Raphael grabbed her arm, "You can't fight her again, Nessie."

She reached up and placed her hand over his giving him a smile before moving his hand. She leaned down and pressed her lips against his. The Elixir was thick in her mouth but it surprisingly had no taste. She expected it to have some taste to it but it was very bland. She lifted herself up and looked at Hasina waving for her to come over.

Vanessa pulled her into out of the water into the air space and placed her hand into Raphael, "Take him back. Please."

Hasina nodded her head and pulled Raphael up from the ground. Raphael turned back towards Vanessa but Hasina quickly pulled him away before he could speak. Vanessa released the shield she was holding up and she swam back up further towards Queen Severina who looked annoyed.

Queen Severina was the one to attack her fruit. She quickly grabbed Vanessa and they twirled around in the water as they both threw their first at each other. Vanessa grabbed her long dark hair, pulling and tugging at it. Queen Severina cried out in pain before growling and held her palm out but Vanessa grabbed it. She brought her arm out towards Queen Severina making get pushed backwards.

"You're lighten tricks are cute." she said amused. "But they won't always work."

Vanessa face scrunched up with determination as she held her arm out, stiffening her fingers slightly and she heard the hard thunder from above the water. Queen Severina grinned her famous well used water snake companion appear circling around her.

Queen Severina jerked her chin and the snake quickly came towards her and Vanessa threw her arm out, making a lightening hit the snake and the water snake disappeared. Vanessa felt so relieved it worked because-

The snake came back and Vanessa didn't know how to get rid of this thing. It came after her and Vanessa dodged it quickly. She threw her arm out, pushing the snake away. She straighten her hand out and threw her arm out, slicing around the snake face. It just came back together.

The snake slithered over towards her and Vanessa face harden, making the snake freeze a few inches away from her. Her nose scrunched up and her hands balled up into a fist. The snake jerked and she focused hard on the snake, trying to gain control of it. It was hard to stop it come wanting to sink it's fang into her. She imagined the snake being torn apart and dying.

The snake threw it's tail around and Vanessa grinned before it disappeared. She waited a moment, expecting the snake to come back but it never did. Vanessa turned around to face Queen Severina but something pushed her back making her twirling into the air. She could sense Queen Severina anger in the magic and tried to get a grip on herself.

When Queen Severina finally stopped, Vanessa felt dizzy and she brought her hand up to her hand. As she tried to focus, she watched Queen Severina hold her arm out, "No more playing games." she said and Vanessa saw something coming towards her very quickly.

It was a net.

Vanessa pushed herself back but she couldn't get her tail to work since she still felt dizzy. The open net wrapped its self around her and she panicked as the weight of it pushed her down to the ground. She couldn't even move her head, she was force to look up above her as the net held her down onto the ground. The net was holding her arms down, she had no control at all.

James swam above her and he quickly swam down towards her. He grabbed onto the net, pulling at all trying to move it. Vanessa had a sense of déjà vu right now and she realized this is what their visions they be having together was. At this moment. She understood now why she kissed him, because the Elixir in her mouth.

James pulled the net and it ripped. Her eyes widen as they opened for her and he pulled her out by wrapping his arms around her waist. When she was pulled out, she put some space between them. She panicked as she watched him scrunched his face in pain and he moaned painfully as his brought his hands up to his chest.

Vanessa eyes widen and she began to panic watching him. She knew she had no other choice so she reached her hand out behind James neck and pulled him towards her. She pressed her lips against her roughly. James was at first stiffen but he quickly loosen up as he brought his hand up behind her back. Parting her lips a little and with her tongue she pushed some of the Elixir into his mouth hoping he would know what to do and nothing think it was as disgusting as it seems. It is what's gonna save him.

Suddenly Vanessa was pulled away from James and thrown back into the ground roughly. She swallowed the remaining Elixir in her mouth and watched Queen Severina appear above her a couple yards away with a cold hard look and a crystal blade appear in her hand.

Ninda came up behind Queen Severina and grabbed her, punching and hitting at her confusing Vanessa. "Give her all you have! Before it's to late!" Vanessa knew what she referring to but she didn't wanna do it with Ninda in the way. The scales on Vanessa arm suddenly to peel off her arm and she gasped. "Vanessa!"

Vanessa raised her hand up to the air and stiffen her fingers. She felt the lightening in the sky build up in strength and she looked right at Queen Severina and Ninda fighting. With her eyes stinging up, she threw her arm out towards Queen Severina. She watched as the lighten come into the water and directly hit Queen Severina-and Ninda.

Her tail split apart and her legs came back. Suddenly breathing under water didn't come to so easy and she quickly held her breath. Kyoko rushed down beside her and grabbed her, quickly pulling her up to the surface. When she reached the top, she gasped for sweet beautiful air.

"Vanessa!" she heard James voice and she turned her head to see him a dozen feet away.

She kicked her legs in the water to keep herself up.

Vanessa saw Raphael on land pacing back and forth when she got back to Coasta Sirenas. She pushed herself out of the water, "Raphael!" she yelled. He turned around and when he saw her, his eyes widen. She pushed tired body over towards him and threw her body against his, holding him close towards her as tears rushed down her face. "Ninda. . .Ninda sacrificed herself just so I could finish Queen Severina off. Raphael, I had to-had to-had to-"

"Shhh." he said, bring his lips down against her head. "You're human again?" She couldn't speak as tears rushed down her face. "So if Queen Severina dead-what about the other girls?"

She stopped crying when she wondered that aswell. Adalyn came over with a towel in her head and Vanessa blushed heavily. She took the towel, wrapping herself up. Adalyn hugged her tightly, "I can't believe you did it, Vanessa."

"Adalyn," she said, pulling herself away. "What's gonna happen now? I mean, the other Mermaids. What's gonna happen to them? Queen Severina dead so. . ."

Adalyn stared at her for a moment before she shrugged and sighed heavily, "I don't know, I honestly don't know."

Vanessa, Raphael, Adalyn, and James stared out into the ocean. All of them were human again, knowing this because when she put her feet into the water no tail came back. She didn't know how to react to it since it was what she wanted but she was so use to it. She knew she'll miss her tail at least but not the responsibilities that come with it.

Vanessa sighed heavily as she turned towards Raphael and wrapped her arms around him, "You right, it does feel weird to be human again." That alive feeling was gone and she even though she felt the same she knew there was something different about herself. She just didn't feel like a Mermaid anymore.

His arm came around her, "The other Mermaids must not be coming for revenge for Queen Severina."

"What happened to Hasina and Kyoko?" Adalyn questioned.

Vanessa closed her eyes and shook her head, "I don't know. One minutes she was bring me back and the next she was gone. What if they kill them both?"

They were all quiet and Vanessa felt nothing but guilt since there was so many consequences about being human again. Yes, she knew the girls said they lay down their lives for her but she never wanted that. She told them that and she felt exactly how she knew she would feel.

"Vanessa." she heard James said.

She brought her hand up to her cheek as a tear slipped out, "Not now, James."

"No." he said. He grabbed her arm and pulled her away. She started to push herself away but he pointed his arm out towards the sea, "Look."

Confused, she looked out towards the water. A mile out she saw Ninda out in the water. Vanessa eyes widen as she looked at Ninda who smiled at her and waved.

"Ni-Ninda!" she screamed, pulling herself away as she ran into the water. Ninda went over and soon appeared in front of Vanessa. So much emotions-and terrible confusion-rushed through Vanessa as Ninda stood up from the water. Vanessa smiled widely as she pulled Ninda into a hug, "Wha-I don't know-oh, my God Ninda you're alive! How is that-I mean, you were holding onto Severina when I-"

Ninda chuckled as she hugged her back, "I don't know either. I blacked out and I swore I died. But I woke up with all the girls around me. Somehow the energy from Queen Severina was transferred to me when the lightning struck her."

They both pulled away from the hug and Vanessa looked at Ninda fully. She appeared to be the same Ninda but suddenly a swirl of water came out of the ocean and went passed Ninda height. Vanessa eyes widen when she looked at Ninda with eyes widen, "You're. . .oh, my God."

Ninda smiled widely, "I know, it's insane. They crowned me queen and I can now understand why you didn't like it. It seems so. . .bizarre."

Vanessa didn't understand how it could be possible but right now she didn't care. Ninda was alive and that's all it matter. Vanessa knew she was never up to 'Queen Material' but Ninda was. She was smart and creative. Being around Queen Severina taught her how to be a queen and take care of the coven.

"And also," she said, turning around and Vanessa followed. Tavia and Alia appeared out of the water and waved to her. "They were just being held. Queen Severina was gonna hold them if she ever needed them." Hasina and Kyoko appeared next to them, making Vanessa feel so relieved about all of them.

Vanessa looked back at Ninda, "I can't believe it. This is so wonderful. You deserve this."

She smiled and wrapped her arm around her as they turn going back towards Adalyn and the boys, "I know, it's crazy. But by seeing you take the Elixir, I'm guessing you don't wish to turn back to a Mermaid am I right?"

Vanessa lowered her head, "Ninda. . .being a mermaid was wonderful. It was such an adventure. But my life is here, my family. I couldn't live life without them."

"I understand." she said. "Severina told you though ever full moon though, you will transform back." She looked at Raphael and James before turning back to Vanessa, "And you all always welcome back when it happens."

Vanessa smiled, "So our tails aren't gone forever?"

Ninda grinned, "The Elixir is a powerful thing. You are family to us, human or mermaid."

Vanessa hugged her tightly, "Please say we can all swim together again at least."

"I wouldn't want anything else." she said as they pulled apart. She walked over to Adalyn, "Today is your lucky day, Adalyn. Would you like to come back to the sea to live?"

Adalyn eyes widen, "Can I really?"

Ninda nodded, "That is after all where you truly belong. Severina took it away from you, I want to give it back."

Adalyn brought her hands up to her face as she cried out in excitement. Vanessa tried to keep smiling but it kind of sadden her because that meant Adalyn was gonna leave her. Adalyn quickly nodded her head, "Yes, yes. Please, I want to return back to the sea." she said, taking Ninda hand. Vanessa lowered her head, not helping the tears wanting to escape thing Adalyn was the first of them to be there. "Oh Nessa." Adalyn said, coming over to her and pulled her into a hug.

She brought her arms up, "No, no I'm happy. See." she said, pulling away slightly as she forced a smile but it was easy to tell it upset her.

She shook her head, "I'll stay if you want-"

Vanessa quickly shook her head, "No, no! I'm just-" she brought her hands up to wipe her face and she forced a smile. "I'm just being emotional, allot has happen. I do want you to return back, it's where you do belong. Not out here. But. . ." she paused for a second and Adalyn took her hands. "Please save you'll come back to visit. You've become so important to my life."

Adalyn smiled widely, "Of course I am. Well get ice cream and do normal girl things."

Vanessa chuckled for real this time because it did sound very nice, "Go, I'll be fine. Really. Knowing you'll visit relieved me hearing."

Adalyn nodded and hugged her tightly one last time, "The seas is never separated. We'll always be together."

Vanessa just hugged her tightly, burying her face into the space between her neck and shoulder. They stood like that for a moment before Vanessa could finally release her. Ninda came over and took Adalyn hand. They both turned and stepped inside the water. When they were in a little, they both turned around and waved at them. Vanessa smiled as she waved back. They both turned back around and dove into the water.

Vanessa frowned a little as she lowered her head and looked down at the sand already missing them. Raphael put his arms around her and comforted her in his arms. She pressed her cheek against chest, sighing heavily.

"So I guess I'm gonna head on home." James said after a moment. Vanessa pulled herself away from Raphael and looked at James who frowned as he looked at her. He ran his fingers through his hair, "Me continuing to be here-I know I'll cause more trouble." he said, looking up at Raphael for a moment before looking at her. "Even, I been away far too long. Should head back now, go see a doctor."

Vanessa knew what he meant by causing more trouble so she nodded, "Don't just disappear though. Write?"

He forced a smile as he nodded, "Of course, Vanessa." He stared at her for a moment, "Don't think any of this was you fault, Vanessa. It was surely an experience, I would do it a hundred more times." She just forced a smile and nodded since she never wanted this to happen again. He nodded also and opened his mouth like he wanted to speak but he looked at Raphael for a moment before turning around and left.

Vanessa watched for a moment before sighing heavily and pressed her cheek against Raphael chest, "I can't believe it's all finally over."

He chuckled, "Well, not exactly." he said, confusing her since it was over. She pulled away to tell him it was but he could speak before, "Hey, we still got our lives to live don't we? I love you, Vanessa."

She smiled, seeing where he was getting at, "Still love me as an ordinary human?"

"You'll never be ordinary, Nessie. You're perfect, either human or mermaid." he said.

She stood up on her tip toes and pecked him long on the mouth, "I love you too, Raphael." He wrapped his arms tightly around her waist, holding her against him as he kissed her again.
