be her life, least the bitch can pay me for fucking me over here.

I get interrupted though as I can hear a loud clang to my right, and looking over there- my eyes open wide as I can see that damn green armored man running, no- flying straight for me across the rooftop- shit!

A/N: Commander Ontarus wrecks havoc with the true power of his sword, however it seems like Kodan has finally come to his followers rescue!
